Sorry for the double post, Ladies.
I have to say, I'm absolutely blown away with the fact that she took assistance from a tribe when she just bought a shiny new refrigerator, bought an extra vacuum (yes, we saw it, girl), another new rug, new bedding for Savannah, goes on a road trip to Arizona, eats out 3-4 nights a week, buys endless cheap tennis shoes and garage sale junk, has an LV bag, yet has the gall to ask for tribal assistance for homeschooling. They should have denied her based on income alone since there are so many Native American families that seriously could use the help. I am absolutely astounded and disgusted at the nerve of that woman. Taking from the poor is not a good look. Be better than that, Ashley.
Is this one of her 'dills'? Another way to save that Almighty dollar? My biggest question is: What will Ashely do for her tribe in return or in what way will she honor her Cherokee brothers and sisters?
I think she said she was from the Creek tribe. Which is a tribe that is less well of financially which makes her receiving aid even worse....
Thank you for the correction on the Tribe name, I think I got Cherokee from a conversation I had with one of her followers. The whole thing is just so exploitative on her part.
Poor Chase, gatorade is gross! Ashely sure has a heart of gold, doesn't she?

This is angering, I’m 1/2 Cherokee and I’m embarrassed for us!!! Ashley is not a true Cherokee, she is just a two bit user!! Our people haven’t researched her because we aren’t like that, but her using our systems and gloating about it is not something our tribe thinks highly of... she can get into some trouble and embarrassment if she is caught deceiving the Tribe!!

You’re welcome. And of course she has a heart of gold—to match the gold accents in her house. Lol
I began watching this woman out of curiosity because I honestly couldn't see why 80K people would watch a woman basically post the same cleaning video day after day. And. . . I still don't get it. But god forbid you try to post any constructive criticism because now apparently they have hired someone to read their comments first and she "doesn't even see" any negative ones. I mean people threatening you or something is one thing, but she won't even see any comments that aren't all gushy and positive or show a polite difference of opinion? Yeah way to live in a bubble snookums. Just block out anyone who might nicely disagree with you or point out a different but equally valid opinion. I posted a polite but inquiring comment once about why we never see her daughter clean her own messes up- like EVER. A few others noticed too (my post had nearly 100 likes) so obviously this was a legit issue for people. Pretty much a day or two later Ashely posts an emotional video addressing all the "haters" who commented about her daughter never picking up her own messes. She went on and on and on. If you can't handle any critique of your work or videos, then you have no business being a youtuber. You can't live in a bubble where you only listen or hear from those who love everything you do or who believe exactly as you do. That's half the problem in America these days- no one talks to anyone who might have a different opinion.
I'd love to point out that she and her family are headed for health problems up the ying yang because of their pitiful diet of carbs with cheese and cheese with carbs and meat and meat with carbs and carbs with carbs and. . . her daughter looks all pasty and sick from a lack of any fresh food at all just about. But I guess I will not waste my time commenting to her as she will never see it and continue to live in a bubble. It's pretty easy to chop a few raw veggies or throw a pre-made salad on a plate even if you don't like to cook.
I went back and listened to the Q&A again (just the Native American part). She said she’s a 1/4 Creek and they have always got help with Savannah’s school (I guess since she chooses to pay for homeschool curriculum), but they have never gotten much. I totally missed the part with helping pay for Savannah’s schooling and getting money from the tribe. I strongly disagree with this as well.
I also took a second and found out her maiden name. It literally took a second due to her wedding announcement. That was a nice giggle. I don’t think people should be made of due to their names, but seeing how Ashley is and acts this made me giggle !

How could I forget this, posty notes! She is saying that right? Does she think that’s cute? Ugh
I have heard them being called post it notes and sticky notes. I guess “posty notes” could be a combination of the two or it is just one of her weird pronunciations like EVERN.
I heard it say posty notes in another video too, but I wondered if I heard her wrong.

It's amazing what a quick google search can reveal! And ya, even her location! So, who's all up for an intervention? And YES, that is quite the maiden name to have! Sure, it's not her fault but c'mon.... lol

I think the whole "dont like to cook" thing excuse is bullshit. Plenty of parents dont like to cook but they still come home (after their legit job) and get a yummy, healthy meal on the table because you know...they want to live past 40. No, fast food is not the devil once in awhile and even some restaurants will serve healthy meals. But for goodness sake, even a hand formed patty at home is better than the flash frozen crap you get at McDonald's. Throw some baked potatoes in the oven, boil some corn on the cob and boom, dinner done in an hour. It has nothing to do with not liking to cook, Ashley is just lazy. Pure and simple.
Throw some chicken in a pot, cover with water, add spices and cook up some noodles....wait, that sounds like actual WORK that dear Ashley simply does not have time for! How can she read and respond to comments (and read on here) while she has to lovingly prepare a meal for her 3 people family! GUYS! It's just NOT POSSIBLE!!
I'm absolutely shocked to see her drive to town all by herself without Chase! How many times does that poor man drive home from work, pick them up, and then turn back around and drive to town to get dinner. He must be knocking on death's door. Lol

For someone who tries to portray herself as the perfect wife and Mom who always keeps the house clean and organized, homeschools, frugal shopper, etc, you’d think she’d at least try to cook to round out that perfect persona. I’m not expecting her to cook gourmet “mills” or anything but at least try family favorites and classic comfort foods.
It kind of makes me sad. Food is a joy in life. They are wasting it on cardboard pizza and overcooked noodles from Olive Garden with marinara sauce that tastes like dirt. Oh, and let's not forget the processed snack cakes. I HATE it when a youtuber takes a bite of something and then shows it to us. That's your saliva and germs that you're showing me! Nasty.

I wonder if she would wear a fan made shirt that said 'Betch, please!' ??
I don’t remember the exact rules and I’m not a mod, but I don’t think we are supposed to post last names if the person hasn’t given out the info on their channel or is trying to keep it private. I know it’s really easy to google their names, etc., but it feels wrong to see it here. That’s my opinion and like I said, I’m not sure if it’s a rule here or not. I realize I brought up her maiden name too (she mentioned the topic in an old video), but I didn’t post it.

Somebody should send her a cookbook for people who have "no time."
I thought that was the point of Home Chef? When people don't care, they legit don't "have time"! lol I truly believe she has depression. That can cause alot of what we see on camera. Her true blackness is showing, since she obviously doesn't like colors!

I think she has some depression and anxiety issues too. The slightest things seems to stress her out and daily life seems to be just too much her. I'm not going to knock he rfor not liking to cook because I hate it too. But I do it anyway because we can't afford to eat out every night. But they eat way too much frozen pizza. I have about 10 go to MEALS (not Mills) that I can get done in about 30 minutes and most of them make left overs. It's not that hard. My life is way more stressful than hers but I still do it. At least the home chef meals have fresh ingredients and they re easy. They could to more of that.
Today's video, another snooze fest. I don't understand why people can't just enjoy family outings without filming everything for YT or social media. You're not enjoying those moments with your family, you're missing out by being behind the camera. Is filming all of this for her subs more important to her? When I go on vacation I give my family my full attention, yes I take photos of those special moments to share with my friends and other family on FB (after I get home) and to keep for myself but I would never film it and worry about strangers seeing it.
She also had to mention that she knew her new subs were going to ask about her glasses, that she got them off of fb. Who cares where she got her ugly glasses from. No one cares Ashley, only you do.. Video is not worth wasting those precious minutes watching it. lol

That's exactly my point. You hate to cook but you still do it!
I just started watching her "How I plan my days" video. Did she seriously justify spending a bunch of money out shopping by saying she's God's tool and he used her to spend money?? I used to love her videos, but she's starting to sound like a total wack job with all this "God's using me to do this and to spend this and blah blah blah."
I'm not religious at all and I used to be able to just skim over it, but she's seriously starting to get weird and creepy with it. What does she tell Chase when he comes home and looks at everything she bought, that God told her it was okay to spend money??
She also seemed really sad/off in the beginning. I really think she's starting to get burnt out and needs to take a mental health break. It's okay to step back for a little while.
