Every time she calls herself a minimalist I want to slap her! Look I love shopping as much as anyone else but I would never try to convince anyone that I am a minimalist. However she truly does believe it. Speaks to how dumb she really is!!

“A year ago, I might have ripped Dan a new one, but *eye twitches* THIS YEAR *chokes back vomit* I AM A *steam comes out of ears* CHANGED WOMAN *head explodes*”
Speaking of shopping, I’m really excited to see her back to school shopping haul. Last year, she bought a giant pack of Kleenex for Forde’s classroom and said she specifically got a gender neutral and eye-pleasing design because she felt like the teacher would appreciate that. It was so amazing.

I’m sure the class appreciated that box of tissues for the two days they used it before it ran out.okaythatlldo wrote: ↑Wed Aug 21, 2019 6:57 am “A year ago, I might have ripped Dan a new one, but *eye twitches* THIS YEAR *chokes back vomit* I AM A *steam comes out of ears* CHANGED WOMAN *head explodes*”

Guy who is this gathered nest? And is she really Elle’s BFF?
I really want someone to call out her shopping addiction. It just angers me how she preaches on her high horse about minimalism. Maybe for her sons and their toys but not for her little princess and herself!

She’s clearly replaced Melissa Maker in the BFF trifecta.Notablogger wrote:Guy who is this gathered nest? And is she really Elle’s BFF?

I actually like This Gathered Nest channel. I remember Elle mentioned in past stories she has been messaging Angela from This Gathered Nest about the comments being off. This was the first time I heard Elle mention her and now they are BFF's?? Elle is such a stage 4 clinger.Notablogger wrote:Guy who is this gathered nest? And is she really Elle’s BFF?

Also imagine telling your boss that you can’t come into work today cause you were shopping out of country until ten pm the night before.

In her insta story the other day she made it sound like she went to buffalo with all three kids. Surprise she’s not. Only two minutes in and so much snark material already. I’ll be back.

Guys I didn’t get through the video cause my kids needed me but I just went on insta stories and she’s shopping. Again. This is at least at least three times this week.

The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Jesus & Coffee t-shirt.
REALLY MINDFUL SHOPPING ABOUT TO HAPPEN TODAY, GUYS.
Did I miss something?? She said this included a back to school haul but I skipped through both haul videos and didn’t see anything for back to school? All she bought her kids (that I saw) were toxic bowls and gender-specific placemats.
I laughed at the baby dishes section. Did she say she’s getting bamboo dishes for Brighton when she’s on solids? I guess she’s too good for whatever plastic crap Elle’s forgotten boys use.
Love that she bought a 3-step cradle cap system hahaha. One of my kids had really gross cradle cap and I used a $3 bottle of baby oil and my finger. Got rid of it in one treatment.
I did find it interesting how many references Elle made to factoring in the exchange rate to see if you’re really getting a good deal. Pretty sure I said that on this thread after the last haul. You’re welcome, Elle.
Final thoughts: Watching this privileged content of two chicks jerking each other off over Target purchases is super annoying.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
Intro was cringey. Stop screaming Elle, you're not a teenager.
Where IS the back to school stuff for the boys? I watched the video while cleaning so I missed a lot when I turned on the vacuum.
She said she made a list so she can be mindful and not get spendy but did she really get everything on it? Seems like she got a lot of random items to me. Oh and that brown dress looked like poop colour. It would be nice if it had some structure to it like the vintage 70s dresses in that colour when it was popular. It was annoying to hear Alexandra sucking up to Elle telling her to get it.
I'm seriously wondering if she has both boys in daycare. If not, then it really seems like she leaves the boys with Dan every time he gets a day off from work to go on her errands and shopping excursions.
Oh and more shopping today. For camping stuff guys! I bet in her mind that shopping trip didn't count.

Re: The Lindquists: Welcome to hELLE | Part 2
I did not find that dress flattering.
I don’t recall who said it but it does seem like Elle shops to fill a void in her life. She’s constantly searching for something that can’t be bought.
And that vlog with the car/van thing. Seriously, she would have laid into him over that? Maybe COMMUNICATING with your husband the night before would have solved that. OR - and this is a big or - maybe he thought you’d wait for him to come home before you left. You know - to say good bye, I love you, have a good weekend. But please continue to tell us how healed your marriage is.

That dress was AWFUL. Shame on her friend for telling her it was flattering. The colour does nothing for her and let’s not even get started on the shape of the dress. She should just take it as a loss and donate it. It is absolutely horrendous.

I dunno if the best shapewear and bra in the world could make it work... but I really appreciate your optimism
I feel like Elle should pay a stylist to help her in building a wardrobe--and it would also be educational for her audience. Like, What Not to Wear style...going through her current clothes to say what works and what doesn't and why... and then go purposeful shopping for specific items with a budget.
