Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
so she got an ugly purse as the reward for making blue diamond at her Doterra pyramid scheme convention. Does she have to pay to attend or do they comp her?
Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
She definitely wasn’t kidding on taking sponsored videos. And now I can’t help but count her “actuallys”. 10 in a 10 minute video. That actually a lot a lot. Lol. I wasn’t sitting and tallying but I listen while working around the house and I couldn’t help myself.
Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
I haven’t seen anything mentioned but I don’t frequently look at a ton of comments. They all say the same thing “guys I would ONLY ever do a sponsorship if it’s something I already use or really believe in”. Whatever. I don’t necessarily blame these YT’ers for making more money, I just can only stick around for so many of them. Also, she did get a little nasty in the comments with someone. The commenter later apologized saying she was foreign and maybe she didn’t state her opinion well. Or something like that. I think it’s fairly common for someone from another country to be misunderstood in the comments (of all different YT’ers) and I feel bad for them when they are pounced on for it. I’m sure the views will be lower when it says right in the title it’s for a sponsored video.smarlo wrote:Has anyone called her on it in the comments?

Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
With the amount of kids she has, i don’t blame her for taking sponsorships or hawking her pyramid scheme, she just has to be careful, because viewers can sense insincerity and don’t like it. Especially a channel like hers, which started out small and is based somewhat in Christianity and being modest, she could alienate her original fan base while trying to attract more viewers.
Side note: i really don’t get how people make money with something like doterra. It must be so stressful.

So true. Totally agree. If they need the YT money, I get it. It’s just definitely a different feel from genuine content to...hmmm, this feels like an advertisement now.shilohjulia wrote:With the amount of kids she has, i don’t blame her for taking sponsorships or hawking her pyramid scheme, she just has to be careful, because viewers can sense insincerity and don’t like it. Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
I swear, if she called it Fab, Fit AND Fun one more time I was going to get in my car, drive to her "farmhouse" and punch her.
THERE'S NO AND IN THE NAME!!!!

Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
She says a couple doozeys. One of them is EXpresso for espresso. Another one is leggins for leggings. NOT saying you have to pronounce things perfectly but it almost sounds like she goes out of her way to mispronounce. Lol. There are a few more. I can’t help it, they stick out to me.smarlo wrote:I swear, if she called it Fab, Fit AND Fun one more time I was going to get in my car, drive to her "farmhouse" and punch her.

Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
And voila....just like that in her haul today she repeatedly pronounced “leggings” and “jeggings” the normal way. I heard her say it the other way a few times too but primarily correct. And I’ve NEVER heard her say it correctly before. Lol. Kinda funny. It’s nice that she makes so much extra now with Doterra that she can just go out and get what the kids need. I see that in Jamerril now too. They don’t bargain hunt much at all. Must feel good. Granted, Jamerril always goes crazy at Walmart for clothes (along with some second hand stuff) but still, they go buy what they need now.

Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
I have been watching Nic for quite a long time and was drawn to her for her simplicity. I loved how she would budget every penny and at Christmas time she would give her kids a pair of snow boots because "they needed them" or she would knit a special doll for one of the younger girls because they would't have money in the budget for a new store bought doll. She was so simple and she seemed so honest. Now she seems so scam-y and so dishonest. I asked her a question about migraines and oils and before I even had the question finished she was trying to sell me $250 dollars worth of oils.
Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
Seriously? That’s too bad. I could see recommending a specific oil or two but not $250! Disappointing. FWIW, I use Doterra peppermint oil on my forehead for migraines. But I use migraine excederin at the same time. The 2 together do the trick. But you’re right, she’s definitely changed. I wonder what her justification is for taking sponosorships now WHILE shilling Doterra.ChewyQuesadilla wrote:I have been watching Nic for quite a long time and was drawn to her for her simplicity. Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
Everyone's a freaking doctor now a day's lol any ailment u have someone has an oil for that bc they need to pay their bills not bc they care a rip about your ailments lol we left a church bc of that....it became a dam marketplace oils....diet food....jewelry....all mlms too lol it was a joke. The pastor used his pulpit and his wife too to push the oils and crap it was borderline disrespectful lol I wish they had an oil to repel people selling me oils I'd rub that shit all over my body. Lol oh and Nikki's pronouncing stuff correctly now? Hi Nikki! Hey girl!!! Lol they all read here.

Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
That’s AWFUL! We used to go to a very small church years ago. I swear half of the women or more were selling Mary Kay. Every time you turned around someone was having another party. A pastor and his wife shilling oils must be the worst. Ugh. “And oil to repel”. Lol, that’s hilarious.Anastasia2468 wrote:Everyone's a freaking doctor now a day's lol any ailment u have someone has an oil for that bc they need to pay their bills not bc they care a rip about your ailments lol we left a church bc of that....it became a dam marketplace oils....diet food....jewelry....all mlms too lol it was a joke. Re: afarmhousefull Part 1
I mean, i can’t blame people who’ve been struggling to make ends meet for years, who finally start making some decent money, wanting to spend that money and give their kids better things. But money from YouTube, sponsorships and MLM pyramid schemes is not stable. So, by all means make the most you can and spend it, but invest and save too.. and don’t get so snobby and annoying and disrespectful that you drive away the customers/fans that are basically writing your paychecks. When you make money that way you lose money that way!
