just something i thought of but with their new farm and everything, who else thinks that they're never going to use their camper again? like having those type of animals requires basically everyday care and taking 2+ week long trips are basically impossible, idk i feel like angie's picturesque camping experiences didn't actually happen

yeah i thought of that too but she just hasn't seemed to mention any trips planned with it lately, hell i think the last time they used it was when they had their "a ha" moment when they stayed at angie's parents house and started to seriously think about moving out of their old house

That really wasn’t that long ago, though. They made that trip and immediately started prepping their old house to sell, house hunting, put theirs on the market, bounced around a bunch of Air BNBs, then moved. It was all very quick, rushed, and not well thought out.

I believe Angie, Ashleigh, and their Mom have a trip planned to Israel, though needless to say that wouldn’t involve the camper.

Time will tell. I imagine they are quite busy currently. They are creative and I’m sure will find ways to travel and have care for the animals.

Even when they first bought the RV, I was thinking it was going to be a short-lived thrill. The twins were small, but big enough to cosleep, and the other five kids were fine sharing the bunk area. But in one year, they added Benji, and Kennedy has grown up a lot (I once mistook for Grandnona, just from their height and long hair). I could see them taking small trips, 2-3 days at a time, but not weeks like they used to.

I think I saw one trip since they got the camper. Where/what others did they take?

I guess the move to somewhere in Africa for 'at least 6 months' is off the table for a while due to Covid and the farm. If her parents are retired and 10 minutes down the road they'll probably help out.

I didn't hear her mention grandnona was in town but saw her in a vlog. Where does she normally live?

I think it's really hypocritical of her to want to "protect" her children in vlogs but always use them for advertising.

The only RV trips I remember with certainty was the mega-trip down south that lasted 3 weeks or so, and they took a trip to Angie’s parents house where they slept in the RV. So, two trips that I recall, not including a couple “test” trips they took to get an idea of what they needed to improve.

To me, as a Brit, critters means things like bugs, ants, creepy crawlies etc.
Angie has animals not critters.

In her latest video you can tell she wants to say 'critters' but stops herself and says 'animals' instead lol

I’m from the US, for me, critters also means bugs and creepy crawly things. I think she has an aversion to calling them “livestock”, maybe that implies they are there for food purposes. Still, just “animals” or “farm animals” or even “barnyard buddies” sounds so much better.

I hope her parents are going to be at least 50% responsible for all the animals. I know they’re fun for the kids, but that is a lot of work they’ve just added to their plates. Not to mention each of the older girls has two animals that are primarily theirs.

Am I the only one terrified of the kids driving a golf cart unsupervised? Kennedy may be old enough to drive it, but she can’t control what her siblings do, god forbid they fall off or the whole thing flips. I’ve stumbled upon a dad on IG named Dugan Sherbondy, his then-7-year old was severely hurt in a golf cart accident in 2019. It doesn’t look like she’ll ever recover, poor little girl.

Ange loves herself so much that one personal channel wasn’t enough. She has turned This Gathered Nest into This Angie Show as well. I noticed a comment on her IG a while back about the kids not being in videos much. She said her channel was “always about her sharing her life” and not about the kids so much. Ummmm that’s not true at all. In the very, very beginning it was. But for years it was a family vlog, she even called it that, and the kids were front and center. I don’t know who she thinks she’s fooling or why. I guess the YouTube rules about kids caused the change. I noticed the same thing with Jamerrill. She used to show her kids all the time and then YouTube rules came along and suddenly she’s telling people that she’s always been a “mama cooking on the internet.” Just be truthful and say you want to respect your kids’ wishes or maybe that the issues at YouTube have caused you to rethink showing your children on the internet.

yeah i think with the new youtube rules, people like Angie don't have comments anymore because they are a "family channel," so in theory if they don't focus on their kids as much they should get comments back; I've seen other youtubers change their focus(or at least they say it) in order to seem like they don't focus on their kids
