Exactly. When my daughter was little she had recurrent out of hours episodes of croup-like symptoms. We had to take her to the out of hours doctor a few times in one week - out of hours GP service and not ER. The out of hours GP emailed our own GP and asked him to see us. They started oral steroids and an inhaler as a trial for asthma to see if it helped improve the situation. It did within days and they placed her on an extended dose of oral steroids and inhalers to get in top of it. She remained an two inhalers - a preventer and reliever - for many years. Now she only uses a reliever but when she gets a cold she has to back on both for a period of weeks. The last time she needed oral steroids as well. She’s now 18.
They don’t follow anything through and I’m not sure if the US health care system allows for sharing of information easily between professionals. Wherever I’m seen my entire medical history can be accessed by my doctors etc - with my consent, of course. This is hugely beneficial because frequency of visits, reasons for attending, outcomes etc can automatically be seen.

HIPAA makes things different but they should have continued to be followed by the doctors from the hospital they were in the NICU. I suspect they don't because it would be harder to hide their negligence.

Unfortunately I think you are right. When I began to suspect my eldest child was on the autistic spectrum at around 3, I would have moved heaven and earth to have early intervention for her. In fact, moving heaven and earth might have been easier! I didn’t give up until we had the services in place to try and secure a more positive outcome for her.
Every ounce of energy I had went into doing so. I’m not an exception. Most parents I know would do the same and I know for sure that many parents here have done exactly the same.
I just can’t understand why the Gardners aren’t out there tackling things head on; anticipating the problems before they even happen. The most stupid thing is that they wouldn’t lose viewers as a result. In fact, I’m sure many people would be interested in following their story.
They could be doing such an enormous amount of good by highlighting the difficulties of premature quads and the possible health issues that can ensue.
Their lives must feel totally empty and unfulfilled!

Vlog today: Indie gets (someone put) gum in her hair. Trash acts like it's a croup saga - but finds out from her Seneshit mule, Amandduuhh, that lemon oil takes gum out. Voila, it works. Trash washes Indie's hair. Gets Oakland on the phone to waste all free time he has hanging on the phone with cats.
Trash locks the deck door so Bison can't get in - (Best part of vlog) Winter is hard for Trashley because she doesn't like being cooped up. No, I think anytime your kids are around you, it's sooo hard, anytime of year. Trash is patting herself on the back - she made chicken in the Instapot and is ALSO boiling noodles. Another crazy, busy, day in the life of airhead Trashley.

I can’t bear the cinema. I cannot see how clean the seats or floors are. The thoughts of taking a blanket from home to the cinema and contaminating it with dirtiness from the cinema, horrifies me every time I see them do it!

I often think the same. It goes back unwashed, germ filled in the cupboard with the rest of them, all ready for them the next time they use it or for a visitor to use. It seriously makes me cringe.

Regarding the pull-ups in the ER vlog, Ash was sitting on Ev’s hospital bed and said your pull up is wet? Then she turned to the camera and said I bet it is, she’s been drinking a lot of orange juice. Then she continued to talk to the camera while her 5 year old sat in a wet diaper.

Finally found it! Favie says, "my diaper is wet." Even worse! What 5 year old isn't embarrassed to be in a "diaper" because they think they are a big girl. Normally a 5 year old would call it a pull up. Crazy!
