I'm assuming since they are already home he must be pretty healthy

They've named the baby Luke - apparently there is a birth vlog coming

I’m very curious about what’s going on with him. He’s tiny and something just seems off about how they are acting. Maybe something is wrong (I really hope not).

His eyes are really far apart. I don’t know what their other kids looked like as newborns but I wonder if that could indicate some sort of syndrome.

I agree, I was looking at the pictures in Jessica’s Instagram and noticed it before I read your post and thought there may be a syndrome. I thought his ears also looked a little different. If you look at his toes they are curled over, and he looks so tiny. I’m not sure if that all means anything or not.

I looked back over her Instagram and I don’t see the other kids as babies with eyes that far apart.

Jessica said in the name reveal that there are still some things they need to sort out with him or something to that affect. I really hope he is ok, but if he’s not, from what I’ve seen from them I think they would handle it well and he’ll grow up surrounded by love and support.

Jessica looks so happy, she’s just glowing.

Jess did say in the name announcement video that they still have a lot to figure out about the little guy. That's how she phrased it. I guess we'll see 💓

I think in art class we learned that the eyes and ears should line up....Baby Luke's don't or at least it doesn't look like they do.

I'm honestly not even 100% sure this is true but either way that baby is adorable and I hope he is healthy

Low-set ears are a sign of several syndromes. By themselves, they're not indicative of anything. But in combination with other issues, it's concerning.
We'll just have to wait and see what they say.
I hope he's ok. And I hope that if he does have any issues, they don't use them for views like the April and Davey used their daughter's knee problems. "Emotional Phone Call! She'll Need Sedation" "Sedation At the Hospital" with a thumbnail of EB sedated in her little hospital gown. And they have other thumbnails of sick kids. So do Sav and Cole, and the 8 Passengers family is making bank off of "troubled teen" Chad coming home from brat camp in Arizona. They don't have good examples around them. But I truly hope that he is ok to begin with.

I was listening to Rachel's podcast and Jessica was the cohost that day. She casually mentioned that throughout this pregnancy her "vagina kept falling out".... lol what. I looked it up and I guess she was talking about a prolapsed uterus where her cervix was either partially or all the way out. I had never heard of that before and am still slightly alarmed.

Girl needs to do her kegels! I had it happen after having my son, but I was fine during the pregnancy.
I did lots of kegels and it was fixed. If she has prolapsed uterus, she probably has wicked stress incontinence too. All those babies and no kegels...

Looks similar to Jacobsen syndrome, I’ll be curious when and if they address it.

Jacobsen syndrome is a very good guess. The facial features and lack of family history adds up. If this is the case, hopefully he falls on the more minor side of delays. Poor baby.

Her forced giggling and giant uncomfortable smile while she was introducing him was awkward and kinda sad to watch. She comes off really kooky sometimes. I feel for her going through this though. I wonder how she'll pull off homeschooling 5 kids with such a wide age range if one has special needs.

I was reading about causes for the asymmetrical cerebellum and also saw chris's latest pic of luke on Instagram...google dandy walker syndrom..see how the head is swollen out in back..thats because cysts and fluid build up where the cerebellum is small..they can have few symtoms to many life threatening ones with this syndrom..praying hes fine and this isnt the problem ..either way he has a loving nurturing family that will help him and love him no matter what..luke you are beautiful 💙🙏

I'm wondering if he has trisomy 18/Edward's syndrome. That would explain the strange shape of his head as well as the brain abnormalities. I've attached a diagram that shows the features of a trisomy 18 baby.

Generally babies with Trisomy 18 are diagnosed with it anywhere from their 12 scan to their 20 week scan, i feel like if he did have that they would know, its incompatible with life and babies either die inside the womb or not long after.

I really hope he doesn't have that!
