This is my point. It isn’t like they haven’t had vacations or time away from their precious miracles. At least delay it a day or two, not knowing the extent of the injury.

It isn’t like they don’t have disposable income...well, at least in their own eyes.

I can’t believe I’m going to stick up for the Gardners but I wouldn’t cancel a trip if my kid got staples.
My kid has gotten staples in their head and they were totally fine right after. Went to school the next day. They cut their head and it’s normal here to get staples on the head instead of stitches. If I was leaving my kids for an extended time I’d be leaving them with my parents who I’d trust to be totally capable of caring for my kids no matter what.

We don’t know if it’s really a head injury or just a cut on the head. I mean, we’re all assuming she got pushed off the island by one of her bestie sisters lol but she could have just as easily run into the corner of a table and cut her head. I think Tyson and Ashley are crap parents but I don’t fault them for going on their planned vacation. Besides we all know whoever is watching the girls will keep a more watchful eye on Indie than Tyson and Ashley ever do.

I get your point but it’s not as if this was a much needed vacation - a special occasion, or because they really need a break. Since Christmas alone they’ve been to Australia, California, Florida, the Bahamas? Do they really need to go to Greece as well?

I think it's more than just a cut on the head by the way Jordan Page said it and Ashley and Tyson reacted to her saying it. Jordan actually said that one of their (Gardners) girls got staples in her head last night and they almost missed their flight. If it were just a cut, I don't think they would have nearly missed their flight. I'm no doctor but I believe that getting staples means it's a pretty deep gash where stitches wouldn't hold the injury enough for it to heal. I guess we really wont know for sure until the emergency ER visit vlog comes out in 2 weeks.

Just because you would do it doesn't make it right, normal or healthy. I don't think canceling your entire life is needed for this level of medical attention, but a delay feels logical.

Or from an outside bike that they should be wearing helmets for that are most likely still sitting in their original boxes.

As a parent, if my child got staples in her head I would
#1 cancel my trip or at least catch a later flight in a day or two after seeing how they were.

#2 be back from said vacation in time for the staples to come out.

Regarding the meme on QTK, I think someone else put the blurb about "your kid getting staples in her head". I went to the QTK Instagram page because i wanted to see for myself if Ashley wrote that on there and that blurb isnt on the picture. Cannot believe there are actually people who feel it’s ok for Perv & Screech to nonchalantly resume their normal selfish lives. Leaving behind an injured child. I don’t give a flip how inconsequential some seem to feel staples in the head are! Most “normal” parents....with true parental feelings.....would never even think of a trip out of the country is fine. Little kids want mommy or daddy when injured & scared. Staples are extremely uncomfortable the entire time someone has them let alone a 4 yr old child. I can’t even fathom leaving my child just hours from an ER trip.

I’m new here I’ve been lurking for months and trying to figure out how to post. I’ve always enjoyed their vlogs and family until recently and the last straw has been the (free) traveling and leaving the country when your child has fresh staples in her head!!!! Makes me sick. I have three boys and two of them are twins and ever since I’ve become a Mom they’ve always been the most important thing and traveling....especially away from them has been put on the back burner. They haven’t even been friends with Jordan for long so this trip has to have been booked within the last 2-3 months max and they already had all their other trips booked. I would have said sorry I’ll have to hold off until next year without a doubt. This is just so sad and there isn’t a single doubt in my mind that they should have canceled this trip all together. I’m sure they had trip insurance and it would have been covered. Those staples will need to be looked at while they’re away on the beach and who is going to be taking them? This is just insane! Also, if I figure out how to post a picture I think I have something you’ll all be interested in

I am so thankful you said this! AMEN SISTER!!! Totally agree with you 100%.
My child would WANT ME regardless if another relative was completely capable of taking care of her. My own conscience wouldn't allow me to leave her after such an injury.

There are so many ways negligence could cause one of the girls to get staples to the head. If so they will sugar coat it or just say it part of childhood. They will always take every free trip given to them even if it means leaving their girls in the care of others for weeks at a time.

On another note....it looked like they regifted the basket they got for bringing another vlogger family their camera back from California, to Tylard's mother today. I've noticed it in some of the vlogs sitting on the counter top. I tried to find the vlog where Trashley was given the basket, but I can't find it. I'm almost positive it's the same one. It wouldn't surprise me because it's only the best for Tylard's mom.
