Well the day in the life explains the weight issue =\ I agree with another user who said jess could, in her mind, think she's eating healthy....

I see this A LOT with people. "My lean cuisine lunch is only 300 calories!" Yeah... But its double your daily sodium and fat intake. People don't understand nutrition labels. They get stuck on calories, and think as long as something is low cal, it's healthy. Which couldn't be further from the truth. I used to eat like jess too - but I was a poor college student with no kids to feed and little time to cook between classes and work.

She really, really needs to get those kids drinking something other than chocolate milk. My three year old was totally addicted to it. I think most kids are. But it got to a point where he was drinking it 24/7. That's not healthy. It's bad for their teeth, bad for their diet and it doesn't provide adequate hydration. It wasn't that hard to get my son switched over to fruit-flavored water and fresh juice. He's only allowed 2 cups of milk total per day now. She just doesn't even try.

And eating healthy really isn't that expensive. In the store you see you can spend $5 and either get a bag of apples or 3 bags of chips. Of course the chips are "cheaper". But those 3 bags of chips are actually way less food (and also WAY less healthy) than that bag of apples. That's why people think they can't afford to eat healthy. Sure, it costs more to buy all the ingredients to make bread than to buy a loaf of white bread, but how many loaves of bread can you make with those ingredients? We function on a VERY tight budget and we manage to cook homemade meals from scratch, eat plenty of fresh produce, and we eat lean, unprocessed meats whenever possible.

But of course, that's too much work.

My daughter is obsessed with chocolate milk but we started giving her the almond chocolate milk lol she does drink water but prefers her chocolate WA as she calls it

Honestly, I'm no expert on anemia, (maybe medstudent can correct me if I'm wrong) but I had anemia in my late teenns, and it was due to very heavy periods and a SHIT diet. If their diet is so poor that they have anemia at 3 years old, that's got to be almost neglect in a way. That is absolutely pathetic that 3 year olds would have anemia. I don't think its common for a child of that age to have anemia.

I had to skip periods with birth control while also taking iron pills and eating better... It took awhile and it still comes back once in awhile

I would also like to know that! Is she a good mom because she takes care of her kids? I thought that's what we all do. it's not like she was raped and decided to have the kids: she chose to have them.

Lilia was so cute at the doctor's office when she called her lungs lumps. Hahaha. As much as Jess is a trashy mess, I like watching her day in the life videos because the kids are adorable and entertaining.

Chris seems a little off to me too. he might just feel socially awkward around the camera but if he really loves Jess and things are #gettingserious, he needs to get over it because he knows how important it is to her... how hard is it to say hi to a camera. And not flip it off... rude.

Part of me is wondering if he lives there now because he's there all the time.
