I only know it from 1990s infomercials. It was pronounced C-L-R in the ads at the time.

It's definitely C-L-R, Kendal is clear-ly wrong.tn37185mp wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 9:30 am Question: I have noticed several YouTubers/Influencers are being sponsored by CLR; Kendal is one of them. All of the other YouTubers/Influencers pronounce it the same as I do, except for Kendal. Her pronunciation was “clear”. Is she right?

Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
My first gripe:
The way this quarantine has been going for us must be similar to the way the Rich family lives on a daily basis when they’re not in quarantine. Except that we actually still have structure to our day and we eat at home. Get up, take time over breakfast, do school, have a long lunch as a family, drink some coffee, eat dinner as a family, play on electronics. That would be the basis of their day and it has been the basis of our day EXCEPT that my kids have online conferences, they get phone calls from their teachers, my husband still does a full day of work and is holed up in an upstairs bedroom on conference calls and having virtual meetings. My kids are still training 2 hours every day (usually at the track but sometimes in the garden or in the forest) without a coach. My husband and I are running almost everyday or doing home Workouts on the days it’s raining. My point being, the Rich family LIVES like many people are quarantining right now. Except that those who are quarantining are still working hard and trying to maintain a normal active life.
My second gripe is:
Kendal spelled ‘allowed’ incorrectly:
In one recent Instagram comment some child suggested they should stay home and she replied with: “nope, we’re aloud to leave. No more stay home comments or they will be deleted”.
Good to know your English is up to scratch Kendal. Must work wonders in the homeschool environment
Also, their editor mistakenly wrote that public schools will open this week when in fact he should have written public pools. Way to go on misinforming your young viewers.

New video. Clover had to go to the vet because a gland ruptured. Hello your supposed to take the dog to the vet and have their glands expressed if they are having problems. How much do you want to bet Clover had problems and they did nothing just ignored her. What happened to the gunnie pigs?!?!

Rushed in... they really need some new content. And there’s more “rushed in” vlogs than pictured.

We took the dog to the vet, he's fine; 6 second story turns into 20 minutes of bullshit, lol. I kept skipping until they were done blah, blah, blahing and when I stopped, I was just in time to hear "We speak Hampton". All I can say is, ...wow.
What's the name of Hampton's certified speech therapist, Kendal?
Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
Ok, this is bothering me so I’m going to post again.
Kendal, if your child says “ah to me?” YOU correct him!!!!!!!!!!!! You say "me too". You don’t continually reinforce his disability by “speaking Hampton” you stupid, lazy, self-centered, crazy bitch!!!!!!! I swear to God, smh! You got that kid so f’d up. You don’t TEACH him, you contribute to his special needs. Jesus, you still got him sitting in baby seat, hooked to Daniel's bike. Hes almost 8 years old, Kendal! Buy him a damn bike the next time (which should be soon) you do a no budget gimmick. TEACH him how to ride it!!!! TEACH him the correct way to talk!!!! You both are some really shitty parents!
Rant over.

Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
This! They are just setting him up for a very hard life. He has a functional disability, but with the right therapy and support Hampton could be high functioning. At the rate they are going, Hampton will be totally dependent on Daniel and Kendal for his entire life and it is no fault but their own. He doesn’t need a stroller. He doesn’t need a bike trailer. Get him a a balance bike and let him work on his motor skills. It will take spending one-on-one time with him, going slower on their bike rides, and letting him ride it every day BUT he is capable.Kanrira wrote: ↑Sat May 02, 2020 2:55 pm Ok, this is bothering me so I’m going to post again.

Agree. I always wonder why they don’t work on correcting and teachings the correct way to say something. Just laughing and encouraging his own language

They are a lazy family. Daniel quit his job (he’s a father of 5 kids and YouTube doesn’t provide a secure income). The don’t cook, Evie quit online school because it was too hard), the don’t send Hampton to therapy, they don’t teach him anything (he has a disability but it’s definitely not life limiting). He has toilet trained himself (their own words), he has taught himself to stay afloat (I won’t call it swimming)...can you imagine what he could be capable of with the correct support?! They copy vlog content from other family vloggers. Lazy lazy lazy. And it’ll come to bite them in the ass as the kids get older.

I
i have learning disabilities and I’m 37 years old and live with my mom because I can’t drive or live on my own. When I was Hampton’s age my mom and dad got me into Therapy and fine motor skills teacher to help me plus Speech therapy. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
Kendal’s vocabulary is beyond limited. Her kids have a wider vocabulary than she does. Everything is:
So cute
So good
So beautiful
So amazing
So pretty
So sad
So soft
So jealous
So hot
So yummy
So funny
Look up some new adverbs and adjectives to use, Kendal!
I imagine a convo between Kendal and Daniel goes something like this...
K: so, so, so, so
D: um, um, um, um,
K: so
D: um
D: um
K: so
Such boneheads!

Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
Absolutely Pathetic. Airhead & Jethro are keeping ALL of there kids from learning anything at all to help them as future adults.
All she teaches them is that EVERYTHING has to be a drama, most recently her and Kap going to get coffee and getting there temp checked.
My God, she ranted on and on and on in the van about it then ranted again at home, pathetic.
Evie is in huge trouble understanding life, go back and watch when she stayed in the stupid slide overnight, at the start when Jethro asks her a question she responds like a 5 year old, she looks around and her eyes were completely empty, I'm sorry but with all due respect, Evie is ignorant.
Brinly is no better off, every time the camera turns to her she opens her mouth and flashes a bunch of gang signs.
Kap may still have a chance, although I don't have much hope.
"Boy", why the hell does she call him boy? Again, ignorant, it's not funny in the least bit.
"Bones", he has a name, use it. They NEVER should have been allowed to adopt him. Jethro had the idea and from what I remember had to twist Airheads arm. Hampton is a wonderful little boy, but the tag team of Airhead & Jethro are ruining ANY chance at all he may achieve success by continuing with wrong words and making a "game" out of it.
The whole family is a "Hot Mess"
Teach your kids what it means to earn money and where it comes from, it doesn't just magically come out of an ATM.
Anyway, Have a Great Day A & J.

Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
Everything you’ve said here is true. As an adult a person can choose his/her direction in life. I would expect parents to choose responsible directions. But, I would also expect parents to give their kids the opportunity to be able choose a direction as an adult. These kids won’t have a choice. They will be molded into a life that revolves around playing to the camera, drumming up drama and shopping. They won’t have a good solid education. The won’t have learned conflict resolution in a constructive manner. I’m sad that Evie is already responding sarcastically to comments. I’m sad that all the girls are dancing to songs with adult lyrics. I’m sad that Kendal thinks the ONLY place to vacation is in Disney when there’s a whole world to be explored. No Karpri: Paris and New York are not the same place. I couldn’t watch that 24 hours on a raft video. It was too stupid.Hyperspace wrote: ↑Mon May 04, 2020 6:38 am Absolutely Pathetic. All we ever hear about is shopping at Whole Foods. Did anyone else notice in today's challenge video there was a package of donuts from WALMART on the bed.

Re: The Rich Life | Part 2
Today’s 8passenger vlog said YouTube ad revenue is down over 80% for everyone. I am willing to bet the riches are hurting right now. Their views are already low as it is and with decreased ad rev they will probably bring in hardly anything. They will never admit it though. They have to have the persona of being rich living in south Florida
