I took it to mean that she placed the blanket there to act as a buffer; should one of them pull the lid of the piano down, the blanket would stop the lid from slamming closed on their hands.
I was far more concerned that chair was going to flip backwards with the kid standing on it. What a shit show, all of it.

I've not watched it but could it be that the blanket is there so it the kids pull down the top which cover the keys, they're hands aren't squished between the keys and wood - the blanket will provide a cushioning for their fingers.
Oh that's right. I don't know why I haven't realized it earlier, that it's about the part of the piano which can be slammed to close it and the material is to protect the hands. Thanks for explaining!

i’ve been watching some of leonardo’s old videos and you can tell the older kids really don’t care that much about the whole religious side as much as their parents do. you can tell their instagram pages are just for show.
I sort of got the feeling she was some sort of mail order bride or something. He is so old and unattractive... not that she is all that attractive but she isn't really at his level. They are very odd. That husband does nothing in the family. All just very weird.

From what I’ve gathered in their most recent vlog she has vlogges quite a bit and is just uploading them now.
The videos aesthetic is very pleasing but their way of life is so disturbing. I kinda get the all white thing for the little kids because it makes laundry easier you can just wash everything together at 60 degrees and bleach everything. Also it's way cheaper to buy plain white tshirts than fancy ones. But I don't get why the older kids have to wear white.
They're full of contradictions. The end is near but they keep popping out babies/ we are sooo religious but according to Taina's IG "the only reason" why she homeschooled her kids was music. Well usually fundie families homeschool their kids for other reasons, like surprise surprise religious reasons. /we blanket train our little kids because we are some weird religious people yet the older ones seem quite free to do their own thing, like Cleopatra posting those pics of herself, going on a morning run at 3am (was she running in their own garden or what?) being active on social medias have 10 devices and playing 786959722 instruments.
Also half of the children's names are not religious at all... Cleopatra? Leonardo? Aphrodite? Nefertiti? Romeo?
I do understand spouses can be very different from each other but these 2 don't even seem married or like they live in the same world. Their views are so different, he is narrowminded and strict and she appears to be fame hungry.
Some of her videos seem very staged. It's like she's trying soo hard to be so cool with her little girly voice but it is so unnatural.
I just don't know. Yeah they craked youtube's algorithm with all their videos but really vlogging isn't about posting videos from 6 months ago, nobody cares about what you freaking did last summer. Also if you're trying to be big on youtube at least explain more things about your family especially when your family is so unique and bizarre. It's like they're shovering their way of life into our faces but don't want us to ask about anything and don't want to explain to us shit.
I found their channel about a week or two ago when the very first thread of theirs started. Now there’s like 3-5 threads. I finally watched a video. I seriously want to watch them all because there is just something wrong. 4 small children in the bedroom, the dad doesn’t do shit at all besides make vegan cheese. Maybe he supports them financially. Idk idc. He looks like he sleeps through anything. She doesn’t wipe their bottoms unless they poop. Okay, so maybe her kids have had frequent diaper rashes. Even though the diaper absorbs liquid, it doesn’t mean that urine isn’t on the skin breaking it down. This is how elderly get bedsores. The 3/4 year old should be in a toddler bed, using a cup, and her own panties. She should be capable of walking to the bathroom to potty on her own. Something is just so off to me and I can’t figure out why. So they all just eat fruit in the morning? Like do they have specified times to eat because honestly I didn’t see much protein in there. There’s tons of plant sourced protein vegans can eat. I’m sure they get hungry within another hour. She also didn’t cut the grapes for the younger ones. I know I’m being nit picky. She also replied to a comment and said that Omega is their last baby.

I have an 18 month old and I still cut everything and make sure I watch him closely while eating. He’s only choked once from solid food and that was enough to scare me. He chokes on water sometimes as well. So I don’t see why she doesn’t just cut them. It isn’t that hard. Takes 3 extra mins to cut them if that for those children and it will potentially save them from choking one day.

Another thing that bothers me is that damn blanket training she forced unto them. It breaks my heart seeing it and even thinking about doing that to my son. I get it she has a lot of children to change but that’s her choice and she should have them wait in line standing up or playing with toys until she is ready for each one that would be way better than forcing them to lay down and not move. It angers me that someone even made blanket training a thing.
I was looking through her IG and this is what she had to say about Nefertiti not being potty trained. Sounds kind of crazy to me. You’re purposely holding her back so that YOU can enjoy it??? Wtf. I don’t have kids but this must be damaging in some way.
