i wonder if the reason they're so conflicted over whether to ttc now is because they're not making enough money anymore? adding another child into the mix that they'll need to educate and send on a mission is very expensive, and not even the money they'll make with ttc, pregnancy and birth videos will fund that. ellie really needs help before they do anything else.

Her "miscarriage" was over 2 months ago near Mother's Day correct? She took one ovulation test and its positive? She cannot go by that, look at what happened last time.

I don't understand this woman. I think she legitimately wants to be dumb and Jared enables it. There were a shitload of comments about the ovulation tests and they choose to ignore it. That is so frustrating. They must be convinced that like 100 people are lying to them.

She got her period a month ago on June 30. If her miscarriage was around Mother's Day, that would be a pretty standard cycle. She said she started testing with OPKs and wasn't getting a positive so it sounds like she thought she wasn't going to ovulate this month but then got a positive OPK yesterday. I wonder if she is temping though because she said she liked to see how her cycle looks "on paper." If she would just temp and check her cervical fluid that would tell her so much more than an OPK.

She has an app she puts her cycle days in on. She hasn't temped before, and I doubt she's doing it now.

I wonder why they don't want to go back to the clinic that helped them conceive Jackson? They have a lot more money than they did previously, so it's somewhat strange to me that they won't utilize that resource again. Clearly Ellie is a nitwit and shouldn't be left to her own devices because it just leads to a nervous breakdown. I just don't understand why she's so insistent that they do this on their own. It's like she thinks she's been "cured" due to Calvin's unlikely conception.

I know we've discussed this a lot but I can't help but say it again. I don't really care if Ellie isn't saying something that articulate about her ovulation/pregnancy/period whatever, I still HATE it when Jared chimes in to translate for her in his Psychological Instructional Video voice. If he wants to say how HE feels as the partner/father, okay, but it always seems to be him telling us how she feels or how one should feel in circumstances like these. Is this not a classic example of 'mansplaining'?
