I'd never record the other people even if it was just their voices or think to start vlogging. Now taking video of the car for insurance is one thing but putting it up on youtube wasn't right or saying the other people were unique characters, but thats just Elle being a bitch as usual. One thing that got me was the description box maybe because I'm not religious but it irked me. Is Dan lucky to be alive nope it was GOD!
I couldn't agree more! They should have went about it in a different way. Like you said, a sit down would have been more appropriate..not vlogging in real time at the scene of an accident. I know they are a vlog channel and essentially film their lives for everyone to see, but there is a time and place, sorry. It's just tacky and doesn't come across as authentic in my opinion.

I'm on the same page, not religious and I cringed when I saw that

Well now she has a fever, mastitis & is on an IV drip with medication. Guess she can finally quit breastfeeding like she has wanted to do for the past 11 months.

I just watched the accident video. I can't fault them for vlogging. Everyone reacts to stress and events like that differently and that may be how she felt like she could deal with it. I do think vlogging their own interaction is cringey, like the scene where they're holding each other. But they always film that shit and it's weird. But oh well. Glad Dan is okay, would've liked to hear more about the other crazy drivers lol.

Seriously, the accident video did it for me, I have stopped watching them. I always felt that Elle was a bit of a flake and did a lot of stuff to up her subscriber count, but that was in such POOR taste I couldn't believe it, at the very beginning of the video it's the other people recording...did she seriously ask them for footage, or did Dan ask them to take his camera and vlog?! Also, has anyone else noticed how her and Dan preach her "incredibly high pain tolerance" which I think stems from her drug free birth... girl, you're not the only one to give birth drug free...and it has nothing to do with pain tolerance so much as determination, yet her whole mastitis thing..she's in so much pain...but I thought you were super woman- But you need numbing cream for an IV?!?!?! Give me a break! They are so ANNOYING and fake. The one thing I will give her credit for, is admitting that their silver play button was only received because of the live birth. As soon as I saw that they earned it I thought, "yea, but you didn't really earn it, it was only because of one video and none of these people are watching you now, your video view count doesn't match up" and she admitted to that in the video and that surprised me, shes normally so up on herself being perfect I was a bit taken aback by that!

How is she getting free trips to conferences in California??? She's not even a big Youtuber. I love how she kept mentioning her "manager" in the Baby Show video LOL Yes she's so famous we get it Elle.

Did anyone watch when they were talking about their "worst dates" ??? Elle literally talked for 20 mins about how some guy asked her to split the bill with him. He probably found her obnoxious and arrogant & didn't want to pay for her meal. Dan didn't have anything bad to say because Elle is probably the only girlfriend he's ever had.

Anybody watch that Mother's Day ad video?
It seemed so fake. She probably forced Dan into writing and saying all that stuff.
I get youtubers doing sponsorships and stuff but come on

Her breastfeeding video really annoyed me. Its fine to wean when you want to but don't say breastfeeding past a year isn't nutritional and is for comfort. For someone who claims to be so healthy and clean she really doesn't do much research into breastfeeding and infant/toddler nutrition.

Ya i totally agree and even if it is comforting your child what is so wrong with that??? She's just too busy hanging out at Youtube Space in Toronto to Breastfeed anymore lol
My guess is she also going to start trying to get pregnant again soon since that will get them more subscribers when she gives birth again lol

Ya the way she was talking it sounded like they were going to be trying soon. Wouldn't take long either. She has 1 tube and still got pregnant on the first try with Cohen

I watched it. I had no idea she went through all of that. That's really awful. It bothered me that her dad just couldn't be bothered with them throughout those years.
I feel like because her mom had so many issues, she tries to put in this perfect image. Like because her mom was bad she wants to be perfect, no mistakes.

Her story was really interesting, and I am glad she shared it, but I wish it had been more personal and less about her mom. She said she had made lots of life choices she wasn't proud of, and I would like to know some of those. It seems like she was really trying to protect her own image and convey a positive message without going into a lot of detail.

I really felt her pain & it sounds like a very traumatizing childhood. Im glad she broke the cycle & is providing a better life for her own children.
My confusion with the video stems from why it was called Draw My Life when she literally only talked about her story with her mom... Also I felt kind of bad that she failed to mention her sister whatsoever. Its like she didn't exist throughout any of it... Would like to hear more about Elles story though.

I think she didn't talk about her sister because she didn't want to tell her story. I appreciate that. I wish she talked about herself more too. Like she skirted around whatever she was doing but was very open about both her parents. I think she's still trying to project this perfect image. I'm sure she dabbled in alcohol maybe even drugs as well.

The Google Home sponsorship is incredibly fake. I don't see how it's different from Nest/Alexa/Siri. The "cool features" are not unique. I bet they don't even use it off-camera because it seems more of a pain to use than to just get up and turn the lights off yourself or whatever you need to do.

Wow yet another ad video. This is getting ridiculous. I used to like them, for many reasons, one of them being that they were just a regular family and weren't a giant commercial. Now they've grown which is great but literally every other video has been a commercial. She literally had a sponsor WITHIN another sponsor.

maybe its just cause im sorta new to their channel but i really like them. They do a lot of sponsorships but doesn't a bunch go to charity? I feel like thats better than some other vloggers that just use their money to buy tons and tons for themselves.
