I'm not sure how Chase is off camera, but on camera he seems fairly chill/nice. I don't get bad vibes from him or think he's weird. Compared to other Youtubers' husbands, he seems pretty normal.

He also has his own career and hobbies which is a plus. It seems like most husbands drop their careers when their wives gain YouTube success. The ones that don't seem happier and have healthier (it seems) marriages.

I'll probably get flack for saying this, but Ashley lucked out marrying Chase. He's always supportive, helpful, and patient with her and Savannah. I think she knows he's a great catch for her and brings her down to earth.

I agree that she lucked out with him when it comes to his patience. I don't know many men that would tolerate their wife acting like a sensitive baby about everything. He also comes off as very responsible. That being said, I also look at him as a doormat and that isn't the least bit attractive.

Call me an SJW or whatever you want, but I hope she doesn't tell people she's indigenous American. She's more white than native.

Personally, I don't think people with less than 85% indigenous DNA should receive scholarships when indigenous descendants who live on reservations are struggling financially and academically. The fact that she called her tribe poor and that they don't have much funds for scholarships irked me. You can't just claim Native American when you need money. Savannah is a sweet child, but she's probably 95% caucasian. An actual indigenous child is more deserving of receiving a scholarship from her tribe than Savannah at this point.

Sorry if this upsets anyone, but I think it's messed up how anyone (usually white people) claim to be Native American when actual indigenous Americans are still a marginalized and often overlooked community that need as much financial help as they can get.

I completely agree with you! I couldn’t believe she said they were accepting this money. I think that is truly disgraceful! Like you said there are plenty of people deserving of this money. They don’t need it and shouldn’t be claiming it. I’m not sure what the expenses are for homeschooling but I’m sure the various fees, field trips and fundraisers in public school demand more than what they are paying now.

She mentioned in her recent Q&A that she had Cherokee roots I believe. There is a scholarship given for people with Native American backgrounds. However, we don’t think she really should qualify or deserves this when there are other more deserving people out there who actually NEED the money!! I thought she shouldn't even have brought that up. She kind of complained too that it wasn’t much $$.

So many cringeworthy things were said in the Q&A video. I think most have been pointed out by others so I’ll keep my thoughts to myself. But, I would really like to see a negative comment or two slip through about the love language part. She definetly portrayed herself as greedy and self entitled.

Since some of her videos were put up during the work week, does that mean that Chase was approving comments while at work? That would be bad if he were to get caught and lose his job or have other repercussions.

Ashley, please stop referring to the woman who approves your comments as a STAY AT HOME MOM. Since you’re paying her, she’s now a WORK AT HOME MOM just like you are.

I actually watched the q&a now and my gosh. Like a few people said, they are roommates. Of course her love language is gift giving. Even when they were poor, chase just couldn’t say or do something nice for her, he had to go spend money he didn’t have. How pathetic and selfish of her. She doesn’t like hearing “I love you”?!?!? They need to re-evaluate this marriage. And my gosh let chase answer the damn questions that are asked to him!!

Edit to add: clearly YouTube isn’t the culprit of her selfish narcissistic personality. She has always been that way. “I’m the baby I like to be taken care of”.

She has stated in the past that her mother started bleaching her hair and getting her fake nails in elementary school - of course she is narcissistic and values looks and money and adoration over all else. Hopefully Chase has enough influence at home that he breaks that cycle with Savannah. I am starting to think Ashley is envious of Sav; Sav seems to be friendly and outgoing, no doubt would make friends easily but Ashley does not allow that to happen and instead keeps her on a tight reign and suffocated. Reminds me of that old movie Mommy Dearest. . .

Her sister is a few years older than her so I imagine that it was more age appropriate for her sister to start with the highlights and fake nails as she was likely in middle school. Ashley probably pitched a fit that her sister was getting something that she wasn’t so her Mom gave in.

I’d really like to know the dynamics between Ashley and her sister. I looked up her sister on LinkedIn—she has two girls and works outside the home. I wonder what she thinks of Ashley always complaining about how busy he is with YouTube.

So he'll probably not want to eat but she's gonna heat up her crap processed pizzas and have a caesar salad. OK... how does this person not have at least cup-of-noodles in the house at least? She just sounds like such a cold person. Oh, but she's hoping he doesn't get her sick! Chase never gets homemade noodle soup or homemade anything unless he makes it. He gets Gatorade. I would hate to see what happens in flu season!

Other than that, major snoozefest. Do people really care about how she plans her days? For real? How desperate are they that they can't plan their own stuff? Ugh.

I have to say, I'm absolutely blown away with the fact that she took assistance from a tribe when she just bought a shiny new refrigerator, bought an extra vacuum (yes, we saw it, girl), another new rug, new bedding for Savannah, goes on a road trip to Arizona, eats out 3-4 nights a week, buys endless cheap tennis shoes and garage sale junk, has an LV bag, yet has the gall to ask for tribal assistance for homeschooling. They should have denied her based on income alone since there are so many Native American families that seriously could use the help. I am absolutely astounded and disgusted at the nerve of that woman. Taking from the poor is not a good look. Be better than that, Ashley.

Is this one of her 'dills'? Another way to save that Almighty dollar? My biggest question is: What will Ashely do for her tribe in return or in what way will she honor her Cherokee brothers and sisters?

She should’ve just ended the vlog saying Chase was coming home early because he was sick and that she wanted to be present in the moment for whatever he needed instead of vlogging.

She’s showing a totally different persona than in her earlier videos. Is the the “real” Ashley coming out—the one with the not so nice nickname based on her maiden name—or has she changed her personality due to being on YouTube?

I think she said she was from the Creek tribe. Which is a tribe that is less well of financially which makes her receiving aid even worse....

I sent an email to Olive Garden guest relations complaining that they sent out a free pass to her while other people may eat there just as often but don’t post about it on social media. I was under the impression that there was a limited number of passes available and that someone who wanted to buy one may miss out due to them sending free ones to “influencers”. I have been to Olive Garden two or three times in about a year so I’m definitely not a regular customer like The Nelson’s are.

I know. It’s like she thinks she is the first person to discover one can write a list of to do’s and check them off as they are completed or she is the first person to use a calendar to write down appointments, reminders, etc. Ground breaking news!!
