Re: This Is How We Bingham
I just noticed that they have "Season 2" at the beginning of the vlog. Like it's a TV show.
Mindy just keeps calling this boys studs. I just can't.

Re: This Is How We Bingham
Yeah they started that when they hit 100,000 subscribers because it was only a few weeks after they had posted their 365 (1 year) vlog. I remember them saying they were going to do "seasons" now, but now that I'm talking about it, I don't think they ever clarified if it would change every year or at every 110 K subscribers. I'm assuming year but they made it a big deal part of their "100 K Celebration" so I have no clue.lmmomSD wrote:I just noticed that they have "Season 2" at the beginning of the vlog. As for the stud thing, in the beginning I'll admit I was one of the people that wasn't really bothered with it because it isn't really used in the more.... I don't know the right word to use here... Suggestive? Sexualized?.... Ways where I live. It's just really used to describe someone popular, trendy or cool. But I'll be honest and say that in the nearly 2 years I've been watching their videos now, it has started bothering me more and more. I think maybe because it KILLS ME how much they STILL show the boys walking around without shirts on, but also because it's more said to them in a way that is meant to inflate their egos and I've seen them go from these sweet young boys who seemed very appreciative to these brats who expect things to be given to them and roll their eyes and have an attitude when they don't get it. It's more the lack of respect for anyone that really gets me and I definitely think that's an elitist mentality that is directly affected by the whole "stud" thing. Stepping down from my soap box now, hahaha

And it goes along with only praising Hazy for her looks. I know she's only two, but they can still praise her for being smart, or kind. But no. It's ALL about looks.

Re: This Is How We Bingham
I think they are raising Hazy to be too spoiled. Constant gifts, once the stuff the Binghams buy and the fan mail is factored in. It's like every day is their birthday almost.
They took her shopping for princess dresses and bought her what? 5 or 6? I think that would have been a great opportunity to tell her she only gets to pick one princess dress, at least for today. She is old enough to learn the lesson of picking one toy/dress, and not getting every princess. Then Mindy could have sent Maddi and Hazy outside and bought another one or two in bigger sizes to put away for future birthday and/or Christmas. But buying her every single princess she wanted? Come on!

Re: This Is How We Bingham
I was pretty sure they counted nine new dress up outfits on their Instagram or snapchat. Granted the 9th was only the red ridinghood cape and they used her own dress and I appreciated that they at least bought the dress being sold as a fundraiser for the little girl with cancer (and she told Hazyl about that) but still.... Nine new outfits is a lot. Even if it was a consignment type sale, that wasn't cheap I'm sure.procraftinating wrote:I think they are raising Hazy to be too spoiled. And it's not just the cost. It's letting her have whatever she wants to be a little princess, and the focus on her looks.Snarkadoodle Doo wrote:I was pretty sure they counted nine new dress up outfits on their Instagram or snapchat. Re: This Is How We Bingham
Right, I didn't even address that part! The amount of gifts are really staggering. Just watch the vlog with opening Christmas gifts alone and you get the most realistic picture I have ever seen of gluttony in my entire life. I grew up incredibly underprivileged and my family struggled to give my brother and I just 1-3 small gifts. I'll always remember the feeling of going to my neighbors house and seeing the same amount of gifts filling their living room as fills the Binghams. They were so excited and I was so heartbroken. It wasn't until I became a parent that I really understood the impact those moments had on my life. I don't think they are doing enough (or anything really) to teach these kids about humility and actually serving people with a pure heart that expects nothing in return. Or even just teach them about the importance of earning something vs. expecting something! It's called parenting for a reason. It's not our jobs to be liked or be their friends. It's our jobs to make sure they are raised right and learn how to be good people.lmmomSD wrote:And it's not just the cost. This Is How We Bingham
The gluttony is disgusting. The "fam mail", having so many Christmas presents that they actually forgot some, and the constant gifts from fans and begging (subtly) for free crap, is just ridiculous. That monotone "thank you, we love you" is so uninspired. And I gag every time Branden says "we love you all SO much"Snarkadoodle Doo wrote:Right, I didn't even address that part! Yes, it's great that Mindy bought the princess dress designed by that little girl, and told Hazy about it, but they made sure to vlog it...

Funny-- the day after we talk about the gluttony, they post a "Fam mail" vlog.

Oh-- and his "business attire"-- was he seriously bitching about a hoodie and jeans? Please tell me he was being sarcastic.

Re: This Is How We Bingham
So in today's video, Krew was getting some "seat time" in the vacant lot next door. I know the lot is empty, but it's still owned by someone, so really it's trespassing. It doesn't matter if that land touches yours and doesn't have a fence. If I was the person currently trying to sell it, I'd be really angry that it was getting ripped up by the neighbor's kid on a dirt bike. Also, if something happened and he got hurt over there, that could cause all kinds of issues with things like insurance. If I owned that land and realized they were using it, I'd be putting up a temporary fence, even if it was just strips of plastic marking the perimeter, and I'd be telling them to stay off the land.

Re: This Is How We Bingham
Did you hear Branden whining about how the property was for sale and he just doesn't want to have a house next door? Cry me a freaking river. Everyone else on the street has a neighbor right next door. But they're "special"Snarkadoodle Doo wrote:So in today's video, Krew was getting some "seat time" in the vacant lot next door. Re: This Is How We Bingham
Yes, I keep waiting for the moment they share that they feel so blessed because a 'fam'-ily member started a gofundme to help them buy that lot. He did show it from above with a drone recently and it does seem like a small and oddly triangularly shaped lot, so I imagine it actually would be kind of hard to build on. But that doesn't make them entitled to it. His parents seem to have a crapload of money, I'm actually surprised they haven't offered to buy it for them yet, or to help them at least.
