I get so annoyed when Tyson hashtags #datenight every other freaking night he leaves his children.
#datenight is for parents who hardly ever get a night to themselves, so they take a picture to document it. Maybe once a month (if they are lucky) but most of us probably only had/have date nights once every few months when the kids were little.
He should hashtag #parentingnight because they go on more dates than they do stay home and parent so...

I've spent 5 nights away from her, 3 because I was at hosp with my sister in law, 1 because my father in law died and the other was my sister wanted to take her. I don't get how people who 'desperately' wanted children spends so much time away from them.

We are the same, I actually don’t think we have had a “date night” this year? Edit: i tell a lie! We have had one evening out - 8pm-11pm kids were in bed when we left and of course in bed still when we got home. My cousin sat and watched tv.

This time of year is going to be super busy - sports prizegivings, christmas work functions, etc. But our kids are always at home in their own beds with either family or a babysitter.

All of our extended family work - our parents arent retired, we dont have teenaged siblings, we have older friends who have teenagers who babysit for us (for payment of course!). My parents love having the kids and attending their various sports, but id never expect them to forfeit their relaxing friday or saturday nights to watch our kids. They work hard enough as it is.

I work through school holidays and instead of having the kids in a school holiday programme (super super expensive with three kids without subsidies - low income families get the subsidies). Our friends daughter is amazing and comes at the drop of a hat to watch the kids - she loves hanging out here and playing with the kids. Shes partakes in a very expensive sport so she loves having the extra money to spend on equipment that her parents would otherwise purchase.

I would NEVER ever expect anyone to drop everything to watch our kids, if we cant find someone we trust - we dont go. End of.

I had to attend something last night that required me to wear makeup. I'm not young and not particularly attractive. It took me 3 minutes to put it on and everyone complimented me on how good I looked. 3 minutes. And 2 minutes to take it off. Imagine what she would achieve with all that extra time.

Just as an aside, date nights are when you go on a date together. Not with other people. That's called going out. Dipshits.

They really are stunted in maturity at where they started dating.
NOT sticking up for them, but a lot of people video concerts these days and upload it. It's funny how cell phones changed things. Some performers encourage it now! It used to be that you could get arrested for taping a concert. But I don't know anyone who records the whole thing. It's really impossible for them to just be in the moment and enjoy themselves, isn't it? Got to record it, post it, get attention for it.

The part I find ridiculous is that they record the whole thing. 4 stories per song. Most people that record at concerts record snippets of 1 or 2 songs. I did that at Garth Brooks because it’s freaking Garth Brooks. Tyson practically vlogged the entire thing.

Backstreet Boys released a new album at the beginning of this year.
Huge fan, and I took my daughter to the concert when I went (she’s almost 10). Recorded about 3 minutes of the 2+ hours concert, mostly my kids dancing in front of me. Enjoyed just being there.

I really have no desire to watch any of the slip n slide vlogs, but I am thinking of letting the Bings vlog play on my phone while I go in another room to clean. Just so they get another view that the Greeders don't. The bedtime routine vlog, is that where they go out for another #datenight and someone else puts their cats to bed? Sorry, won't be wasting my time with that one either. If it is dumb and dumber putting them to bed, it will be a bunch of rough housing and screeching and then the donors begging them to go to sleep. Would be more productive to watch toilets being installed over at the Bings!

Concert date night! Bison is sweating like a pig. On Nash's IG, 2 hours ago she and Hugsy were getting ice cream to drown their sorrows. Because they had awesome plans for the night but they fell through "due to unfortunate circumstances." Makes me wonder if they are babysitting the ferals.
