I know from personal experience that a pregnant woman nose does NOT swell o.O Lorraine just gained weight in her face and other parts of her body. I'm assuming her 1lbs a week went straight to her nose LOL

LOL, yeah. I googled it and it's one of the many myths about pregnancy, actually. The nasal linings can swell, but not the actual nose. God that would be funny though, all these pregnant women with enormous noses.

Well, as a "guru" of youtube I find Lorraine to be vapid, selfish and full of nothing.

Now we are talking about a new young life that didn't ask to be brought into the world. So for the baby's sake, I hope she is a wonderful, nurturing mother. I hope the same for her husband. I hope that they are gonna be one of those people for whom having a baby is a game changer (in a good way) with respect to life and how to live it.

Naturally her family has always been in the "selling" business (art/stores/etc.) so there's an element of materialism at work there. But I hope they create a nurturing, loving environment for the baby. I do wish them the best with respect to that.

Don't get me wrong I love kids and babies. I wish this kid the best in life and I hope for him that his parents step up, I'm not going to hold my breath. I just have this feeling like Brian or his parents will lend up taking the brunt of the work, because as Lorraine clearly states she has no intention of being a attentive mother ( causes "needy" child) or even bothering to breast feed her child and all this even before the baby comes into our world. I would have liked to see Lorraine keep an open mind and be a bit more realistic about motherhood.( not going to happen:/ ) Lorraine just thinks everything's a game and I believe this baby will open her eyes, yet I just don't think she will try or even commit, seems like her mother was this way ( look how her beast turned out) and unfortunately Lowraine hasn't the means for full time staff. So when I speak of this kid I feel for it, truly I do....

I dont think Lorraine will film as much once the baby has arrieved because she will be too embarrassed and annoyed with her critics. She seems to get annoyed with people who give her any sort of judgement/critique and she seems to always be trying to sock people and prove people wrong.

The fact is, and it is a fact, there are health benefits to breast feeding. Lots of people either can't, or don't want to, and their kids turn out fine, it's just ridiuclous Lorraine says she thinks it'll make the kid needy, like it has any effect on personality. My mum had 4 kids, all breastfed... 2 of us are introverts, 2 are extroverts. 3 of us are very independant, 1 of us is a bit of a needy daddys girl. 2 of us are constantly ill and breaking bones and most at home in A&E and the other two are paragons of health. Clearly breastfeeding doesn't affect that shit, and Lorraine has no grasp on basic biology.

Um because it's the one of the best thing you can do for your baby and that's what they were made for? To me, if you can breastfeed but won't for careless/selfish reasons ("I will have a needy child," "I want my husband to wake up in the middle of the night to feed/share feeding responsibilities," "My breasts will never be the same," "Boobs are for my husband's pleasure" etc...) I think that is really selfish. And trying to say formula is just as good/the same/better than breastmilk is just wrong. And yes I understand that there are many obstacles that the average American woman faces that would prevent her from or make breastfeeding more difficult, but there are tons of resources, support, and options. At least she took some classes and will attempt to BF, I mean she did spend all that money on those BOOB bras and tops. Plus it's free!

But that's just my opinion, you can do whatever you want with your breasts and feed your baby with whatever you want. She's just putting herself on a public forum and asking for advice, ahem, validation to not exclusively breastfeed. And there are women who feel strongly about the issue, one way or the other.

I think what makes a "bad" mom is: willfully choosing to ignore information about what's best for your baby or knowing what's best for your baby and choosing to do what's preferable for you instead.

If you are physically incapable of breastfeeding, or you and your doctor determine for whatever reason it's not right for the health of your child, that's another matter entirely.

Wiping shit off of a baby's butt day-in and day-out doesn't really "appeal" to me but if I had a kid I'd probably do it, for his sake.
