She started out as a frugal, DIY, cleaning momma vlogger. She was a SAHM, and he was a firefighter. They lived in a double wide on some land they owned. She got a little YouTube following, and the money went to their head. They rented in a gated community, because her celebrity status required so much security. The husband quit his admirable public service job to manage the “business”, aka beg for sponsorships for his big head wife. They sold the double wide and bought a house too big for them just to show off money. She takes every sponsorship that comes her way, so her videos are nothing but ads. She does it solely for the money... she even says so a few screen shots up. Oh and I mustn’t leave out her “six figure doctor’s salary” according to her. And I’m not even a subscriber. I used to be... back when she was a real person. Now she’s just a money hungry big headed idiot.

The comment above me sums it up perfectly. They were financially struggling. Justin was a firefighter and she was a SAHM with pink hair. They lived in a double wide. She used to be humble but the money went to her head when she started gaining popularity. Her husband quit his job to send emails for sponsors and delete/blocks any comments and people on her social media that aren't praising her. They go on holiday about 8 times a year and bought a ridiculously massive house. Everything is 'I' and 'mine' She brags at EVERY SINGLE OPPORTUNITY. The kids are apparently homeschoooled but that looks like it's gone out the window. They don't sign them up for any activities. All they literally have is each other for company. Long story short she now thinks she's Kim Kardashian and refuses to take the slightest bit of criticism

I just watched her house tour and clean with me. This is a comment not just for her but for many American mommy vloggers. It gives me so much anxiety to see a house that huge for such a small family. And it seems to be the norm for many vloggers -- is this a new rich mindset? Is it because they want to show off as public figures on the internet? Or is buying larger real estate a common trend for all middle-class Americans?

I'm not from the US so I'd really like to figure it out.

Can't imagine Meg's kids growing up in such a huge household. They'd be the only ones staying on the second floor and it makes me anxious how the parents can have a full night's rest with their kids in another storey. I also find it strange that Justin and Meg share the same business but their offices are so far apart lol. That kitchen-living room is so huge it's unnecessary. And a jacuzzi? Really?

Well, at the end of the day, it's Meg who's gonna be maintaining the upkeep of that huge house, so more content for her, I guess.

Also noticed that they brought back the like/dislike count for their videos.

I guess it depends on what you want. The US has smaller, older homes with a lot of character but I guess as time went on and more land was developed, houses did become/are continuing to be built bigger. I live in a older home. I have two living rooms, an eat-in kitchen and a formal dining room, the bedrooms and bathrooms and an attached room off the garage that I suppose could be a bonus room of sorts but we just use it as a workshop/shed so we don't need one in the yard. All that crammed into just over 2000 sq ft, so our rooms aren't huge. They're plenty for us, but they are not large by current US standards. I think my master is 16x14 and we have a very small bath, seriously probably 4x6ft. We do not have a mortgage so this house will have to be pried out of my cold, dead hands in order for me to leave it for something bigger LOL.

Yeah...I mean, I have friends who only have 1 child, but have a lot of pets and like to have indoor space for everyone to run around. They also have family visit a lot, since they live nowhere near any of them. So, they have a much larger house than I do, even though my family is double the size of theirs. I have a very large kitchen and the perfect amount of space. It ends up being about 250 sq ft per person in our house and I think that is just perfect for us. But, I think many people would feel like this is close quarters for them. I'm noticing that more younger families don't want the debt of expensive, larger homes and so I think that there will be more of a trend for smaller homes. But, it seems like houses are bigger the more north you go, And I'm about as far south as you can be in the States. LOL. But, when I lived in NC, the houses were just generally bigger. Not sure why.

I was subscribed to her back when she discussed why the Hubs quit his job. She said that it was the fact they had to deal every time he went to his job that he might die and they just couldn't live like that, so he quit. After all the training, while they were together, after the job searching, while they were together and being hired on as a FF, while they were together. it's not like they didn't know the nature of the job, but whatever. All of a sudden it became the most dangerous job in the world that no one had ever attempted while having a family.

Now he's fully trained to change lightbulbs and block people online. Let that testosterone fly!

So, I haven’t really been watching Meg’a YouTube videos but, I happened to watch her instastory. The last one they were putting together the Dyson v11 and she said “this isn’t sponsored by the way.” Next thing you know she’s posting a sponsored Dyson video.... now, she posted a sleep number instastory how they “finally did it and she has been wanting one forever.” Next video how much you wanna bet her video is sponsored by sleep number???

In Meg's last couple of videos I've heard her say "I've never had a...______" COUNTLESS times. I know in her house tour she said that about having a jacuzzi, and a couch in her bedroom, and maybe one or two other things. In this latest video she said she's never had a little black dress and she's never had the opportunity to have friends nearby and...she's never had a 24 cup baking tray lol.

I wonder if her sudden, consistent mentions of indulging in things she used to be deprived of has something to do with this whole life coach business she got herself into. It's like there's this mindset shift in her, to kind of live in the now, and it definitely doesn't seem accidental. Everything from buying the house to buying a baking tray feels very deliberate in spoiling herself now that she's come far.

Cringed a little bit when she cut back to their video from 4/5 years ago and she said she was a new Youtuber back then and the Hunts had a lot more followers than her...and now...they're best friends. I half-expected her to say, "and now, I make six figures!"

Jezz I don’t know if I can stand to watch her anymore, this morning routine was freaking pitiful...she complained about making breakfast for her kids...she is seriously getting so lazy, she even has said in her last few videos “I’m doing ____ because it’s easier”....bacon does not take that long to cook with some scrambled eggs I hope Ross got his bacon he requested, she didn’t show making breakfast...poor little dude

Wow, she is insufferable. It's shocking to me that she would cuddle with a dog first thing in the morning, yet her kids are upstairs, awake and watching TV, at noon. Those kids should be up and outside, learning and playing with kids their age, not cooped up in the west wing of the self-proclaimed queen's poorly designed castle. It's been said a thousand times that those kids should be in school and activities, but if they aren't going to do that, they should at minimum have a normal household/schoolwork routine. If they're so rich, why aren't these kids in private school, ballet and sailing, music lessons, art, ANYTHING? Tennis from "not an actual tennis coach/cousin-babysitter" doesn't count LOL.

I also adored how she was able to spend time doing full hair and make-up but couldn't be assed to make breakfast for the kids.

I remember in the trailer, she was doing dollar store workbooks with the kids. She seemed like such a sweet mom. Great job adding yet another terrible change to your lifestyle, Meg.
