Maybe that's why Tayler doesn't want to send Alesana to preK....

Because she'll actually have to get up at a reasonable time along with having child educators evaluate her child's progress. I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to "homeschool" them.MommyToASweetie wrote:Maybe that's why Tayler doesn't want to send Alesana to preK....

She better not. That would be a disaster. Are homeschool children checked up on? I really hope they are.rodgerdodger wrote:Because she'll actually have to get up at a reasonable time along with having child educators evaluate her child's progress. I was homeschooled, and yes they are.ciara1991 wrote:She better not. That would be a disaster. Are homeschool children checked up on? That's good. I love the idea of homeschooling but I wouldn't so it myself because I know I couldn't be structured enough. She'd just be a huge disaster...deeznuts wrote:

Re: Ohioisformothers and other old channel names Part 35
Yeah in a lot of her old vlogs, the kids would still be up at 2 in the morning, and they'll be watching Disney channel. I think Tayler would take them a bath multiple times a day just to get them to sleep.
Re: Ohioisformothers and other old channel names Part 35
Sigh. Does she feed them too much sugar? Or make them nap a lot during the day to just not have to deal with them? Why so late? I don't watch her that often, but that's a lack of parenting.
Re: Ohioisformothers and other old channel names Part 35
She probably makes them stay up all night so they will sleep all day so she can sleep all day too.
Re: Ohioisformothers and other old channel names Part 35
Who knows with people like her. I really hope she sends the kids to preschool. They need to be on a better schedule. It's not healthy for them to be up all night and sleep all day (if that is the case).leem91 wrote:She probably makes them stay up all night so they will sleep all day so she can sleep all day too.

I remember when Jakoby was a very small baby, she used to sleep until 2 or 3 in the afternoon. Alesana would too cause she used to be up all night.

I always thought this too. Back then when Jakoby was still a baby, Tayler would be on tumblr at like 4 in the morning (before my son was born I would still be up around 1 in the morning in my time zone so it was later for her) and she would be online telling people to send her ask so she could make a video right now.leem91 wrote:She probably makes them stay up all night so they will sleep all day so she can sleep all day too.
Those poor kids are going to have it hard when they start school. I knew a girl in elementary school who wouldn't come for days because her mom was too tired to take her to school, her mom didn't even work or anything.

She's doing a Q&A with Chuckie. I wonder how many times they will break up and get back together between now and when it's posted.
If she homeschools those kids there is no hope for them whatsoever. None.

When she moved back in with her mom for a while when she was pregnant with anberlin, she used to make videos in the middle of the night at like 3-4 in the morning and have her room lights on and you could see Alesana and Jakoby sleeping in the background. She has no consideration for their sleep schedule, sleep at there age is very important for brain development and all around growth

Re: Ohioisformothers and other old channel names Part 35
My 1 year old has a messed up sleep schedule right now because his body clock seems to be running on a 26-ish hour day instead of 24 so he gets tired a couple of hours later every night, along with his naps. But, unlike Tayler, instead of giving in and letting him stay up past midnight he has his bedtime routine at the same time every night and then he has quiet play either in his room or in a room that does not have loud toys or toys that light up. He eventually goes to bed, usually with a mini tantrum, at 10pm and opposed to 8pm but if I let him do what he wanted he would be up until, or passed, midnight and would probably having a bigger tantrum with being tired. Keeping all his meals at the same/similar time helps too, if you're reading this Tayler

When I go to her Tayler Dawn page, you show up as a mutual friend, so she probably invited you through that?cakewalked wrote:did anyone else get an invite from tayler to like her page? i'm not sure how she found me..

^ I was just about to say that. I saw it the other day when I found her personal Facebook.
Re: Ohioisformothers and other old channel names Part 35
I couldn't find the old one about 2 days ago. I think she did make a new one after deleting the other one.
Again.
Again.

You have a reason though to have your kids on a different schedule, that's good parenting on your end because you want to spend adequate time with them. Taylor is just selfish, she has no reason to keep her kids that are 3 years old and younger up until 10pm or later watching tv.

Well I'll admit to being one of those bad parents who lets their three year old stay up late. I figure he's got the rest of his life to be regimented, why not let his body clock determine his sleep habits for now? He's only going to be small for such a short amount of time, why not just enjoy the quiet nights with him cuddled up together on the couch?

At least you're with your child and spending time with him. Tayler doesn't, she thinks putting on Bubble Guppies to distract the kids so she can be online is okay.Shawn2011 wrote:Well I'll admit to being one of those bad parents who lets their three year old stay up late. Like someone said, she doesn't sooth her kids to go back to bed when they wake up in the middle of the night. "Oh Alesana you're awake? Okay let's watch some Disney channel or take you a warm bath for the 5th time today so you can go back to sleep! Let's do this quick because I need to answer questions on my askfm!"
