DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
I still can't believe Bryan got down on all fours and scrubbed the carpet instead of having Papa do it or better yet, call for a carpet cleaning company, pronto

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
i don't hate them either, it just bothers me how much they have changed... i used to follow them when Oliver was a week old, and i truly fell in love with their channel! Altough i never really like Bryan, i followed The Bumps Along the Way and then started following DB. I wasn't a minion but a huuuge fan of them, i was quite young and really looked up to them, even made them collages etc and they both followed me.. everything changed when they started showing their true colours, im not into people that show off their stuff, i stopped watching when they moved into the house before this one, and wasnt really attracted to the channel... when she had Finley and they started ignoring him it made me really mad and unsubbed, algo unfollowed them everywhere. The thing is, i dont hate them, i just hate how they forgot their past and that they are there because of their fans! Its just so annoying how all their viewers are 12 yr olds and all they do in their channel is promote a lazy, unhealthy lifestyle, the hole new thing about not caring about education is so... idk it honestly lef me speechless. i know i have stated this before but i do hate how they make differences between their children, im very aware of the fact that we only watch 10 min of their day but you cant hide stuff that are really obvious, i feel like they do everything for money and views, i dont know why they had finley if they already have the best kid in the world.. so annoyed at their lack of parenting skills and they teenage atitude.. hope they would realize that they are raising a good-for-nothing little asshole, i really hope the kids dont turn out like their parents

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
I just noticed during the homework scene that Ollie asks Missy "is this red?" Are you flippin serious, this kid is FOUR YEARS OLD and doesn't know his colors?! My son knows his colors, some shapes, can recognize some letters and numbers but isn't counting yet, and is even doing months out of the year (repeated) and he is TWO! Get it together B&M...your Golden Child is not perfect...he depends on YOU (HIS PARENTS) to teach him! It's not just the school's responsibility!

I usually don't get this annoyed about their videos but is Missy dense?! Why on earth would you go on a rant about school and homework in front of your kid.. does she want him to hate school?! I honestly think she does.. so she can use it as an excuse to homeschool him. Scary.

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
Can you imagine her home schooling? Let's take geometry: "Like, this is, like the Pythagorean theorem: like, in a triangle, you know, like, the square of the, like side that is, like longer, oh, I don't know. You'll literally never use it, so like, it's literally not important. Go watch a video so I can like, play Bubble Witch"avabrooke1226 wrote:I usually don't get this annoyed about their videos but is Missy dense?! Ollie: "What's a triangen?"

That lyric video looks like something I made on PowerPoint in grade 6.

I don't watch them very much anymore but I wanted to watch this one.. Man, that was painful to see Ollie, Missy and Bryan and 100% to blame for this and I do feel sorry for Ollie, that poor kid. They aren't doing him any favors, they need to grow up and become parents.
About the twitter rant: THAT WAS PATHETIC BRYAN, I would have said "unlike your "friends" YOU CAN'T BUY ME WITH MONEY"

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
I just watched the lyric video and it honest to god looks like one of those lyric videos my friends and I would make during out twilight phase circa 2008 (I'm showing how young i am with that statement). Bryan (or corbin or whoever they paid) makes videos professionally, and that looked about the same skill level as a couple of sixth graders making a fake lyric video for "Hey, Edward Cullen" (that's a real one.....it was a dark time in human history). Also, so many of comments are people discussing how they thought the lyrics were something else which proves Bry Bry needs to take some diction lessons.
On a positive note, I forgot to mention how much I loved the carpet scene. I might have actually laughed out loud. It was such a relatable moment, and those are so few and far between in these vlogs now that I really appreciated it.
ETA: Bryan does write some damn catchy chord progressions (if he actually writes his music....which I doubt because I don't think he can read music). The lyrics are always god awful but those chords and melodies will always get stuck in my head.

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
Hate to be 'that guy', but sadly Bryan DID go to college. He was studying computers or something and then switched his major to photography. It's part of why they 'drifted apart' and divorced. It's all in their draw my Life video.
I'm going to throw a conspiracy theory out there and wonder if part of their distaste for education is due to it being a contributing factor to their divorce and that them drifting apart could also be related to Bryan discovering something about himself that later manifested itself in the form of his gym escapades
Hahaha enjoy that one guys!

I think Missy's distaste for school is simply because she was raised with a cult mentality and doesn't want to relinquish any control to outsiders.aurora85 wrote:Hate to be 'that guy', but sadly Bryan DID go to college. Not to mention the fact that B&M hate criticism and have managed to create this bubble where they believe they are super important, and now that Ollie is in school it opens them up to unavoidable criticism they don't want to hear from the school and other parents. Criticism is threatening because it will burst their perfect illusion.

Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
I think their distaste for school is that they have never matured past the 10th grade. So, they think school is for losers and dweebs because they are the cool kids. So much of the way they act reminds of high schoolers I deal with. Part of that could be from being from a small town (or cult in Missy's case). Another reason could be that they never had that real world struggle. They didn't go to college. They lived with Missy's parents until YouTube took off, but they were never twenty-somethings living alone and trying to make ends meet at a minimum wage job and able to appreciate that their education would get them out of said minimum wage job. Yeah they had the divorce and everything but they were what eighteen? Maybe nineteen? In Idaho? That's my hypothesis.

Yeah...Bryan wouldn't know a chord progression if it slapped him in the face. He can barely plunk out Jingle Bells on his fancy piano with the note names written in. Someone is writing some annoyingly catchy stuff...but it's not Bryanusernamessuck wrote:

"Bruh." That initial, embarrassing, animal head skit video gave me major F'd up, "furries" fantasy vibes on its own... and now, this picture? *gag*lmmomSD wrote:My daughter just showed me that. I threw up in my mouth a little.queentee20 wrote:Hello

You think it was a coincidence there were only 4 out of the 6 animal heads in the basement? B&M no doubt kept 2 in their room...
Hey Bryan and Missy! Now there's a simple little math equation you can introduce to Ollie! You're welcome!
Re: DailyBranding&Bitching (DailyBumps Part 95)
But when they got together they were renting a house and living in sin. He was going to college and she worked at a chamber of commerce. Those lazy teenagers did get a chance to live out on their own before living in that garage, they did fail. The problem was that Mimi and Papa took them in right away instead of sticking it out on their own like adults.usernamessuck wrote:I think their distaste for school is that they have never matured past the 10th grade. Before YouTube Bryan and missy both had jobs and normal (relatively) lives and struggles. Then again -before YouTube Bryan was a student, a server and a photographer and missy was his hair and makeup girl who helped on photoshoots...And we have all seen how well she does her own makeup

I mean, tbh, even if he could, do you really think he would? Brybry is notorious for paying people to do even the simplest of things that he is more than capable of doing himself, let alone something that would actually require thought and effort.cat9480 wrote:Yeah...Bryan wouldn't know a chord progression if it slapped him in the face. Yeah i guess i forget they actually did live together while they were married the first time. I just feel like besides the divorce and "living in sin" they haven't had that like growing experience they should have. And Missy's parents are totally to blame you are completely right about that.aurora85 wrote:But when they got together they were renting a house and living in sin. I just can't put my finger on it, but they just seem like high-schoolers still. When they hang out with C&K. The way Bryan talks to literally everyone. The way the just cut people out of their lives. The way they totally think Ollie is only going to school out of obligation and not to learn. It is all so high school, and I can't put my finger on why they are like that.
