Honestly, I think Mindy is depressed or has SAD. It would make sense to me why she seems so fake in her HEY GUYS intros and also cries all the time. As well as why running made such a big impact on her life.

I have said many times that she seems to me to be lonely and bored. She had her own little business doing nails, and although it probably wasn't a big lucrative deal, it gave her adults to talk to besides the man-child, and a purpose besides brood mare, chief cook and bottle washer, and counter point to Branden's "rad, epic, and savage dad".
I mean, who buys an extra electric scooter just so that her neighbors will have one to go scooter riding? It's not just showing off, it's practically begging someone to go with her. She couldn't just walk with her neighbors?
And even though negative comments probably get deleted quickly and their little stans attack anyone who doesn't worship her, she probably gets bummed seeing negative comments. She spends so much of her day talking to her "Instafam", I wonder how many real friends she has left.

I was just thinking that about the comments too.
They have really been slated recently - especially with the whole piano thing.
Her life really is so empty. I almost feel sorry for her. I wonder how much of Mormonism she really buys into and yet her whole life is restricted by it.
They could have made so much more of all this lockdown etc. Imagine how much more fulfilled she might feel if she sat down with her kids and helped them with their homework etc and actually helped them achieve stuff.
There are only so many cushions and paintings etc one person can buy, before they realise it’s not the magic cure.

Wow I didn't notice that. Though I'm not sure Apple Watches have a different colour border around the screen like that. Still, definitely doesn't look like one of the meant-for-kids watches. Looks huge on her!

It looks like a GizmoWatch which is for kids. She may have on Brexon or Krew's watch for fun they both have one. My younger two have them and on my 8-year-old it looks big like that. They come in blue like the one Hazy has on and pink.

Also I'm actually glad that they let Hazel play with it and have a Switch. Maybe she'll actually learn some problem/puzzle solving skills and exercise her critical thinking since it ain't gonna come from either of her parents.

@MervelllaB, you said it! The endless redecorating ("renovation" she calls it) and buying new couches, rugs, and "art" are signs that she is trying to fill a gigantic hole inside herself.
So many other YouTubers seem to think the very same issue. They spend like there's no tomorrow, constantly redecorating rooms and never being satisfied with the results. I wonder if part of it is knowing that they do very little to contribute to society in return for the disproportionately large amount of money they receive for "sharing their lives", and also knowing that they aren't deserving of the adulation from their devoted fans. They also have to know deep down that it's really skeevy to accept money from minors and from people who make much less than they do. When you keep doing something you know is wrong, it eats away at you. For example, I don't think the Gardners believe they do anything wrong. They feel that they deserve the money they grift from their fans. Branden might, but I don't think Mindy does. I think somewhere inside she knows it's wrong. But the inability to see the suffering in the rest of the world is rampant in vloggers. I mean they are traveling, and Shanna Leroy did a 17 minute vlog today about how her greatest fear in life is throwing up. That is some next level self absorption. People are dying in intensive care without getting a chance to say goodbye to the people they love, and her "greatest fear" is throwing up? Caring so little about others leaves you with a hole inside.

Today's video Mindy spends a good minute explaining the current school situation. The next clip, Brandon explains the exact.same.thing. I get maybe they didn't realise they both talked about the same thing when filming, but surely he realised when he was editing? Maybe he spends so much time making cuts he doesn't actually listen to what Mindy has said and just makes sure her buts and ums are gone.

I was just watching their IG stories and they are at some hotel with other people, at gym, pool, walking around and not a mask in site. And Yes TIHWB went to a hotel but they wore mask, and kept to them selves. Both families definitely have flaws.

Our Life and Holland and the Mcneels are both extremely irresponsible. The bighams come no where close to basically every other sibling and friends. OLIH have a son that’s getting surgery this year and they barely wear masks!! Dan and Chelle went to Mexico and a bunch of other places too. Jared and Britt got covid so we know they were irresponsible to begin with. Sean never knows when it’s time to stay at home instead of leaving to another continent. The McNeels went to cancun with another family (the cornrow video was pretty disrespectful) I mean the list goes on. Other than Brexen wearing his mask under his nose, the others all top the Binghams in irresponsibility.
It’s sad and pathetic that they live so recklessly in a pandemic. People are dying, I haven’t seen my father for 50 days in the hospital. I cannot stand people who don’t care about anyone but themselves.

The Hollands are ridiculously irresponsible. Lindsey has never been one to wear a mask properly. Falling off her face or under her nose every time I’ve seen her wearing one. Now in Mexico there’s no masks in sight. Not even in their hand from taking it off for the photo. I think ever since they became besties with this other couple they’ve gone way downhill. Constant date nights and poor decision making.

TIHWB definitely is more mindful of masks and does a good job there but they still come across as not taking it seriously.

I haven’t been watching them lately, no patience...but today’s video caught my eye because of the random kid with a broken arm on their challenge...is Ryler buying his friends? I wonder what that kid’s parents will say when he gets home with money and a brand new switch...
Also my heart broke for Brexen... look at his face when Branden says that the least valuable item is the plaque he made in brex’s birthday party...I know it’s just a porcelain thingy but...poor kid...and Ryler definitely broke it on purpose and they were all laughing....
Also, why did they already have a new switch ready to go if it wasn’t staged?

I was wondering if they had sought the kid’s parents’ permission? My daughter commented that if they had done that to one of my kids without asking me, I would have sent it straight back. I wouldn’t have given permission for them to give an item like that to my child. Ive never had a problem with my kids having a switch - it’s just not a stranger’s place to buy them such an item.
The kid with the broken arm, broke his arm on the way home from their house one evening. They have mentioned it several times. I have been wondering if there was more to the story than they have said. Is that why he was getting the switch?
