I've heard her also mention a few times about two naps still so that is a possibility that he still has a morning nap.. in one vlog, not sure which it was she had said he had a late first nap so is refusing his second nap or napped later or something along those lines.

They take turns getting up with Ollie each morning. If he truly sleeps until 9 every morning, that's ridiculous. They should both be getting up by that time of day! Lazy...

Didn't watch it but that doesn't surprise me. It's a Christian mission and Missy's mom's family were clearly fundies. I wonder what they actually followed. It would be interesting if it was Gothard. Missy mentioned she was skirts only until teens and never saw any movies as a kid. I think it all started to change when her grandma died.

Whe you think about it being christian is not a huge part of the culture in cambodia. Im not even sure what the dominant religion is in cambodia. would not be surprised if these cambodian children in cambodia did the whole song and dance so they could get some help in cambodia.

Nah, I don't think that Missy's parents follow Gothard (thank GOD, no pun intended) but I do believe they are hardcore fundies--at least Missy's parents are. I think Missy and her siblings have stopped drinking that kool-aid, especially Cassie whose favorites Youtubers are pretty openly atheist. IMO Missy is just doing the whole pony show of acting all religious because that is what her parents did with her when she was Ollie's age and she probably think it is the best way to raise a child, even if she isn't fully fundie herself. Bryan is loosely Christian I want to say? He "found" Jesus after he and Missy broke up; which has had theories its because of his sexuality.
So you have Missy who has fallen off the fundie bandwagon, and Bryan who IMO is putting on this religious act and mix it altogether with fundie grandparents and BOOM you have the Hollister family dynamic.
As for Cambodia, Bryan is 100% just going with whatever this organization says. This whole fund-raising thing was an act to show how ~good and ~charitable they are. I'm sure they are happy and excited that this money is going to a good cause, but I am sure Bryan is way MORE excited about how he looks like a saint to all his viewers.
And it is a HUGE warning sign when an organization is going into a country that is seen as "uncivilized" by Western culture and spreads goodwill---and Christianity. Especially since Buddhism puts emphasis on inner self worth and doesn't value material possessions, it should be seen as odd that all the sudden these kids and families are not hardcore Christians.
It is my opinion that these "good" charities are just Imperialism disguised as a nonprofit. Hi!!! I'm a long time (since November) lurker, the Jess saga made me finally make an account.
Anyways, I first watched Missy way back when she stated her channel and shared about her losses, my 3rd child is 18 months so I was following moms with similar pregnancy time lines. Soon after Ollie was born I stopped watching, their daily vlogs were not appealing, but I still liked them. Cue Lucy's disappearance, I found this site and was like 'what's wrong with Missy and Bryan?? I like them " I read and started following the threads and then watching again.... And I'm in agreement with all of you! Missy is pathetic! She has ONE kid.... It's not that hard to deal with life with ONE kid.
And Bryan is such an annoying try hard, he is just not likable at all.

These clips occur daily and have done for over 2 years now, so yeah... They are pretty consistent. How else would we form such strong opinions if it weren't things that we're seeing. It's not like there's slip ups in a couple of vlogs, their laziness, bad parenting, unhealthy diets and relationships are consistently shown.

But I am really enjoying seeing Cambodia and at least its something 'educational' for the minions to see what life is really like for some people compared to Bryan and Missy's easy life.

I think they decided to do it because it was Christmas and they wanted to appear more Christian. That, or maybe they wanted to scam a large charitable donation tax write off.

It would be good for the minions to see, but I don't think they are getting it sadly. Most of the comments are about how good of an editor Mithy is, or how well she's doing without Bryan. I really find that upsetting, but I guess that's just their fanbase for ya.
