Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
LMFAO. Britney thought she was smart using her dad as a thumbnail and using that title.. pulling her minions into watching an ad!

Am I the only one who isn't watching her videos with her Dad in it. That old timer is a pain to watch. Trying to woo her barely legal fan girls.

Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
I hope they paid her extra to make a whole video for them...I didn't even bother with that bullshit. Who would be interested in even watching it? The smart thing to do would've been to add it in a regular vlog.
Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
I don't really get the core concept of hello fresh. For me grocery shopping is the easiest part of cooking because you have to go anyway for other stuff, it's not like it can be avoided. And if you're so busy you can't food shop do you have time to cook tons of dinners? I doubt it. Ugh it's like all the wasted money of take out and all the effort of just cooking an actual meal. Watching youtubers try so hard to convince people this shitty product is worth their money just makes me sad for them. Imagine selling your integrity for a Hello Fresh spon.

Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
I think it would be a great idea if someone as just starting out.. like a showr gift or a gift to someone who just got their first apartment(ie. learning how to cook) but why does a family need it? a family of na sahm no less? like I dont want to sound as if all moms should be doing is cooking but what is so hard about planning a meal when essentially as a sahm, that is your job? Maybe for a couple who both worked long hours but even still, why would you want to come home and cook it? That's the hard part, not grocery shopping (because like you said, you need to go anywhere for other food, hygiene and household products etc) and I dont care if it comes in a refrigerated bag, I dont want to eat chicken that has been sitting on my porch all dayluci417 wrote:I don't really get the core concept of hello fresh. I totally agree. I think hellofresh would be good for single people living alone, who don't cook that much so they don't already have a pantry and fridge stocked with staples. It makes no sense for families because each meal costs like 10 dollars more. I could prepare a meal for my family of four for 10 dollars or less so there's no need to pay 10 dollars for each person. If that makes sense...my husband and I tried a week of hellofresh just for fun and they would send me a tiny thing of soy sauce or honey, stuff that I already have lol. It annoys me that all these family bloggers promote hellofresh when we all know they don't use it regularly.WheresMyCoffee wrote:I think it would be a great idea if someone as just starting out.. like a showr gift or a gift to someone who just got their first apartment(ie. learning how to cook) but why does a family need it? a family of na sahm no less? like I dont want to sound as if all moms should be doing is cooking but what is so hard about planning a meal when essentially as a sahm, that is your job? I think hello fresh may work for some people
Someone who lives alone and work long hours that only dinner is home cooked meal and they want the exact amount for each recipes so the food dont go bad ...
Anyway isnt it fresh ingrediants and you do it from scratch? Like fresh vege/meat and you cook them? Why was she going on and on that she tricked her dad when she said she made it from scratch ???

Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
I think the only time I would ever use Hellofresh is if I've rented a house on a week-long vacation, and didn't have all the spices, condiments, and typical ingredients that are already in my pantry. Like someone else said, the tiny bottle of soy sauce they send is ridiculous. But I doubt that's an option since it's not my permanent address.
It might be a good idea for a gift for someone that just moved into their first home, and is learning how to cook.

Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
I'm just curious why you think Alyssa is a free-loader. Upon graduation from high school, she worked odd jobs (nanny, ToysRUs) and went to community college. Her schedule was that of a typical college student so she would see Britney and her mom and grandma on college breaks. I can believe her dad helped her out some but why do you think Britney/Ean did? And now Alyssa and her girlfriend both work full-time (in a clinic for autistic children, I think?) I think they also take college classes when they can afford it and fit it in to try to get a BA of some sort. You might not like Alyssa's personality but it seems to me she is a pretty hard worker.marshmellow wrote:Seriously Britney , Alyssa , her Dad and her obnoxious half-brother are peas in a pod. Ok tell me one thing because I don't know how this works. When Aria was little Alyssa would come ALL THE TIME and stay for a week or a weekend. Back then Ean was the main source of income and B would make very little. So basically Alyssa was a free-loader ? Any idea how that worked ??

Re: BritneyAndConsumerism (Part 32)
I think you have not understood my question correctly. I am not sure what she does now. I was curious to know who paid for her expenses ( any expense that comes with an extra person being at home) whenever she used to visit B and E back when Aria was a baby. I was only curious because B made very little money back then and E provided for pretty much everything. Alyssa coming home ALL the time would have surely added a lot to their expenses. I did not claim she was a free-loader. I was wondering if she was a free-loader at B's home. Hope I'm clear enough.olemama wrote:I'm just curious why you think Alyssa is a free-loader. I bet it’s merchandise. But she hasn’t designed anything, or knows what company to go through, or when it’ll be out. And then we won’t hear about it ever again.webby wrote:great. must be a workout plan or her decision to do M-F videos. no way can she be a daily vlogger

Let’s remember this is britney we are talking about. Her “exciting” announcement will be something like watching a pot on the stove boil.

I will guess she’s getting a puppy, and say it’s going to be therapeutic for Nolan but it will be an impulse purchase and they won’t train it properly. Within a year it will be out of control and a total nuisance, they’ll send it off for training, and we’ll never see it again.
That or Brit’s Brew is returning for her little coffee beans.
