YTMD Pet Peeves
Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
Fun fact: if you never feel like a crap parent, then you probably aren't a good one.

Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
Meh, the DB thing is different though. I haven't seen anyone imply that their kids eat a premium diet. Then again, I may have skipped by those comments. Sure some people knock the French fries, grilled cheese etc, but I think it's for the most part because the poor kid eats crappy food everyday, and his parents think a vitamin is a cure all for everyone.zipadeedodah wrote:I've felt like a bad parent more than once. Hey guess what. My kid eats grilled cheese, chicken nuggets, sandwiches and fruit often. She will not touch veggies unless I purée them and hide it in something.
And you know what? It doesn't bug me because she's at least EATING. But guess I'm a crappy parent.

You can't eat french fries everyday and be healthy long-term. You just can't. The fact that the daily french fry thing is not an exaggeration anymore is a very sad fact. I bet there's not one person on this board that would admit to doing that themselves and still feeling healthy
Struggling to find things your kid will eat is one thing, but I don't think that's what's happening with Ollie.

What bothers me the most is the "how dare you say that *insert Youtuber* doing this or that is bad, I do it ALL the time. I take offense to that.
No. Stop. I don't care that you do that, we're not talking about you right now.
I'm just glad we're over the 3,000 "when I gave birth" stories. Also, when someone says "I commented blablah on instagram and they deleted it. How dare they?" No way. They delete everything. How surprising.
People want to call CPS for the most ridiculous things.
Oh, and dragging the thread along. I get it, people want to talk. But geeeeze.
Sorry guys. I've been silently going crazy over here the past few weeks

I don't like when someone is so far up a you tubers ass that they defend everything! I have youtubers I like but I don't defend every damn thing, cause everyone screws up!
Get out of their ass and see that sometimes they effed up.
Essentially and what not

Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
The DB thread has been shit for a long time. I'm probably at least 10 threads behind.
Really that's true for basically all the topics anymore. The only ones I keep up with are Caroline's because those posters have no chill, Becca's, and Tayler's because watching her train wreck of a life for almost 4 years, I can't help myself.
I won't say I've never fat shamed (and hell, I'm fat) and it's not breaking any rules, but if you're going to bring it up, you don't have to endlessly discuss it. You don't have to analyze everything they put in their mouths. And start reporting people body shaming Missy, please. It's not specifically against the rules, but I don't care. I WILL start putting temporary bans on people body shaming someone who LITERALLY just had a baby AND a c-section. That's totally fucked.
And I'm just gonna say that it's really ironic that some body shamers on here are no tiny things themselves... *sips tea* If you're making positive changes to your lifestyle, good for you. I'm proud of you. But that doesn't suddenly give you the right to bash someone else's body. Hell, I've been spending a couple hours at the gym every day... Doesn't make me better than someone who isn't. Not to mention that Missy literally hasn't even been cleared to exercise yet AND she actually NEEDS extra calories to sustain breastfeeding.
And this site sucks now, I've been here almost 3 years and it has changed so much. I rarely enjoy it anymore and it's kind of sad. I don't know if I've outgrown it or if too many of the posters I loved are gone or what. I hate to pin it on the younger users and if you're young. That doesn't mean I mean you... There are a handful of younger members that I adore (Kryptonite, eponine, lizyfignewton to name a few) but there are also a select group who are doing THE MOST. Maybe I'm just old. *shrugs*
And shoutout to the posters on Caroline's thread... Y'all are so extra and you have no chill. I almost regret having Morgan make the IG section simply because of that thread. I would delete her section if I didn't think it would cause a ripple effect of other people whining and expecting the same treatment. Y'all motherfuckers need Jesus or Satan or Xanax or something. Slow ya roll.
Finally, I wish post birth abortion was a thing cause I can think of a few great candidates for the procedure.
Fin.

I didn't even know we could report stuff in here. I'll have to see how to do that just in case. I just come on, check out the 3 or 4 threads I read and that's it lol.

Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
The amount of posts I just skip over now while reading the DB thread is astonishing. Most of the things even discussed anymore have been beat to a damn pulp, yet some people still insist on talking about it.
Like Cassie going to college. Who fucking cares if she isn't.
Like Oliver's diet. We got it. He eats beige. Yep.
The damn butt prank. It was a joke. Why is it STILL being criticized. It was harmless.

Some of these YTers can't even breathe without someone having a problem with it and then mentioning it 30 times in 30 different ways.

Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
I think a lot of people post just for the sake of posting, as if there has to be conversation going 24/7. It's okay to leave a thread because nothing interesting has happened, no need to rehash things to create conversation.

Yep, and people don't read back a page or two to see if something was discussed. That starts things up again.RootBeerFloatie wrote:I think a lot of people post just for the sake of posting, as if there has to be conversation going 24/7. Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
That's because usually people aren't talking about anything so no one bothers to attempt to catch up.HelloSweetie1 wrote:Yep, and people don't read back a page or two to see if something was discussed. Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
I've had this thought for a while & will suggest it! If y'all choose to use it cool, if not, that's fine too.
I can't stand all the fighting and bashing and pointless chatter that comes with the threads sometimes but I loveeee to keep up with any juicy stuff comes out. For example bc I followed the Jess thread I know about the second marriage to Drake, the sleeping with Sam's bf thing, and just a bunch of other stuff I wouldn't have known about had I not followed it. Same with Daily bumps and the horse ranch, her old myspace, I can't think of anything but yknow what I mean.
My idea is that if someone found actual gossip or dirt or whatever they put it in a certain font, or certain color.
Yknow how the mods write in red? Maybe the actual important parts could be in... Idk...purple.
That way if someone is busy or doesn't want to spend two hours combing through conversations and personal stories only to get out of it that Bryan tweeted something stupid they can just scroll through, see the purple parts or whatever color, and learn "oh, missy probably went to disney to start labor on purpose and bryan tweeted that really insensitive thing, okay" and be done.
Does that make sense? I get if y'all don't like it and feel that the conversations and what not are what make the threads. Just sometimes I'm too busy with school work and family to keep up so I just... Don't

That makes sense in theory, but everyone will think their comment is important and put it in purple.

Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
I've said this elsewhere, but people REALLY reach on Jessica's thread. "She hates Kyson because he looks like Drake!" "Landen is autistic!" "She doesn't vacuum because the kids are scared of it!" (Lol my dog is scared of the vacuum and we vacuum twice a week...)
RIP Dad - 09/30/2017
Re: YTMD Pet Peeves
Derp, she is the one who said she doesn't vacuum because the kids are afraid of it.MamaJoAnna wrote:I've said this elsewhere, but people REALLY reach on Jessica's thread. And P.S. dogs and children are not comparable. Ever.
