serious question, why are a lot of you against these women, quitting their jobs, making money on youtube and staying home with their kids. i'm not shading anyone. I just want to understand what's wrong with that?

Nothings wrong w being a FT Youtuber with good consistent/relatable content. It’s the fact that she attracted majority of her audience because she was a working mom and she prides herself for being a #momboss. She just needs to own up to the fact she’s not working outside the home anymore. Not as relatable to the working mom audience.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it, it’s just misleading to continue to say you’re a working mom. Plus, once they switch to full time Youtube the majority of the time the content shifts to mostly sponsored and becomes the same as every other Youtube mom (think TB and queen meg)

Theres nothing wrong with staying home with your kids and quitting your job! I did it myself, But I did not get on youtube and say I had a "new job" and then completely avoided the topic when people asked about it. That's what my issue with Bri is right now. She made a video in June about getting a new job, it's almost October and shes clearly not working. If she would have been honest from the start I would not be bashing her for it.

Plus with the way she waited to announce she left her last job, revealed she'd be starting a new job in the fall, likely decided not to go back into the workforce and is taking her time to announce ithat, it kinda feels like she's the one who harbors some sort of shame about staying home. "Hey guys, I decided to leave my job, but not to worry cause I have another one lined up!" *doesn't go back *crickets #momboss

I assumed Brianna wouldn't even have a thread on here. Aside from her irritating, nails grinding on a chalk board voice, the sponsored posts as of late, and her weird need for perfection, you can tell her kids are her world, and she isn't selfish like other moms (looking at you, Aaryn and Britney) Bri jumped on assessing Landon's speech, wasted no time getting his allergies checked out and resolved. She's a genuinely good mom to her kids, and I don't think anyone would disagree with me on that one. I was starting to notice her not working in the spring, and taking a lot of trips so I got curious if anyone else was picking up on that too, turns out you guys were. That's why I was kind of annoyed because she totally seemed different than other YT flakes.

First time posting on this board. I started watching Brianna after her l&d with Presley. I LOVED her. Finally a YouTube mom I could relate to, and she even gave me words of encouragement when I had to go back to work after maternity leave. Ever since Vegas, I’ve probably watched a handful of her videos because they are no longer relatable. I, along with what I’m assuming is most of her following, enjoyed her videos because she was a working mom. Now that she’s not, the content is pretty boring to me. Don’t hate her or dislike her, I just don’t enjoy her videos anymore.

I wonder if her October announcement will be a pregnancy announcement? It would make sense not to ho back to work. Have we seen her drinking lately?

See that's the thing, i work outside of the home and if i could find a way to stay home and make a descent amount of money I'd be so happy. what's wrong with that? i get that you question credibility, hi Meg. but i think it's a good way to make money. a momboss isn't someone who works outside of the home i hated when she made that series, it's almost like a way of saying moms who stay home aren't bossmoms. idk. she did change after vegas though. i really liked her too. are there any other working youtube mom?

I think as long as her husband stays at his job it's fine. She's got a son with what seems to be a pretty ugly egg/peanut allergy so i'd assume they need his job for healthcare. I think I heard her say she's filming a Q&A so maybe she will come out and say that she isn't going back to work. I do think Bri is struggling with the transition, and she's having some personal guilt from quitting her job. maybe that's why she has avoided the topic for 3 1/2 months.

Bri and I were pregnant at almost the exact same time. I think she might’ve been a week ahead of me but her pregnancy updates would get posted on track with how many weeks I was. I am also a working mom and really admired how put together she was despite having a full time job and a YouTube channel.

I actually found her channel because I was searching for working mom DITL videos. There aren’t very many of those, especially of moms who work full time 8-5 type jobs. Bri was one of the few.

She was never one of my favorite youtubers but she was one of the only that I actually was impressed by as a human. And I agree with a previous poster that she’s one of the only ones who seems to genuinely love her kids beyond being a narcissist and whose kids clearly love her back.

I don’t hate her for quitting her job. It makes her less relatable to me right now but honestly, I would love to be a SAHM so I don’t blame her at all! The difference is, as many others have stated, that she’s keeping it a secret.

Her mom poured her a drink in the fall decor video. And may I add her moms house gave me anxiety. I’m sure she is as sweet as pie but a little overboard on the tacky decorating. Too much decor ends up looking like clutter.

And her asking which you tubers videos we like and which you tubers videos we view...she says shes looking for new people to watch. Again, no. She's looking for videos to copy and ideas since she needs to keep pumping videos out and get that $$$

Bri has no sense of matching correct clothing items with the weather. It's pretty warm, and humid as heck here in CLE today, but she's wearing a big sherpa fleece. WTF.

Her style really is the absolute worst.

Guaranteed she only bought one because Liza talked about buying one a few weeks ago. Their "friend" group is so freaking annoying. You're right, I live in Northeast Ohio too and it's 72 degrees outside
