I don't think they're a train wreck. The puppy thing was dumb, they could've gone at least a week but he owned up to his mistake, he took the blame and didn't block or delete any of the hate comments so that's a plus. Working with the Shaytards will grow his channel enormously so I can't see how that's a mistake.

So I like them. So far anyway. I don't watch daily but I do keep tabs. I have a feeling that getting rid of the puppy had something to do with them moving to Logan and working with Trixin. But it seems as if they've been thinking about Trixin for a little bit, because who would make the spur of the moment decision to move and work with a new company? With that being said, if they've been considering Trixin, then why bring a puppy into the mix. Seems like they just got mixed up in the emotions of getting a puppy. I want one too, they're so cute....and they are a lot of hard work. I don't have the time to put into a puppy. (My sister just got a puppy and my parents have to babysit it...not a smart decision) I'm interested to see how this plays out. Logan has a lot of YouTube people there now. I'm sure we will be seeing play dates with Jackson. B&M must be so jealous....it's great.

I'm a day or 2 behind but they got a silver lab supposedly from a backyard breeder. They realized after the fact that they didn't have the time, space or patience for it and gave it to a friend. It was all pretty hastily done in my opinion,

They said the dog was nippy...duh!! That's what puppies do! Especially breeds that grow to be big. A chew toy and reinforcement could've solved that problem.

It's an excuse. I think they gave the puppy away since they came across the opportunity! And holy shizz, Logan really is cheap! I looked up apartments in that area out of curiosity after how many times they said. I actually seen the apartment they were in. I even saw the ones that Shay's brother lives in.

Personally I really like Sam and Jen (and I'm definitely not Mormon just for the record) and I think people need to ease up on them over the puppy thing. I mean Sam owned up to his mistake, what more could you ask for?
Also I agree with the commenter who said why wouldn't they get involved with Shay's company. I mean there's subsribers grew by like 20,000 after Shay gave them a shout out.

For some reason though, I just can't get through a Samika vlog like I can the others (except the dailybums) lol

I agree, they're vlogs are boring. I only subscribed because of Playlist and now I'm watching cause I'm curious to see how the move will go.

I'm curious to see how working with Trixin will change/affect them and vice versa. Aren't they about the only two there that have college degrees and Sam until recently had a real adult job. I'm hoping they bring positive things to the company (that's honesty struggling because of the lack of experience/education of its founders) rather than having them become dumbed down and constantly promoting like the Butlers do.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I don't watch their vlogs everyday and have not seen it mentioned. Jennika has mentioned she "looks ethnic" in an old vlog, when wondering what Noah will look like. I have heard Sam speak in Spanish a couple of times but never her interacting with him, is she hispanic ? Or from a different ethnicity?

I believe Jenn's father side of the family is from Argentina. I also think her mother's family is part native american, but I could be wrong about that. Her father may be part native as well.

I was watching before they moved to Utah and then got bored with all the Trixin talk. I watched today though and thought Sam didn't seem as perky and happy as before. Was it just this one vlog, or is he like that now?

He's pretty upbeat still havent watched today. They are both pretty jokey and happy.

I just started watching them this past week. I end up FF a lot, which I never do when I watch Ellie and Jared.

They seem sort of immature. I can't believe he's the same age as Jared. Their house seems like a bachelor pad with all the guys playing video games. I don't mean to say I don't like them, I do. Just not as much as E+J.

I also think Sam is very cute, but he doesn't seem very affectionate with Jennika. Anybody else feel that way?

I was just catching up on the vlogs. I think it was watching the mother's day/birthday vlog and I thought it was odd how he was kinda ignoring her as she literally hung on to him. Maybe he just isn't affectionate on camera? It's weird for some people.

Maybe it's just his personality. I do feel like she tries to hug on him and stuff and he barely responds. There was on vlog when he came back from NY and she was so happy and trying to hug him and she said, "clingy wife alert!". It just made me kinda sad for her, because she shouldn't have to apologize for wanting to be affectionate.

He seems affectionate with Noah.

Totally agree with you. I don't think they are the worst, but sometimes they- especially Sam- come off as teenagers. I'm always surprised he's so much older than me. I never thought about the affection thing, but it's true! I never see them even hold hands. Or even Sam call Jennika sweet names but I am shy in public as well.

And yes they are the more boring ones out of all the family vloggers I watch, but they are sweet and Noah is so darn cute so I check in every once in a while.
