Baby already had a pediatrician appointment. She's thriving.

Lucy had a prolapsed uterus AFTER her first birth announcement (iPhone) video. Treated by midwife. She thinks she may have had an infection due to sweating and fever, but did not mention taking antibiotics.

For some reason, Lucy is pumping. They can't keep any stored milk. Kacen is drinking pumped milk straight from the bottles in the fridge.

Expressed breastmilk has always grossed out Joel. He thinks it's disgusting. He almost threw up upon seeing Kacen drink Lucy's milk from the fridge.

I love how he just said "It's a girl and she's 8 pounds blah blah blah ounces". Lucy gave him this look like "Thanks for ruining the suspense." I guarantee he was tired of being on camera constantly and not being able to say it.

So she just posted two pics in the last few hours. One is a pic of her umbillical cord that has been dried in the shape of a heart. Almost immediately she was down like 5-7 subbies - I guess they weren't into seeing stuff like that. And now she has posted a pic of Jacelyn's painted fingernails. PLEASE tell me that one of her appointments yesterday wasn't to get her nails done.

I did not watch the video. I figured she would do the gender reveal cake or something like that for the reveal in the video. Like make a simple white cake dyed pink or blue but frosted in a rainbow or even rainbow sprinkles and cut it to reveal the gender or something like that. Judging from your reactions I am guessing she just did a vlog announcing it. So if joel just blurted it out, I am wondering why she didn't just redo so she could make it all big how she wanted. It would make sense considering how she was trying to hype it up. If you hype it up that much, you should put out the effort to make it worth the anticipation of the people otherwise you could loose interest. You also risk having someone else do it for you and not have any control over it. Meh, whatever, if she wants the youtube gravy train to last as long as possible, there are better ways to do it than to hype and disappoint viewers.

I agree. People are ridiculous. They were annoyed that she didn't reveal the gender soon enough and now they are annoyed that she didn't do in the "right" way. Really? I know there are countless reasons to dislike Lucy, but don't you think that if there is any time to give Lucy a little slack, this would be it? The baby isn't even a week old yet. If you want ALL the details IMMEDIATELY in the most perfect and thoughtful way possible, you are expecting too much and obviously don't know what it's like to have a baby yourself. Then again, there are people who make it their job to find something wrong with every little thing Lucy does. You're right NaturalMomma76, she really is damned if she does damned if she doesn't.

I think they've narrowed the name down, but once again that needs to be a separate video. 8lbs 6oz thats close the Peyson's weight, eh at 37wks? I knew she would have some traumatic issue to excuse her lingering gender reveal, didn't surprise me one bit. Prolapsed uterus?? Isn't that linked with having too many children, too close together? Maybe listen to your body & give it a few years to recuperate.

I had no issues with how she announced it, but the comment about "people making it their job?" to find things wrong..well all it takes is watching her videos. She tattles on herself.

I like the names Gracelyn, Raelyn Hope and weirdly the baby looks like a Lacey to me. Little Lacey Eades. Unfortunately it doesn't really rhyme with the others.
