I don't think that it's not "because it's not as good" I think it's just because most woman don't want to have one. Some woman feel ripped off because they don't get to physically give birth, if that makes sense. There is a great feeling of accomplishment and pride with having a baby vaginally, I think. Personally, I wanted to avoid a csection as much as humanly possible. Partly because I was terrified of having one, I've never had surgery before. A c-section is MAJOR surgery in which your organs are literally taken out and put back in. It's not the way nature intended for women to give birth, so there will be automatic feelings of doubt/fear/failure if a woman has one, especially if it was not in her birth plan. I think the feeling of the csection being not as good is just because its not a choice a lot of the time, you have a csection because you have to. Basically, it's kind of a control thing. The control of natural vaginal birth is yours whereas a csection the control is completely with the doctor.
