I don't know if I'm reliable enough.. but I think that her family (dad, stepmom, siblings...) was going through a rough time financially (that's why she gave back the money that her dad promised her for Hazzel) I think she said something before Christmas, also she has a full-house. It's not just her and her parents.. I have no idea about technicalities like checks for foster kids etc. but her mom on the 25th of january posted this on facebook:

Okay. Then I guess her whole family is so obviously they can't help her with Hazzel, not that they should, I mean she is Haylee's responsibility. I don't have a problem with the way they're handling things. She's a teen mom, there are gonna be financial hardships. By the way, I don't mean this directed meanly towards anyone, but I saw someone on here ask how can you live in such a nice home and then complain about being in debt, just downsize. Since my family went through this, I guess I could weigh in. The market SUCKS right now so it's hard to sell. I know people that tried to sell their house and in the end, the bank had to forclose. For some, it's easier to just keep paying the bills when you can. My family spent like four years adding an addition onto our house and we hit really hard financial times afterwards. My parents don't want to sell our house even though it still gets bad at times because of the market and because of how much money they've put into it. We did it so WE could finally enjoy something nice, not go back to the way things were before. So maybe that's why her family keeps their house? Plus I've never seen it since she took down the tour video, but perhaps it's not as nice as it looks. Idk. I normally don't spend this much time defending these moms, especially since I rarely watch Haylee, but it just seems like this is something easily explained in today's economy. At least they're working and trying to get out of all of it you know?
It also depends on how much you need the immediate money and how much you would have to sell your house short. With such big family they can't possibly live in a 2 bedroom apartment, I don't think she even disclosed if they are on mortgage, rent, they own it.. But if it's worth 100 and in this crappy market you'd get the best bid of 10.. I don't know how many would be willing to be so much ripped off and not try anything else before giving up the house.
At least that's what's going on in my area. Maybe there can be some difference in situation - not because I want to meddle into anyone's financial stuff, I'm just making hypotheses - if you live in a very central area and you own a big house, you can move more towards the outskirts of your city and downsize a just little, because maybe you get a decent price on your house, because of the nice area. But it depends on so many things, and mostly on the market value for that particular house (do they live in California? I don't know anything about how things are in that state re:real estate)
Anyway, just to say that it's easier said than done. I went through that myself, and when you absolutley have to sell the house you most likely end up being ripped off anyway, when it comes to how much the house was worth it. Also counting the moving expenses (they're not cheap) etc. It really has to be a good deal.
I guess I was just speaking from experience. A lot of people around where I live who are my moms age (43ish) live in huge houses with 2-3 children and can't afford it. They pay off bills constantly, get their car taken away, have to continuously borrow money and are in debt. My mom always tell them to downgrade and they just say no. And there's people my age (22) who also have "bills" to pay off and such. And I am just surprised. I understand the medical bills are one thing, yes. But all else seems hazy especially when Haylee said she gave her dad 11 grand and he spent it all quickly. Also, I'm the kind of person (and my family is) that would never take money from my children even if they offered and I need it. I think you should support your children, not the other way around. I know it may be hard to sell a house, not want to live in a small area, try and pay bills but what really got me off was when she said the 11 grand was gone. If the needed that much money that fast, then I think you need to do something. Priorities need to be made. My family and I had to live with my grandparents in a storage building for 3 years because things got hard, but they did that so things wouldn't get THAT hard for them.

Hey! so I blocked this site on my laptop because everyone is aloud an opinion and not everyone thinks highly of me and I don't enjoy looking at things that are agents me , but a subscriber has been messaging a lot of questions that come up on guru gossiper and when it involved my parents money issues I thought I could clear things up. I gave them back the money because at the time me and albert didn't need the help because Hazzel was only going once a month to therapy witch we could afford at the time. Once her torticollis got worse we have to take her once a week now, so ends are barely meeting for me and albert, Yes I get a check from my real mother dying but she never worked so the check is low its 113 a month, I'm grateful for the money but its not as high as everyone thinks. My parents do take care of me and they never took money the money was theres to begin with, they were in debt because my mom is in and out of court, and some medical problems. My parents get no money for adopting my cousins, there dad doesn't pay and he doesn't do his taxes so the state cant "find" him to get child support, my mom sent him the address of where he works but there not doing anything about it -.- as for selling our house, my parents up grade the house to get more money out of it, last time we were going to move it sold in 2 days because it is a beautiful house! (my parents did a great job) but we had to stay to get custody of William and Jackie, things have evened out for my parents and yes there still in debt but who isn't in this time? this summer we are going to be moving to a place with bigger houses and cheaper then here in Colorado! (Arizona) My parents own this house and are going to own a new one once we sell this one, because my dad was in the army its easy and fast plus my dads credit is perfect. my dad takes care of everything now there is just your typical bill, car payments, mortgage, internet, cable, and credit card. Why can't I apply for Medicaid? because I live with my parents and since I'm not married yet so they go off of what my dad makes, and we don't qualify for that or WIC once I'm married albert will be joining the military so hopefully things will work out! I hope this clears things up, right now I'm using my cousins laptop so I will be leaving now and most likely not coming back if you have ANY questions just ask, but thank you for your kind words I hope you all have a great day.

i just wanted to say that i did go back and watch some of haylee's videos on her old channel and her moms, and i did appoligize personally for that post, she cant takeit if she wants, but i just wanted to ask @jazzystar, why do you come on here, its a place for people to gossip, so why come here just to run back to haylee with everything everyone says, if you dont like it why bother? if she said she doent wantt to read it why go and send her people say? Not that i care if she sees it obviously but its just odd that you basically just stick on her post and veer off to say things about tayler and defend vanessa but thats about it? and what exactly made u change ur mind so much about aleiasteenmama? you didnt like her because of all her parenting choices then a month later shes one of your favorites?

I come here for the gossip! I really enjoy it, I like haylee and if I see comments that even I want and explanation in, I ask and Haylee always replies I do the same thing with multiple moms, I just normally not comment because its better to read unless I want to ask the users on guru gossip if something happened or not, & the same thing with you, you made a mean comment about Haylees mom and after watching her you take the comment back, I really watched nikoles videos and I happen to really like her we might not agree on many things but that doesn't make her a bad mom.(:

Hailee is doing a better job then some other YouTube teen moms out there...she is 17 a minor meaning she has every right to still live with her parents...why fix something that's not broken..holy hell ..
First of all the only things that should be drunk from a bottle are water and milk. Juice from a bottle can cause horrendous tooth decay - ask your dentist.
Secondly I wouldn't expect Haylee to start pureeing food for Hazzel she's nearly one, she can eat normal solid food.
And lastly Haylee moans all the time about how strapped they are for cash. A part time job could help this situation.

i agree juice shouldn't be given in a bottle, dentists say its worse cause its like slowly bathing your teeth in sugar rather than drinking it down quickly from a cup it wont soak teeth in it. And if she's almost a year she should be using cups by now anyways.
I don't think juice should be given at all..my daughter is 1 and doesn't drink juice..However she did it once and the baby wasn't even going to bed.. she did explain herself..anyways I still like Haylee and she's a good mom..Btw I hate juice for babies or toddlers especially with a bottle due to my irresponsible parents in the 80s I had bottle rot from juice in the bottle..

anyways Haylee I happen to really like you can tell she tries very hard with Hazzel you can see it with Hazzels amazing improvement with her torticollis, and Haylee "moans" about money problems? I don't think so I think she is being real and is doing a great job with showing teens being a young mom is not a walk in the park, Haylee only gave Hazzel Juice in a bottle once, if you watch her updates or her new day in the life Hazzel drinks out of her sippy cup... I think Haylee is one of the best teen moms I have ever watched, she is very responsible & I cant wait to watch Hazzel grow into a beautiful toddler
