I know that we don't know the relationship Bryan does or doesn't have with his mom and sister, but this Hawaiian trip bugs me because it's been ages since Bryan has seen his family! OK, maybe he has issues with his mom for staying with his stepfather (I obviously don't know if that's the case, I'm just speculating) but even if he does, what keeps him from visiting or flying out Bev? Is he holding onto a grudge with her, too? I'm just interested in seeing if Bryan's mom and sister will be at the EPIC ALBUM RELEASE PARTY or not. What a pleasant surprise it would be if they were joining them in Hawaii instead of just the Hollisters! I doubt that's the case, though, since Missy is excited about this trip. No way would she be excited if she had to spend the trip with her in laws.

With Bryan's comment about them never having a girl... the only reason he would care is that the girl would "drain" some of his precious youtube money, its not like he puts the time in to look after the kids he already has well.

Have they even mentioned this trip to Hawaii? I know Bryan tweeted something during the rain last week about dreaming of Hawaii.
I agree it would be nice for him to see his family. I really think it's just so strange that they're leaving right after the show. Didn't they do that the last time too? Here are your "friends" coming to see you but you turn around and leave the day after. You'll complain about how busy you are with the show and then packing. Just strange.
Doesn't seem as if he's put as much effort into this one as he did the last one. The last practice the week before is just weird. His ego is so big he doesn't think he needs it.
Off topic a bit... hasn't Bryan said that he wrote these songs to explain their story? Clearly someone else wrote that one before and Bryan picked it up. It wasn't written specifically for him, right?

All the talk about their carpet that's too light makes me think that they're talking about it to set us up for one day- "surprise we're getting new flooring! The carpets are too hard to keep up with"

They also copy everyone right? The Johnson's are putting wood flooring in their house, I wouldn't be surprised if B and M do the same

Like instead of calling the RTV "the RTV" he calls it "the Polaris" and his sunglasses "the RayBans" and the car "the Volvo" like he's constantly gotta be showing his status by constantly dropping name brands. Maybe I'm overly picky with stuff like that

No, it bugs me too. My mom had a friend who was like that. She had a Farberware toaster oven, and always called it "the Farberware". My mom would roll her eyes and say "It's a toaster oven!"
I think Bryan said his "whole family" is coming to the party, meaning his mom and Bev, and I don't know about his real dad. It bugs me too that they're coming in for this, and then B&M, rather than spending any time with them, are blowing out of town to Hawaii. And how much do you want to bet that Mimi and Papa are going along? Because you know, they can't be like normal people and travel alone. They're "celebrities"! They must have an entourage. (Sarcasm)

Must be nice to take a vacation every two weeks. Entitled assholes. I have not had a vacation in ten years!

I can't stand them, but I don't blame them one bit for all the traveling they do. My husband and I travel 4-5 times/year, and I don't feel guilty for it.


I'm still more annoyed they don't THANK their fans for being able to have the opportunity to do so than anything. I wonder if they will miss their flights, and have to buy all new ones again.

I had a friend like Bryan as a teen. Her dad was a business owner so they had money, instead of just brand names she would also tell me the cost of everything. Don't mess up my memory foam pillow it was $200, don't touch my hp laptop it was $800, needless to say I don't talk to her anymore. Lol

I think Missy designs it this way to prevent Bryan from spending time with his family. Very passive aggressive and manipulative if she does. I don't think leaving for Hawaii right after is something Bryan planned at all. I think it's Missy and he just goes along with it.

And we have another episode of "Parenting at its Finest" by the Lumps! Starting off the vlog with Ollie jumping off of the table, and onto the sofa! Missy corrects him, and tells him not to do that. Just kidding! She stands on the coffee table herself, and flops onto the sofa!

Bryan rewarded Ollie with candy for being good in the farmers market. Bryan said he could have one piece, but Ollie chose two. Bryan told him that he could only get one piece, and made Ollie put one back. Just kidding! Ollie ended up with a sucker _and_ pop rocks! No candy for Little Baby Afterthought.

Ollie-ese: Staw bay den = strawberry; gape = grape; Bryan corrected Ollie's speech, and helped him to pronounce the words correctly. Just kidding! Bryan just translated some words and laughed off the unintelligible words in the rest of the vlog. Unfortunately, Bryan couldn't translate what the poor kid was saying when trying to explain how the toy dog worked.

Finally, Missy and Bryan read both kids a book before settling them into bed. Just kidding! Ollie fell asleep while closed off in his playroom watching a movie so that his parents could watch their own movie. Who knows where Finn ended up.

Maybe Bryan and Missy could try going to bed by 10 or 11 pm; then waking up with Finn at 6:30 or 7 might be easier. My mom also suggested putting a toy or snack in Finn's crib; these might help him play/snack quietly for a little while after he wakes up, though he'll need a diaper change pretty soon after waking.

Other suggestions for Bryan and Missy:
- take a 30 stroll around the property or neighborhood 5 days a week.
- eat fruit and nuts for snacks.
- go to church weekly; put the boys in Sunday school or children's church
- join a book club or Bible study or neighborhood group that meets weekly
- read Dr Cloud's book Boundaries
- volunteer at a women's shelter or other charity/ministry once a month
- take a multivitamin, probiotic, and fish oil supplement
- get evaluated by a psychologist for any possible mental health issues
