They have some of the basics like a dining room set/bedroom set and I don't know how they will decorate the living room. They have a lot of space to fill!

I have a feeling they'd rather it go to an adult viewer over a child. They know if they did a Switch the kids would be flocking to enter. Personaly I'd rather have a GoPro5 over a Switch. I actually was thinking it was the Canon camera a lot of vlogers use before they said it was the GoPro.

Haha I'm an adult viewer and have a switch. Most of nintendos audience are between 20-40. (Teenagers play Xbox . I'm a Nintendo geek. I see what you are saying though. If I won a GoPro I would give it away or sell it because I don't really have a use for it. A canon camera might be better for sure.

Anyway, I agree with tratra about the irony wondering how the newbie who found the house and made her first post saying she found it.

Honestly, broadcasting your daily life showing landmarks where you live, etc, expect your privacy to be invaded. If it's on the Internet, it's all fair game. I was watching their first early vlogs and they have said their last name. It's not hard to find their information online.

What I wonder, they won a trip and we never hear about it. Hopefully they have a few years to use it, as in it don't expire in a few years. I'm always wondering if/when they will take it.

I agree that newbies coming out like crazy asking for the link is pretty ridiculous. I did PM someone to ask, but it was someone I had had conversations with before. Every time a vlogger moves, unless they build, people go nuts. I love looking at houses, and imagining what I would do with them. But it does get creepy when there's page after page of "please PM me a link" from people we've never seen post before.

I'm sure some of y'all have been around, but it does happen a lot when a vlogger buys a house. People join just to find out where the new house is, it seems. That's creepy. You can exclude yourself from that generalization.

Maybe I'm being too harsh but damn. It's amazing to me how once they close on a house the newbes come out in droves wanting the address. There is already enough info (and photos) on here publicly that make it super easy to find the house. Idk about the rest of the people here but it makes me uncomfortable for c&k. I get that they open themselves up for stuff like this but at if you want to find it at least do it on your own and don't involve others. What they choose to show us and what they choose to keep private should be respected. We will see the exact house and what it looks like soon enough. Have a shred of decently for this family and these kids....

The irony is a "newbie" is the one who found where the house was and without this initial information, I doubt any of us would have found it. It was her first time posting here and I am still shocked how she found this house.

Is this as simple as anyone can turn off receiving messages or PM for those who have been contacted about the link more than they wish? I looked at the board rules which are vague and didn't see anything specific on PM etc. But some of this comes down to common sense too.

I think we are respect where they live or their family privacy and wouldn't think to intruded on their daily life. I believe this has been a curiosity of what they bought, but I think we all recognize Cullen and Katie are essentially strangers. YouTube is a strange world where you garner views on buying a house, having a baby, going on a vacation...the list goes on. I find it entertaining on how this group makes a living and my favorite part has been the house purchases.

I am a "newbie" but I plan to stick around. I honestly didn't know a message board like this existed and I am enjoying the board now that I have joined with the exception of quite a few unwelcoming buttholes. I understand "people coming out of the woodwork" but new people have to post at some point. Weren't you a "newbie" at some point too? I didn't come here asking for anything from anyone. I came here to SHARE the information I had found and was immediately treated badly because I'm a "newbie". I don't understand why a bunch of strangers would be hateful to someone new that has similar interests?

As to how I found the house, I looked on Zillow out of curiosity and put clues together just like everyone else. I didn't feel like it wasn't that hard to find with the information that had been provided.
