I'm not in th US but, apart from the fact that she left her baby while she went out of the building to see Phil, which I'm assuming under the current Covid rules she shouldn't have done, Has Phil parked in a spot designated for drivers picking up discharged patients? Image

Cassidy looks very skinny to me. I’m not super familiar with cardiac babies but I feel like her face looks sunken and she just looks ..frail?

Or maybe she’s like Myka stauffer and every single thing she presents is a lie. Myka did the same thing...she researched what was popular and decided to follow the trend for views. Maybe Alex is the same way?
Alex has described Myka as her best friend before in a video. They are both Class A narcissists. Very smart, very calculating, very intentional with what they show on camera.
I definitely would not call either of those women very smart. Myka even borders on very very stupid.

Phil and Alex: Struggling With Maternity After Laboring For Eternity | Part 10

My 11 week old baby feeds about 8 times a day and I estimate she takes at least 3oz each time (based on how much I pump the one time a day I do that). She’s a good weight and I am not trying to plump her up.
I’m convinced that Cassidy should be having more than 21oz/day. If it’s going into a feeding tube, it is the feeder that determines the amount, not the baby.

I’d be fascinated to see what the hospital has told them to do.

Also, why is she building a stash? It’s not like she is going back to work any time soon. Maybe it’s for Phil to feed Cassidy while Alex sleeps??? These 2 confuse me.

I feel like Alex just wants to show off her “stash” of milk. She wants to prove that her body is capable of SOMETHING since it isn’t capable of getting pregnant, growing a healthy baby, or laboring naturally.

All things that, if she had it her way, she’d have been bragging about for years.

I wonder if her bitter jealousy of women who could more easily become mothers made her see any mention of pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding as bragging... and now that it’s “her turn” she’s showing off and thinking this is normal behavior.

But in reality, other women just sort of vaguely mention these things, and Phil and Alex have to make a giant deal out of it all

Also: I think she keeps putting up these question boxes to other moms because she finally feels like she’s in some special club she always wanted to be in, even though she doesn’t care what other people say

Why is everything a competition with her?

Is X amount enough breast milk pumped? Is my garden good enough?

Who cares, it is what it is. People aren’t put on this earth to validate her.

Safe sleeping this is not. I really hope Alex was in the room while this happened and didn’t walk in and find it.
This makes me so anxious.

She's asking on IG "What to do about those Beatles?" 😂 Which ones, Alex? John, Paul, George, or Ringo?
Lord she's dumb!

Why does she write her name on her milk? Is it so it doesn't go missing or someone steals it LOL 😂 Also who cares how much milk you have pumped.

I expect she got in the habit of doing it while Cassidy was in the NICU. I did with my son and continued when I came home! Also, this may hint at why she’s stashing it. Possibly, so that she can have some ready at the hospital when Cassidy goes in for her operation.

Do you remember which vlog it was when Alex said Myka is her best friend ? She doesn't talk about her much I wonder if they're still friends behind the scenes.
I saw in the latest vlog she washed the bottles in the hospital sink.... I'm so paranoid of germs it would freak me out even if it was cleaned. She didn't change her clothes after they got home either - I'd have thrown all the clothes in the washer and showered as soon as we got home ! But they all were fine after so maybe I'm the paranoid one ! Lol

Alex didnt know the Berlin Wall reference?? WTF And she’s homeschooling her kids??? It’s a VERY famous line! Dumb fuck!

I USED to think nurses were smart... Alex proves there are dumb ass nurses, they ones who barely passed. Ha.. wonder how many times she had to take her boards?

Phil’s IG story... check it out

That's not their vehicle. It could be he's parked a few spots over. I know looking at the parking garage not many cars are in there so he most likely did get a close spot. My local children's hospital is next to the children's clinic. Both parking lots pre covid were always packed. Now both are easy to get close spots.

So in the recent vlog Alex is saying how nicu nurses know how to feed babies and proceeds to go on a rant about how it’s not good to force feed, umm they why on earth was she force feeding her? She admitted to trying to force feedings on when they were home so she must have been the most useless nurse ever, I wish some former colleagues would tell how working with her was really like!

So Alex keeps making it a point to say Cassidy is running a marathon while other babies are sitting by the pool. She says that feeding is exhausting for her, which I def believe is true for a cardiac baby.... maybe this isn’t a valid concern but if the energy output to feed is too much for them, wouldn’t sucking on a paci be just as exhausting to the baby which is non-nutritive so it’s basically just expending energy with no real benefit?

It's more of a fine line. I'm thinking the milk/reflex causes pain so there for with milk in her mouth she will freak out. Both of my kids had silent reflex. My oldest it resulted in them wanting to eat all the time. My youngest would arch and scream as soon as they realized milk was in their mouth. Now mine weren't cardiac but the sucking soothed the feeling but in youngest newborn brain milk caused pain. We switched formulas to finally get it figured out for my kid and added meds.

But I do have to say her whole rant about feeding a baby on their side is ironic since they seem to just set the pump to tube feed Unicorn and lay her flat on the floor. Not even a little upright in her bouncy set or hell holding her and bonding.

No this isn’t regarding the reflux. My question is regarding cardiac babies bodies working harder/expending more energy on every day tasks. This was something Alex talked about before reflux was ever talked about.
