Yes I think in the about last ten years things changed. My oldest nephew will be 21 in October and he got braces when he was ten. I have a very small mouth and my teeth up top are slightly crooked again, but I was told by my orthodontist that my teeth would probably never be perfectly straight because of the size of my mouth. My mouth is so small that when my adult incisors came in they came in behind my other adult teeth sideways and had to be pulled. Only one of my children seem to have my very small mouth and that is my 9-year-old, God help him. I had braces for five years that's how crooked my teeth were.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Thu Jul 02, 2020 3:17 pm Back in my day (and my kids) you didn't get braces until you had most of your adult teeth, but I guess things are changing. The Leroys middle daughter just got hers off. She's a tween.
I wish I still had my retainer! My teeth are all crooked again, and I went through hell to get them straight! I had a very messed up mouth...

Lol. I had horizontally impacted molars and my incisors were coming in the roof of my mouth. But my orthodontist went to the Marquis de Sade school of orthodontics. He cranked down on my teeth so hard, I couldn't eat for a couple of days after adjustments. But my teeth moved fast!PirateWench8 wrote:Yes I think in the about last ten years things changed. My son had his first orthodontist appointment when he was 12, he’s has a couple of remaining baby teeth pulled, then a 6 month wait for the adult teeth to come in and his next appointment is in august to have two adult teeth removed to put braces on.lmmomSD wrote:Back in my day (and my kids) you didn't get braces until you had most of your adult teeth, but I guess things are changing. Thats normal here. You wouldnt often see anyone under the age of 11-12 having braces. Most dental work for under 18’s here is free, so they arent doing it as a money grab. In the US they tend to do shit for the hell of it.

Mindy telling us what she’s making for breakfast today AND tomorrow is the enlightening content we all needed!
OMG lady, get a life. And some friends that you can share this minutiae with. I’m guessing they wouldn’t care just as much as we don’t.

I know I'm beating a dead horse. But she so obviously is bored and lonely. She is on IG constantly yammering on about the most inane things.

I wonder if she uses instastories as a replacement for friends, because in real life no one listens to her. Whether it's her kids, wider family or friends. If she is this boring on social media, then she must be really boring in person. We all know social media is where you make your life seem far more interesting than it actually is. So, if this is the "exciting" content she puts out, then it can only be assumed she's even worse in person.lmmomSD wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 10:12 amTHIS!!!Pufflepup wrote:Mindy telling us what she’s making for breakfast today AND tomorrow is the enlightening content we all needed!

Packing tips vlog? Is Mindy for real? She seriously just copies vlogs they’ve already done on their other channel and recreates them for her channel. She is beyond dull.

She's got at least 40 instastories on the TIHWB Instagram plus 10 more on "Mindy's Best".
Someone needs to take her phone away.
And yes, I have been saying for a while that she substitutes her "insta-fam" (her term) for actual friends. And she gets tons of adoration from the Bingham minions who seem to hang on her every post, unlike actual friends who might say something like "gee, Mindy, do you really need to post EVERY thought you have in a day?"

I just can’t imagine what they do all day besides filming every little thing they do. Do they even know how to talk to anyone face to face? Anytime someone else is in the frame with them, they’re talking to the camera.

Here in the U.K., you don’t get braces until your baby teeth are all gone.
They wouldn’t pull a baby tooth here unless they absolutely had to - like maybe in h thy he case of infection or something. The policy is that an extraction is an extraction unless the tooth falls out naturally and all extractions carry the risk of infection.
My youngest daughter had double teeth in nearly all of her teeth. The front baby teeth sat there while the others grew up behind. The dentist would not remove them and said they would fall out in their own good time, which they did.
Her molars came up and her baby molars refused to budge. The baby teeth cracked but hung on as the adult ones came up. The dentist said they would fall out bit by bit and wouldn’t interfere unless there was an infection. Eventually they just fell out. She actually developed a few little granulomas because of the rubbing, which the dentist then snipped out without stitching or anything.
Despite all the crowding and pushing, the teeth all came in perfectly straight and she has never needed braces.
There is much more of a wait and see policy here, until all the adult teeth have come in.

I know this was mentioned a wee while ago. But this family is seriously ignorant when it comes to covid. Looking at how they're living their life with all thats' going on with the pandemic in the states and Utah, I find it unbelievable that they're doing what they're doing. Yes, here in NZ we took a very hard approach and there are pro's and con's to it, but it meant we all knew what we should and shouldn't be doing. If I was living in the states, I'd be voluntarily socially isolating as much as possible and if I was out in public I'd be all over the social distancing and not going anywhere that isn't essential. I genuinely don't understand how they can be so blase about the whole thing, especially something as serious as this. I mean the way they handled Branden being in isolation was a joke! Anyone with a brain could figure out that the whole family should've been too! They are really annoying me with all of this.

Yep. Personality myself I feel extremely uneasy living in someone else house now. If they want to do something then why hiking/nature walks to a quiet park for a day trip then come home.littlemissmuffet123 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 03, 2020 9:13 pm I know this was mentioned a wee while ago. At least they are wearing masks. Props to the Binghams for that unlike some other people making a huge deal out of it.

I'm so glad there are some people calling them out on their instagram post right now for not really taking this whole virus seriously and not speaking out much about what is happening in our society. Of course there's the people trying to defend them but I really hope they see these comments and check themselves.

Mindys token picture with Madi and caption “one of my favorite pictures ever!”
How about: you let Madi and Branden take some damn pictures together considering she is HIS daughter. Always Mindy posting the pictures of her.
Although I think this is just further evidence that Branden is more in the moment kind of guy (Or he’s just chasing video content) and Mindy is all about doing it for the ‘gram.

They posted some old phots on IG and I cannot believe the difference, the smiles were actually genuine,
not fake and phony... I’d love for Maddie to take over and film the vlog, but Mindy is too much of a control freak and keeps a death grip on that camera. It’s insane to me that they dragged the kids to that outlet mall for shoes on a holiday weekend when they don’t have jobs and hello, it’s a pandemic! They annoy me so much! And Brex with the ripped up shoes when Hazy has maybe 20 pairs, it’s disgusting.

It didn’t even occur to them that you should only take one child in at a time instead of a whole family of 7... let alone shopping at all.

She just likes to use Madi as a prop.
Branden, when a middle aged man in Utah is saying things like "full send", that means that it's pretty much not cool anymore.

Re: This Is How We Buy Stuff, Baby | This Is How We Bingham | Part 5
Mindy posted on Instagram that Ryler bought his own shoes. Of course, they skipped that little detail in the vlog. Why does the boy have to pay for his own shoes when the princess is given more shoes than she can wear in a month? Now that Mindy has decided that she likes Ryler's Crocs, I am sure that Hazy will be gifted with a pair or three in short order.
