"What's wrong with Katie?" Where would we even begin??

Cullen, for me, wouldn't be that bad if he just stepped it up. There's nothing wrong with being the "fun guy", so long as you're meeting your obligations. I don't even care that he doesn't go out & get a "real" job. I just would like to see him put the effort back into YouTube like he used to. There's no reason their channel couldn't evolve with the times & become more profitable for them, but he's not willing to put his nose to the grindstone & make it happen. Supposedly this is his passion. So PROVE IT!

He is probably sick of editing all the time.

They’ve had an editor for years. Also YouTube is not his passion. The goal with YouTube was to get famous. He’s been searching for internet fame long before YouTube.

Watching them make Gaines Birthday cake was just sad. It's obvious Cullen had been drinking or smoking, and maybe Katie had a few drinks herself. Watching their dynamics, you can see Katie gets tired of Cullens immaturity faster than she has in the past. At first I used to think Cullen was just trying to be funny and liven the vlogs up, but now I don't find him funny at all. We are watching the downfall of their channel and I believe their marriage. I don't think Katie will choose Cullen over her parents once it all over. I know I get sick of Cullen just 30 minutes into their lives, I couldn't imagine living with him all day/everyday! They both need help, both need to grow up and both need to get real jobs! I do feel sorry for the kids, Gaines is not to be blamed for her mothers adoration of her. She is a product of her parents. Its sad that adults are criticizing a 4/5 year old that only knows what she has been taught by her parents. All youtube kids are going to need therapy when it ends.

Up until recently Katie was just as immature as Cullen. Watch their early videos.
Now, people grow and change and Katie seems to want to mature but you cant really fault Cullen for not getting there as fast as she wants him to. His behaviour isn't new, he's been the same guy since she started dated him. The only difference now is she wants him to act like a country club man.

I totally agree. As much as Gaines can be an unbearable condescending brat she is primarily mirroring her mother's behavior in childlike form. At her age she knows no better. When kids are this young I always tend to blame the parents when their kids have issues or act totally out of line. Young children are masters of observation and mimicry. Without corrections this is what they do. Brooks is just the same, but from what we see in the videos he is much sweeter in nature. Besides his issues he copies Cullen who in turn acts like a fool to encourage Brooks' more wild and dangerous behavior. The C&K Titanic is halfway sunk. If these two don't finally get their heads out of their rear ends their kids will suffer some serious long term damage. They remind me so much of a song called The Drugs Don't Work by The Verve. Time to be honest with yourselves and sober up Katie and Cullen. We can see the truth even if you think we can't!

When they first started, yeah they were BOTH immature. But life goes on, people grow up, get jobs, have kids and responsibilities. Seems like some never grow up, think they can party, get wasted and it will not affect their families. I think Katie is growing tired of the wasted, immature Cullen. You can have a few drinks and a good time without always making an ass out of yourself and going overboard. My brother-in-law and sister-in-law broke up after 7yrs of marriage because my sister-in-law refused to grow up. She wanted to go out clubbing every weekend. They had a 3 and 6 month old. Brother-in-law worked to give her the beautiful home, the expensive SUV, the clothes. He found out she was smoking and drinking during the day with friends instead of taking care of the kids. He took full custody of the kids. She is still single, looks like hell after 9 years divorced. Not saying thats happening with C&K, but at some point you have to stop with the high school fun-boy BS!

Well, the favoritism continues, poor Brooks got a bunch of crap they got for free from some company for his birthday and princess Gaines gets showered with all those toys. They crack me up, one day they are all about living minimally and the next they shower their favorite child with all that plus a bike! These idiots have video evidence of their favoritism that their kids can watch when they are older. There was an article I saw circulating Facebook where a mother was confessing how special her first born was and how she could never love another child as much or in the same way. Reminded me so much of Katie! It is just obvious to me that overall there seemed to be a lot more thought and organization put in to celebrating Gaines compared to Brooks and it is just so sad.

I don't think anyone here blames Gaines for her behavior, or any other YT kids for that matter. These poor kids are going to be stunned when they grow up and realize that all of their childhood was sold so their parents could have internet "fame" and easy money.
That being said, I also don't think we can really blame anyone for wanting to vent here about how annoying some of the behavior can be. Even if it's not her fault, it takes a much better person than I am to not at least think Gaines is kinda bratty when she's bossing Brooks around. No, it's not her fault. But it's still obnoxious
