Jess is not soft with Addie? I disagree, but it's interesting how she's not soft with the kid who has all of her more negative traits. If you had a clone Jess, you wouldn't be able to stand her.

Also, at this point I'm not sure I believe Addie dyed her hair by herself and this all wasn't done by Jess for the video. I don't really believe anything she says or does anymore lol

And yeah, her boobs are much too big for her frame, they make her look like *cough* adult film star. She isn't that overweight but the boobs make her look much bigger than she actually is. Remember when she said she wasn't getting them in a huge size or something along those lines?

I mean I wouldn't have dyed it after she did it, because it would be like rewarding her. But if Jess truly was wanting to do it and going to ask her i don't get why she cares about what color her hair is. Its not like Addie has anything important so eventually it would wash out or grow out. Or just leave it on for less time.

The thing is Addie knew she was in trouble. She went from one bathroom to another, she even was hiding behind the door. But all she has to do is give a few kisses and can destroy something else tomorrow. Addie is not going to be so cute when she's doing that when she's older.

Jess should really watch what her toddler is doing. She's not a first-time Mom. What if Addy had eaten the hair color, thinking it's candy? Another emergency visit, another danger for her. Be careful not to leave those mr. clean things out, once she ingests that, good luck trying to avoid consequences.

It stops being a parenting issue and starts being a safety issue. "What if Addy has dyed her hair?", what if she eats it and is unsupervised?

Once bright thing, she made Addy clean something.

I think its the round neckline that does nothing for her. I have large boobs (naturally, gah) and i avoid round high necklines for that reason.

Oh my, only now am done with watching the video. She addresses the criticism for her parenting. Wow, amazing, she chooses what she puts on camera. Yeah, when it comes to your own actions, you're suddenly very secretive about it. I swear, she's like every other Mom-vlogger out there. Filming her kids every move, including their failures, yet not showing her own.

But good, fine, I'm the first person to advocate for more privacy in vlogging. She doesn't want to film her punishing her kids, good! Very good actually. But then to turn around and pretend, like she does something completely different, once the camera is off, is BS. Everybody can see, that Addy hasn't been told a firm no forever.

The real issue here is that HAIR DYE SHOULDN’T HAVE BEEN LEFT OUT.

Of course the 3 year old got into it.... and yeah, she should use this stuff as a learning opportunity and teach Addie she needs to ask permission and all that...

But the problem isn’t Addie getting into the hair dye. Kids that little don’t really have impulse control and are JUST learning cause and effect (hence why everything needs to be a teaching moment). The problem is Jess just straight up leaving hair dye out and then acting shocked her kid got into it.

Honestly I wouldn’t be surprised if she purposefully sets this stuff up to happen.

This exactly! This is her 5th go-around with a 3-year old. (Not her 7th, as she claims.) i blame Mess for leaving it out. I also believe she left it out for her to get to, but didn’t expect Bratty to mess up the new house, and THAT pissed her off. Just another set-up for some dramatic content

This one is “not clickbait”..... so her others ARE clickbait?!

It’s just too bad she always has to post how perfect and easy her life is. Money isn’t an issue. No spousal arguments. No one there is exhausted, angry, frustrated, stressed, etc. She could be teaching her impressionable JesssFans, the other side of. the coin of parenting and family life. But then again, perfection is social media.

This 100 percent!!!! She also bathed Addy, coddled her, and dressed her before attempting to clean the bathroom. Like. What. Wouldn't she clean the bathroom first? I do agree that Addy had to help cleaning and that she should not have gotten more dye as to not reward her behavior--though I think Jesss's mindset was that she just didn't want to dye Addy's hair.

Other notable points: Did she have a children's mattress in her closet? And she's wild! She packed her hair dye with her blankets! What the hell?! That's insane.

She also made a big ass deal about it ALL DAY, showing Addie that acting out gets her the spotlight and her mom’s attention and time in the sea of chaos.

I also have a three year old and if I messed up and she got into something, I’d just say “oh look, now there’s a mess. You made the mess, so you have to clean it up. I’ll help you do it.” And I don’t disagree with Jess telling Addie it upset her - it’s actually really good to communicate emotions like that. You just have to be consistent. Addie was probably confused by her mom being super mad one minute but then thinking it was the world’s best joke.

So you address it, you provide a logical consequence (make the mess, clean it up), and then you MOVE ONNNNNNNN.

I've genuinely come back onto this website and logged on for the first time in YEARS to talk about this hair dye situation.

so much to unpack here, let's fucking go:

• WHY WAS THE HAIR DYE LEFT OUT UNSUPERVISED

• you can actually see Addelyn watching everything while Jess dyed Tommy's hair. hell of a missed opportunity to talk her through what's going on and explain that it's unsafe and she should ask mum first

• she's lying when she says she was downstairs for five minutes making Addelyn's lunch, she was there visibly talking to the camera for ages during that time

• I agree she shouldn't punish her kids on camera. Even showing the little bits of her crying was a bit much in my opinion. I think what she should have done is filmed the initial discovery and her rushing towards the other bathroom, turning the camera OFF as soon as she opened the door, then cut to a sit-down update explaining how she disciplined her and how Addelyn reacted.

I hope Addie gets her hands on a pair of kid-friendly scissors and chops her hair off to the point Messss has to give her a cute pixie cut and it takes another 3 years to grow out to her shoulders. She has said in several q&a that she doesn't enforce his support. That's another reason why Amber and Gabe probably let her walk all over them.
