Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
I just do not understand what prize she thinks she has won with Corbin.
He has zero work ethic. He short cuts everything and does the bare minimum to exist. He quit a job that had a possibility of being well paying to do nothing. He acts like tending to his own home is hard work. He has to have his way when it comes to everything. He is not attractive at all. Between the neck beard, stupid haircuts and his horrific whiney voice it would be like built in birth control. He barely acknowledges Kelsey's existence unless it is to be a human incubator to his spawn and then a feeding station. Other than that he is the only parent. I love that they have to dictate chores as a couple. Like I remember when they lived in the California home and they did a video about routines lol it was something siblings do. Like if I clean this you do this and it was kept up on a list on the fridge who did what.... like grown adults don't need that. My husband and i are equals and we do what needs to be done without saying "nope sorry but I took morning rounds."
It's like Kelsey had low self esteem and Corbin preyed on that. He dumped her after high school because he thought he was going to get some college vagina and then when all the girls were as repulsed by him as we are, he went back and told Kelsey that she could be his again. Like a little doormat she agreed.
The only way Kelsey is going to get to experience any first with this baby is if it is a girl. Corbin will put and slip in how disappointed he is that it isn't a boy any chance he gets. Kelsey will take it like the good little doormat she is and she will spend the rest of her life apologizing for not giving him his boy.
If he gets his boy, her only importance will go back to feeding and that is it. He will go back to doing all the first with a son.

Okay, so I don't put any real stock in astrological signs, but I find them interesting to read about. This is Corbin's. I have never read a more apt description in my life.

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
My ex was like that. He figured out how many hours it took to do things around the house, and made a list. And we divided it up to be "equal". Then said that since he chose to go to night school for 8 hours a week and that was going to "improve our life" (he's never used the courses he took) that it counted as one of his "chores"
One of the many reasons he's my ex.

Another boring Q&A.
For me, these bozos have one thing going for them, which is that I am so SICK of all of the religious and conservative youtubers. It is very refreshing to me that K&C are liberal hipsters. I definitely wish they were more educated about their positions, but it was very good to hear them mention in their Q&A that they were concerned about global warming and the political climate. Corbin also reference AOC, though not by name, which I got a little chuckle out of.
Totally realize that this speaks to me because I share their concerns, and that not everyone here might feel the same way. I just feel like most youtubers are purposefully vague about their positions, and that has always bothered me.

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
WTF was Corby's little rant about global warming in today's video? If he cares THAT MUCH about it then they shouldn't have another kid. He referenced AOC, but didn't seem to know her actual name—there was big edit in there. I think Corbin is a headline reader/skimmer and not really a news person. They are pretty flaky about their actual news knowledge.
And now he's backtracking about being OK with having a girl? Whatever, liar.... He's definitely the biggest DOUCHE of all the YT douches.
They are definitely going to postpone, lie and play up the gender reveal for WEEKS.
They are just getting painful to watch.

It wouldn't bother me as much if they were not absolute hypocrites. They're trying to put off a persona of being So Woke, yet can't be bothered to use cloth diapers, which definitely cut back on landfill waste. They don't work outside of the home, it's really not that big of a deal to wash and dry an extra load of clothes.sasha186 wrote:Another boring Q&A.

This! I thought the placement of those questions were hilarious. Oh so worried about Global Warming.. fuck cloth diapering too hard. Like come on.. you do absolutely nothing all day. How hard can it be.spiralstatic wrote:It wouldn't bother me as much if they were not absolute hypocrites. Oh, it is absolutely a persona that they are putting on - not to say that they aren't actually concerned about those things, but that they are uneducated and all talk. They said that their generation wasn't making a big different politically or running for office (not actually true), but I doubt they are calling their representatives to voice their opinions or engaging politically in any other way.Steps_to_STFU wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 8:20 amThis! I guess what I'm trying to say is that I appreciate that they are up front about their beliefs, rather than dodging questions about them or never bringing them up because they don't want to admit they voted for Trump, which I feel like is the case for many, many youtubers.

Not that it really matters, but there are actually 26 members of the House who are "millennials." AOC gets the bulk of the media attention, but I really think Katie Hill from CA is equally impressive.
Corbin just likes to follow trends. He's a basic bitch. I'm wondering if he actually didn't say AOC's name so as not to offend his conservative fans??! Honestly, he probably doesn't care at all about politics or global warming, but just thinks she's hot. That would not surprise me AT ALL!

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
I think they’re going to for sure read the sex results from the cell-free DNA screening, but they aren’t going to share it on the channel immediately. They’re going to wait so they can drag it out. The gender reveal typically has a high view count, I think they want to save it for when they need the money.
Corbin’s biggest fear about having a second child is global warming? And then politics? Okay then. Never mind the fact that neither of them has a real job, or a stable employment history, or a marketable skill, or likely anything in savings. But sure, global warming it is. I think they’ve been almost as vague about their politics as other YouTubers who don’t want to alienate any potential viewers. And I agree that neither of them is interested in anything beyond skimming headlines. And regardless of what they purport to believe, their actions speak volumes. They sit at home all day doing nothing of value and take zero responsibility for their family. I wonder where they would be if they didn’t have parents to bail them out. Their response to that question is so revealing about how lacking they are in self-awareness and humility. Sure, there’s nothing wrong with thinking big picture. But if you asked most parents or parents to be, I think the first worries would be about the affect a second child will have on their work/life balance, time management, their marriage, their relationship with their older children, etc. But Kelsey and Corbin never think they personally could ever have any shortcomings.
“I actually really want the kids to share a room.” Yeah, no shit, you bought a two-bedroom house.

If he was _really_ concerned about global warming, he wouldn't have bought a car when they lived in Portland, it gotten that stupid big house in CA. And all the food truck dining. More trash. I will bet they don't compost, or even recycle unless they have curbside pickup.
Their carbon footprint is plenty big.
And yes, having another child definitely puts a burden on resources. Why not adopt? (As if they could get approved) or do foster care? Can you imagine?

Well, Corbin, the self-described "Mexican" who doesn't seem to speak any Spanish, probably loves her Latina looks. Serious eyeroll for his extreme douchyness. And, yes, he has in the past said he's Mexican.sasha186 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 10:13 amNot to mention an extremely smart and accomplished millennial presidential candidate.ewokfan11 wrote: ↑Tue Apr 02, 2019 10:06 am Not that it really matters, but there are actually 26 members of the House who are "millennials." I agree, Pete is a great candidate...but he might have to wait. He's unfortunately too much of a risk if people really want Trump out. Sad, but true, I think many people over 50-ish are still a bit homophobic and those are the people that are the most reliable to vote. OOPS! Sorry to talk too much politics in a silly YTer thread! LOL!

I crack up when he tries to say he's Mexican! He tries to say "Tortillas" with an accent, but he just sounds like a whiny white boy trying to speak Spanish! He's ridiculous! And acting like June getting her ears pierced as a baby was part of "his culture" oh my gosh, you can't make this shit up!ewokfan11 wrote:Well, Corbin, the self-described "Mexican" who doesn't seem to speak any Spanish, probably loves her Latina looks. No, he’s totally really in touch with his Mexican side, and definitely speaks Spanish, that’s why June calls him Papa instead of Daddy, and says agua instead of water Poser...lavenderlove wrote:I crack up when he tries to say he's Mexican! In Cal there was an incident with a lamp switching on and off! When they moved into the (shoe that had so many chicks they didn’t know what to do) they had an uneasy feeling it was haunted. They now get a triple 6 postcode! Baby will be due on Halloween?!
I would be getting some serious garlic fuming in there! Not that I believe but lol! Hope we don’t hear Damian as an option name but NOT!

Yep...44 yrs old and born Oct 30th/missed Halloween by an hour. There is not enough space in this forum to tell you how traumatizing it has been for me. All the orange and black decorated parties growing up! The way people barely acknowledge my special day because there just all focused on witches, goblins, and costumes. I mean TBH l am still in therapy working through it all. These two are something else!lmmomSD wrote:I was in labor on Halloween. My daughter went trick or treating with her daycare provider who kept her overnight. Know what? She was 2 and doesn't remember it. It's not a big deal. My son missed being a Halloween baby by 26 minutes. June would be just fine trick or treating with Grandma. They don't last long at that age anyway.ewokfan11 wrote:A Halloween baby? LOL! Corbin's reaction was odd. He HATES his birthday being the day after Christmas and he pouts about it every.damn.year!
I wouldn't be surprised if they try to induce early for selfish reasons...like Juniper getting to celebrate her "favorite" holiday. They made it sounds like Halloween is cancelled if the baby arrives on/near that day. These two really don't know how to do more than one thing at a time. Plus, it's just a 2-year-old trick-or-treating for about 30 minutes—someone else can take her.
That makes me wonder if they are planning to enroll her in preschool in the fall.

They better get things straightened out quick...Kelsey needs all the crapewokfan11 wrote:Did anyone else catch when Kelsey mentioned she has a "friend" with a birthday around Halloween. Well, well, well...that would be Missy (10/27)! She's been mentioning Missy (and not my name) a lot lately.
Maybe they started getting closer again after Kelsey got pregnant????
Also, Kelsey has ONE friend and Corbin has ZERO friends. That's pretty sad.
For this baby the Missy bought for June. I am not a particularly huge Daily Bumps/Missy fan...but the way people (especially Kelsey/Corbin) seemed to take advantage of Missy did make sad for the poor girl.

Re: Steps to faking followers and fertility issues | Part #6
Agreed. Don’t know if you watched at all when they were engaged and planning their wedding but for lack of a better way to put it, she seemed to be more full of life back then. She also came across as a bit more openly willing to share her point of view in life in a way that never struck me as ditzy at all. Of course it’s purely suspicion and an observation from the outside looking in, but l think he is gradually wearing here down and doing what emotionally toxic husbands do... make their wives feel small.Theirmom wrote:The most annoying thing, for me, is that I think Kelsey *could* be a successful content creator on her own.
Yes, she’s ditzy, but I don’t think she’s as dumb as she appears. I think some of it is to placate Corbin. I notice sometimes she’ll say a a correct thing, Corbin will say an incorrect thing, she’ll backtrack what she said to agree with him, and then just be all “oh, I don’t know” and let Corbin be “right”.
She’s pretty enough, and likes artsy things. She could easily have her own crafty mom channel, and probably be moderately successful. “Knit with Me” live-streams, hipster thrift store makeovers, mommy-and-me craft projects, gardening tips.
Vlogging is dead. People want real, unscripted content, but not in vlog form. They want useful, informative entertainment. That’s why Maker Youtubers, podcasts and live-streams do so well now.
So, that long winded post to say, Kelsey could have a modestly successful channel if she never let Corbin appear on camera.
