I can't blame them for getting rid of the rooster. We've had 3 during our time with chickens and I can honestly say I'd immediately rehome any as soon as we discovered it was a rooster and not a hen. They can be extremely aggressive and harm both children and adults. Also, where they live it may be against city ordinance to have roosters.

That pussy would not have slaughtered the chicken himself. There are services that will do it for you. It is strange however that he had to point out it made chicken soup. I dunno, they're both so fucking stupid.

It is surprising she still has three months. She is so BIG! I don't know why, but she looks fairly unhealthy. Something about her face being so puffy. I guess that could be normal.
Hasn't she said she gained too much weight with June? It seems like she's already bigger than her entire first pregnancy.
I think she's just not exercising at all.
I wonder why they took June out of swim. It's summertime.

It's kind of gross they used killing the rooster as clickbait. They could have just never mentioned it. I would have been fine never knowing what happened to the rooster...and I HIGHLY doubt people were even asking.
Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
I think her face is a little puffy but honestly her face looking old is more concerning. I noticed it in her morning routine video. For being in her 20’s she has a lot of wrinkles. Mostly on her forehead and they are getting deep. Her mother also looks super old for her age. Maybe it’s genetic? I’m not sure how old her mom is but she looks 60.rosie_dalia wrote:It is surprising she still has three months. She is so BIG! I don't know why, but she looks fairly unhealthy. Who knows how old Kelsey's Mom is? I know when my mom was Kelsey's age my grandmother was 64. My grandmother always looked far younger then she was though. She was 80 when she passed away and she didn't look a day over 60.TellAll wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 5:55 pmI think her face is a little puffy but honestly her face looking old is more concerning. Her mom had a hysterectomy several years ago. I think that can seriously age women. I think she might be in her 50s, but who knows. And, yes, it could also be genetics. They also seem to have a lot of sun damage on their faces.TellAll wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 5:55 pmI think her face is a little puffy but honestly her face looking old is more concerning. Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
Wow. Missy's period, Kelsey's mom's hysterectomy, Kelsey's progesterone levels-- we know way too much about the reproductive systems of strangers. I'm no prude, and I definitely think there shouldn't be a stigma around having a period (I do draw the line at parties celebrating a girl's first menses) but I just think there is a bit of over share going on. Maybe I am just old...

Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
I must be old too. When my 13-year-old son told me that one of the girls at school was having a party because she got her period for the first time I was like what that’s an actual thing? I looked at my 10 and 6 year old daughters and said sorry you both will not be getting a party when that happens unless it’s a pity party for having to deal with cramps, bloating and mood swings for 30+ years.lmmomSD wrote:Wow. Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
Period parties? I guess with the internet things are really different now. I remember I went to the library with a friend to read a BOOK about puberty...and I'm not even that old, LOL! (35). Kids these days can just Google or YT everything!
I think they are sending June to Montessori daycare. I wonder how much that costs.

Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
The premature aging is her family is especially troubling when Kelsey says that June spends most of her time in the summer outdoors alone and now Kelsey thinks sunscreen is "bad for you" or whatever nonsense she's misinterpreting.
Kelsey said she gained 50 pounds during her first pregnancy, which is excessive. It was in a video where she claimed she was going to be healthier during this second pregnancy and do things differently. I believe 25-35 lbs total is the standard recommended range they give you if you're at a normal BMI. There's no way she's going to stay within that. I'm 33 weeks and I know how much weight I've gained and what it looks like on my frame. My face is fuller, my chest is a little bit bigger, and it looks like I have a soccer ball under my shirt, but my arms, legs, etc. look the same as they did pre-pregnancy. So I'm guessing she's well on her way to another 50+ pound weight gain.
Is there anything they've said that indicates that they are sending her to a Montessori daycare? I doubt they could afford it.

I hope her blood pressure is ok. All that puffiness could be pre-eclampsia. Although if she actually had that, Corbin would be milking it for views.

Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
They've mentioned Montessori in the past and I looked up their local place and they do have a program for kids June's age and they were also running a summer camp when they visited the school (which Corbin mentioned). Maybe it's just a coincidence, but I wouldn't be surprised if that's where she's going. Maybe his parents are paying? The tuition wasn't listed on their website.HashtagBlessed wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 6:53 am Is there anything they've said that indicates that they are sending her to a Montessori daycare? Wherever they are sending her is going to cost money. There are no public preschools. Idaho doesn't even require public schools to offer kindergarten.

Ah, got it. I suppose half-day partial week tuition wouldn't cost all that much, especially where they live. I think Kelsey mentioned they'd only be sending her one day a week. They'll need to provide immunization records, so that could be interesting if they haven't been vaccinating her.rosie_dalia wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 9:53 amThey've mentioned Montessori in the past and I looked up their local place and they do have a program for kids June's age and they were also running a summer camp when they visited the school (which Corbin mentioned). I think preschool for Montessori is only $3000-$4000 a year for PT preschool. That's not that much. I think daycare would be about the same.webbygurl626 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2019 2:14 pmOh its expensive especially a Montessori program!HashtagBlessed wrote:Ah, got it. Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
Yeah, I have no idea what preschool costs in Boise. I only know what full-time daycare costs where I live, which is more than my monthly mortgage payment. For one day a week, for half a day, I can't imagine it's more than $150-$300 a month? That's still probably expensive for these two. But I have no idea how they stay afloat and pay their existing bills as it is.
Re: Steps to covering up your failure | Steps to Wander | Part 7
i think mentally she may be in a worse place too. at least the van trip was exciting, they were starting their new lives in portland etc. but now she's stuck in idaho, broke in a tiny house about to have a second kid with a dude who is as much of a controlling asshole about parenting as everything else.rosie_dalia wrote: ↑Tue Jul 23, 2019 3:49 pm From what I recall, Kelsey also hated being pregnant with June, so maybe she just hates being pregnant. This time she did stop exercising immediately and she's obviously gained A LOT more weight. She was still running (or at least out and walking) while pregnant with June up until her due date—they didn't even have a car back then.
Also, they moved out of the van around 21 weeks with June, so she really can't say it was van life that made her pregnancy terrible.
Personally, I think it's her weight gain that's making her uncomfortable. She looks about the same as 8 months preggo with June, but she's only 6-ish.
