Wow, here in my area you could NEVER make that much with an associates in Nursing. In fact, our local hospitals laid off all nurses with an associates. So now a LOT are going back to school for their BSN. Though some had to still work so they transferred to local offices and nursing homes. Even nurse friends with associate degrees that had been nursing for many years made nowhere near $70K tho! Wow!!!!!ButterflyB wrote:I just have to throw this in their about associates degrees...
It really depends what your associates degree is in. I have an associates degree in nursing and make $70k a year. No I’m not balling but I live comfortably as a single mom with 1 child.
I understand it’s different as Jess has an associates degree in some type of education, which means she needs her bachelors degree. Plus she has like a million kids so her cost of living is a lot higher as she has more mouths to feed. Im not talking about Jess specifically, but I general - it is possible to make a decent wage with an associates degree if you pick the correct major.
