And honestly I call BS. I think it’s her way of stirring up brand interest.Seriouslysweetie wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2019 6:37 pm At least her wrinkles caused by her undereye lipo is less noticeable now that she's puffy.
It's also annoying how she brags on her Insta stories how much dm's she gets. It's a low key humble brag to assure everyone that people love her enough to dm her.

Re: The Lindquists
If the interaction she receives on her photo posts and videos is any indication of her DM’s... I think it’s very obvious that it’s probably the same 10 devoted ass kissers DM’ing her. But if she makes the statement out loud enough times, she might just convince herself that people love her and want to interact with her!
Re: The Lindquists
Idk why it just occurred to me, but how creepy for her kids to start school and their birth vlogs be posted on YouTube (and potty/bath moments, their mom discussing all the details of their lives, etc). Kinda creepy if you really think about it.
Re: The Lindquists
YUP. She’ll be deleting more videos that’s for sure. Especially the ones where Forde acts all weird.TeachIT wrote:Idk why it just occurred to me, but how creepy for her kids to start school and their birth vlogs be posted on YouTube (and potty/bath moments, their mom discussing all the details of their lives, etc). Do you think she's aware this gravy train is at end of line? She has bought herself maybe 2 more years with this baby don't you think? Not to mention there's probably 100 new Mommy vloggers every day. No shortage of competition. The last insta story I watched was her debating whether to use cold or warm water for laundry.
I'd be so effing bored out of my mind if I were them.
All these Mom vloggers are becoming one trick ponies. Amandamuse posted yet another Age Gap video. "Tee hee, they all thought he was my father" Like yeah, I get it, you have Daddy issues. Thank you, NEXT.

Don’t forget, Elle is getting OLD. I give her 2 years at best. Wait until she has to enter the job market again and she has to put on her resume “8 years as a YouTuber”.sisee wrote:Do you think she's aware this gravy train is at end of line? Re: The Lindquists
Being pregnant and having drug-free childbirth are her only claims to fame - unless it’s her hyped up click-bait videos, which she took down because people called her out on it. (Dog bit my baby! Cohen FELL at some museum thing! It could have been ME (about the woman who died in a car crash in her vicinity) ) talk about desperate for content!
Debating about laundry? Ugh. Where’s her talk about the fabric softener she’s ALWAYS used? How about her Hand Me Downy? Didn’t her friend have two daughters? The hairdresser one - Wouldn’t she have clothes that are ‘free’ and ‘reducing her carbon footprint’? No? It’s because she doesn’t truly care about her ‘impact’. It’s all about status or what gets her money or views.
Did she say why she WAS vegan before she went ‘plant based’? What’s her supposed motivation?

Re: The Lindquists
Yes! All of these vloggers who claim they are SO CREATIVE are doing a repeat of the same old stuff. You can only regurgitate your words so many times before it’s super old news. Amanda has really focused on this age gap stuff like she’s such an expert on it. I actually wish she had her own board. I have a few bones to pick about that girl as well. She seems like one of those “my shit don’t stink, and my kids shit especially don’t stink” people. In her defence, she’s at least willing to bring up controversial topics and allows the discussions to happen.... but for someone who claims such openness and inclusivity, I’ve certainly noticed her steaming pilessisee wrote: ↑Thu Mar 21, 2019 11:46 am Do you think she's aware this gravy train is at end of line? Re: The Lindquists
Awake too early in the morning rant time!!!!
I wish YouTubers would just stop with trying to be super authentic or super perfect. You can’t be like “oh I’m so authentic” and then say “XYZ is my brand/aesthetic.” Authenticity is not comprised of a brand or aesthetic. Have the respect for your audience and decency to admit that you’re selling something. We know you’re selling a brand. We know you’re getting paid for it. Stop trying to play like this is 100% real life that you happen to get paid for.
That’s what gets me, is that people like Elle just talk around us in circles and say “I am so authentic” in the hopes that we will just accept it as the truth and then every once in awhile they “keep it real” by posting a super posed sad face selfie and talking about how they yelled at their kid or forgot to eat a vegetable. Who fucking cares. If you have to plan out which flaws you’re going to share with us so you can “appear” super relatable, guess what, that’s not being relatable. You minimizing/editing your flaws only makes me feel like my flaws are even greater. You yelled at your kid today? I yelled at mine ten times. You’re adorably flawed with your Maya Angelou quote and beauty filter selfie, but I’m a flaming piece of shit.
And then if we SEE that a YouTuber (like our beloved Elle) is heavily flawed in a video (like the one where she uploaded the wrong version of her talking with Forde, or IT COULD HAVE BEEN ME, DOG BIT MY BABY, TRUTH ABOUT OUR MARRIAGE, etc.), it gets taken down. Oh, but it’s for the safety and protection of the COMMUNITY. Bull fucking shit. You didn’t like that we saw the real you and so scrubbers gonna scrub. But that’s our fault for having too much time on our hands to criticize (sorry, I mean “abuse”) you. Not your fault at all because the content doesn’t exist anymore, so it never happened.
SO AUTHENTIC, YOU GUYS

Yes to everything you said! The “real elle” would scare the shit out of any of her hardcore followers, I can guarantee.
Also is she ever going to post a video on time again? Oh only when it’s sponsored?

Re: The Lindquists
So Elle's too busy now to put up 3 videos a week. Why can't she just adjust her schedule to 2? She seriously can't keep apologizing every Friday for not having a video up until her 3rd baby goes to daycare. This is why I think she is delusional with her "career" and "brand" of relatable but is still aesthetically pleasing "stay at home" super mom. It's time for her to realize that YouTube is only a side gig. For years she brands herself as a SAHM but yet it is obvious she has her YouTube a priority. Now life is pulling her to focus on family naturally. It honestly would be better for her sanity to cut down to 1 video a week. But I guess that doesn't fund her $1500 ugly chairs aesthetic.

Re: The Lindquists
She only has 2 kids and they spend half time at daycare, she doesn’t work, and she can’t manage 3 videos a week — but we’re supposed to believe she’s a killer mom boss who will manage it with THREE kids?
Re: The Lindquists
Thanks for that early morning rant!! Much appreciated! Elle is naturally a hot mess, and it’s randomly appear d in some of her vlogs, which of course get taken down later, but once this third kid comes along and the balance is seriously thrown off, I think we will be seeing a LOT more of her true shittiness show through!
Re: The Lindquists
I’m excited for it. Remember she fell apart for a while after Cohen was born. Which she never admitted and worked hard to pretend didn’t happen. But it was very clear that she was NORMAL and HUMAN and struggling with the transition or adding a new child.Margie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 22, 2019 6:55 am Thanks for that early morning rant!! Also re: her being a prize pig about being pregnant. I couldn’t agree more with that!!! I’m pregnant now, after two losses (one stillbirth) and nobody even knows except my husband. I don’t think she realizes it is possible to be pregnant without having you whole life/social media presence revolve around it. And actualllt, having experienced loss AND ppd I think it’s much easier to manage grief of loss if you keep some of your own identity and aren’t swallowed whole by the pregnancy. When your entire life is consumed by the pregnancy, post partum becomes even more challenging and PPD hits hard. For me it’s important to be excited and celebrate, but also remember I’m and important and valuable person beyond my ability to make babies!!! I don’t feel like Elle sees any value except “mom”

Also pretty sure you can preset an upload time but I could be wrong.
Oh well, probably not a video I would watch anyway!

Thank you!! I know it isn’t a competition of grief, but I feel like my journey has been so much more bumpy than Elle’s so it super irks me that she’s milked this infertility nonsense.
