Preach! Every word of this!okaythatlldo wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 1:05 pm Elle just has way too much baggage and she’s downloading it all onto this poor baby girl who’s gonna be born and have no idea of the train wreck coming for her. It’s enough that she’s going to be literally born and raised online but don’t worry little baby girl - NO PRESSURE! MOMMY WILL PROTECT YOU!
Maybe the first step to protecting your kids the way you say you want to is to not parade them out for public display from the second they exit your vagina and for their entire lives. Just a thought...
Not to mention, Elle is probably THE most insecure person on the planet, whose sole purpose for being on YouTube is to have a “community” that tells her she’s so pretty and smart and funny and awesome and the more they watch and tell her this, the more money she makes, and the more she can purchase status items that further set her apart from us plebs. She is constantly seeking praise and validation from literally anyone, and gets off on her “empowerment” shtick. What qualifies Elle to be a role model for a growing girl? I wouldn’t want my daughter learning anything from her.
I’m honestly a bit worried for this kid.

If I’m concerned for my daughter she wouldn’t be raised online. Period. I’ve said it before, but raising your children for other people’s entertainment is exploitation. Period.
Re: The Lindquists
Also, wash your hair elle. Looks greasy AF in your latest pic. Yuck. Right now I feel empowered to go shampoo my hair.
Re: The Lindquists
I sure hope “baby girl” fits into Elle’s aesthetic (orange filter that shows all the lint and dog hair) or she may be cut from the payroll.

Ha! Sorry, I’m just getting caught up with Elle’s stories on YouTube where she posted the other day about Pycnogenol. I’m dying, she blames her midwife and Doctor for not recommending pine bark for her varicose veins after she cried in their office. Yes Elle, your google search is more qualified then your health care professionals Why don’t you go lick a tree and save yourself $50.
By the way, I also can use google and the number one usage for taking Pycnogenol is for erectile dysfunction.

Re: The Lindquists
Also I keep seeing this:
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Early research suggests that a standardized extract of maritime pine bark (Pycnogenol, Horphag Research) is POSSIBLY SAFE when used in late pregnancy. However, until more is known, it should be used cautiously or avoided by women who are pregnant.
Risks. Pycnogenol may stimulate the immune system. So it may not be safe for people with immune disorders, such as:
Lupus, Multiple sclerosis (MS), Rheumatoid arthritis
It's not known if pycnogenol is safe for children or for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
I mean, long shot here, but MAYBE your doctor isn’t recommending because it hasn’t been studied and deemed safe yet? Idk. Doesn’t she have an oil to cure all this shit anyway?
Speaking of, anyone catch the mixture of oils she recommends women use post partum? It was $200+ worth of oils from doterra.

Re: The Lindquists
I can't stand oil MLM's and the fact that Elle seems to believe essential oils are safe enough to ingest (most shady EO companies don't even recommend this), use undiluted (I don't believe ANY EO companies suggest this), and use around small children and while pregnant when some of them are particularly toxic to children. Just because they're "natural" doesn't mean they're safe to use willy-nilly. I don't know why someone would take any unnecessary risk during pregnancy or around children (and pets, too, because they're also sensitive to some of the oils and can die from them being diffused in the home), or is Elle really so uninformed that she truly believes they're okay to use without even looking up how to properly use them? She has shown that she is grossly incompetent in her research of these essential oils and no one should take advice from her. That's also why I would not want to see a video about post-partum depression from her, because it would be condescending and she would probably recommend taking lots of dangerous oils and doing other things that are more likely to do harm than good.TeachIT wrote: ↑Sat Apr 13, 2019 10:21 pm I mean, long shot here, but MAYBE your doctor isn’t recommending because it hasn’t been studied and deemed safe yet? Re: The Lindquists
Just the franenscince she recommends is $93 US, and she drinks it in her tea. So scary!
I’m with you re:oils. Some smell nice, but I work at a university and we aren’t allowed to diffuse in our offices because it can trigger people’s allergies. They aren’t medicine. And Elle simultaneously believes they ARE and such powerful medicine!! But also harmless. Which doesn’t even make sense?

I was totally duped by Elle Lindquist regarding the Doterra essential oils. Back when I was trying to support her and reached out to her with my varicose veins and cellulite issues after having my third child, she persuaded me to buy Cypress Oil and a couple of other oils to make blends to ingest and rub on my skin. She told me she used cypress oil after her first son was born and it was a "miracle oil" for her.

Re: The Lindquists
I love essential oils. But they don't certainly "cure" anything. MLM's pushing wrong info about them is scary especially with ingesting. I think when I saw Elle drop essential oils in her tea was the day I started to dislike her. Like no, you can get stomach ulcers and burns in your esophagus by doing that.
If you ladies are interested in learning about proper use of essential oils, I love the site usingeossafely.com. They also have a Facebook group and I learned so much from them. They hate MLM oils and correct so much misinformation out there.

Elle doesn’t read here but shared some oil safety info on her IG today guys. But she doesn’t read here. Ever.
“I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet” - Elle. Er... I mean, Ghandi. Or maybe she ripped it from Rachel Hollis.

For someone SO ignorant in the importance of nighttime nursing for supply, she sure was cocky about her upcoming video on breastfeeding. Can't wait for that dumpster fire...
Re: The Lindquists
Recap of today’s video - what’s in my hospital bag.
Video starts with Elle laughing and crying like a rabid hyena because she’s so excited to be having a DAUGHTER.
On and on about how unbelievable it is she’s pregnant and having a girl. Rambling.
Casually mentions a Facebook pregnancy group she posts in. Someone locate so I can harass.
Rambling about drinking water in a very condescending tone. Basically, if we all drank water we could have natural births too.
OILS. Shocker, she uses a ton. Weird comment about how she brings oils to “anoint the baby”. Sounds creepy and unsafe.
Jujube diaper bag. Admits she had one for Cohen and loved it, but decided to buy a “girly print” one this time for BABY GIRL #minimalist
Eyemask so she doesn’t have to look at Dan’s ugly mug during labor.
Multiple music playlists depending on which of her multiple personalities is dominant that day.
Mentions that she plans light because she’ll definitely be going home 2 hours after birth. Dear God please give this woman a c-section.
Diapers - she’s bringing 3 pampers diapers. She did a “scientific study” (lololol) at a pampers event and they are basically paying her now. Another mention of how she trusts them because she did the scientific study herself. Wowww
Weird discussion about how she loves “sustainable” but throws away her clothes and towel after birth because you can never get them clean again. HUH? What kinda of nasty coochie do you have that it can’t be washed after?
Change of clothes for dan. Shocked she even thought of him.
Can’t end without a mention of secondary infertility and how BLESSED she is. Tones of condensation and smugness abound.

Re: The Lindquists
I’m currently watching and wanted to punch my tv screen at her gloating in the beginning. Know your audience! You roped in thousands of subscribers with your infertility bull crap and now you’re bragging.
I didn’t catch that she bought a new diaper bag. Minimalist my ass. I had basically dropped my diaper bag by the time the second baby was three months old. She’s all about the image of being a fertile Goddess mom. I am actually disgusted by how many new things she is buying for this baby.
And she is so revved for her birth video to
Go live and viral again. I hope something goes wrong with the tape and it doesn't film. she is so
Smug ugh.

My second baby - $25 backpack
Guess which one was actually more functional?!
She knows better but is all about image. Somebody make a list of all the new shit she’s bought, since she swears this baby is only getting hand me downs. At this point the only used item I see is the stroller?
Re: The Lindquists
I don’t know why she even needs a diaper bag, she doesn’t go out anywhere with her kids.

Re: The Lindquists
Exactly I think I used the free nestle backpack as my diaper bag for baby two.
I bet you she won’t use the same stroller. She’ll argue she needs some kind of double stroller.

Re: The Lindquists
The best diaper bag I had is my MEC day backpack that I used for hiking for years. Affordable, wipes easily and its washable.
Elle really wishes she's a minimalist coz it's trendy. I'd like to see her monthly budget on non essentials coz right now it seems like she doesn't have a limit!
