DailyLiars&Spenders -Part 33
Re: DailyLiars&Spenders -Part 33
The thing that doesn't make sense to me is, why didn't the Blogger just say..."oh, everything was from Hobby Lobby, I'm sure they aren't the only ones that bought all the decor for that theme"...she made it look like they really did steal her idea when in reality they didn't?
I don't know...I'm tired of thinking about it...lol.

Yeah I agree.. I mean some of what they do is a bit unoriginal but this actually seems to be true. I do think they just saw the stuff at hobby lobby, thought it was cute, bought it, and put it up.lurkymclurkerston wrote:I don't think he actually went and took a photo. I'm sure they snapped it when deciding on it. Or if one wasn't there and the other was... Like "hey we should decorate Olivers room like this"

Did he really drive to hobby lobby just to take a pic of the aisle?
Oh well, he may not have copied the blog but at least he doesn't get to claim #socreative anymore. It's sad how excited he was in the room tour when they literally just took everything in that aisle and took it home. So lazy. In my son's room, it is not pinterest perfect, but every piece of art and decorative item has a story, or was picked out carefully over the course of months. It wasn't just a bunch of generic, culturally offensive mass produced hobby lobby crap. But then when you change your kid's room theme as often as they do, I guess you have to take a tacky theme and run with it.

She actually said that they had a ton of clothes of Ollie's that were new or like new, and that she was going to use those. For ONCE, they are being thrifty.ghostgrrl wrote:Now to backtrack and defend them a little re: Little Finley's Wardrobe
I know some of you here are parents, some aren't. I have a son who is 20mos. He was the first grandchild in my family and he received a TON of clothes. Some outfits (especially newborn and 0-3) he never wore, or only wore once. They grow so fast in the beginning and most people buy NB and 0-3 clothes for baby showers and gifts that most people don't get much wear out of them. And they probably had clothes that they already bought (I remember Missy being so excited about a lot of clothes she bought for Oliver on CL, wow, look how far they've come :s), he was a "miracle" baby in their family so probably received tons of gifts from family and friends, and then there was the PO box and the many gifts they recieved there, when their audience was mostly loss moms with jobs and income and not 12 year olds that need to ask mommy and daddy to buy DB merch
I'm not saying they are not wasteful or ungrateful (I think they are both) but in this particular instance I think it would make more sense for them to use Ollie's "old" clothes.

Oh, you poor thing! I hated it. The only good thing was the huge shot of demerol I got for the cysts it caused. And Mr doctor said, "that means you're ovulating! Go home and have sex!" But I was so out of it from the demerol, it wasn't going to happen, lol.Cgl33 wrote:She deleted my comments too.
No Bryan, I'm not bored. I am extremely uncomfortable because I'm on a high dose of Clomid.
Good luck!! I did get a son and a daughter out of it, so it was worth it, both times.

Hmmm. Idk. I live in Canada so we don't have Hobby Lobby!! I don't even go to Michael's often. (I'm too cheap )Thegoatsmeow wrote:Just going to throw this out there, I really don't think there was a need for Bryan to say he got the idea from the blog that was posted, I'll explain why.
I am not sure if you guys have a Hobby Lobby where you're from? I would say 80% of the decor was from Hobby Lobby. At Hobby Lobby, all that decor is in the same section by theme. It really isn't anyone's original idea besides Hobby Lobby. It certainly was not an original idea from the blog that was posted. People who decorate with that decor are bound to copy each other, there really is only so many ways to hang a picture/moose head.
Don't get me wrong, I understand the point you're trying to make, but since all that stuff came from hobby lobby, there really is no way to be too original. I was just at hobby lobby last weekend and saw all that decor. It was 40% off (like most hobby lobby decor) plus you can get mobile coupons to get an additional 40% off on some items.

I don't think Ellie is above throwing shade lol. I think she is a more tolerable YT mom, but I don't love her.

The person who the lumps copied off of posted about it. The comments But seriously, I love this girl. She's being so sweet about it and the lumps are going to get creamed by her if they do it again. I checked out her blog and I love her style and taste and she has ORIGINAL ideas, take some notes, bumps.

I find it so hard to believe she's a year older than me/my BFs age. But when she goes tweeting shit like that she shows her age. Lmfao.Cgl33 wrote:I don't think Ellie is above throwing shade lol. I think she is a more tolerable YT mom, but I don't love her.

Oh Bry Bry. People who have nothing to hide don't need to defend themselves endlessly. He's so immature. I bet he drove all the way to Hobby Lobby and took that picture to prove us wrong because he's a man child. They could have just bought all of it and put it together but I don't believe they did because they're never original and they don't have any creativity. I still can't believe he took a picture of the aisle. Really??Theirmom wrote:twomommies wrote:Screenshot of CryBry at Hobby Lobby?

Re: DailyLiars&Spenders -Part 33
Sorry for so many posts... I was busy and missed a lot. I did a nautical theme for my son. I _made_ his crib quilt, and bumpers, and he actually still has the crib quilt. My mom made a bigger quilt to match, and it was so beautiful he took it with him when he moved to Montana. Living in San Diego, it was easy to find nautical themed decorations.ghostgrrl wrote:Did he really drive to hobby lobby just to take a pic of the aisle?

But even if they found everything at one aisle at Hobby Lobby and didn't copy the blog, WHY act as though it was all his idea, and he was so inspired? Besides the fact that Ollie never has adventures, gets to do any imaginative play, or play in dirt, what does this room have to do with Ollie? I don't object to it being a "big boy" room, but it just doesn't seem to have anything Ollie likes in it. And that moose is just weird. Did they really tell him it was a cow? That's sad.

Please s eexhave those facial pubes, Bryan, you are not Justin Bieber. Also sorry but his Twitter pic next to that pic from post "recording" shows how much he tries to hide that he's fat.FJ_Lanning wrote:shortstop wrote:Bryan is getting defensive on Twitter about copying hahahhahahhaha

Re: DailyLiars&Spenders -Part 33
Jess' thread is dead and boring. Came over here to see what these wannabes have been up to.
Fun!
My theory is Missy was googling for ideas, found that page, liked the stuff and went to Hobby Lobby and got everything. Now they're just trying to pretend they had no outside inspiration at all. Missy has no originality.
what frick is an adventure theme? How silly. Actually, what is Missy's obsession with themed rooms? He's two and it's the third theme.

Re: DailyLiars&Spenders -Part 33
Ellie has been changing. At least to me she has. I've seen a few things in the last few months that I just don't like. I still love Jared though. (No longer doing mom vids, not mentioning things like switching to front facing and buying new strollers, no longer responding to comments, etc).Farleygirl wrote:I was coming here to say something about this...I'm about ready to be DONE with the Mechams if they keep this up.twomommies wrote:I'm really starting to dislike Ellie the more she hangs out with them and defends them like this.....nzmum512 wrote:Ellie throwing shade? This is a VERY unpopular opinion on their board though. Proceed with caution of you dare say anything critical!
