I hate when you say something you dislike about a mom (e.g i think if your child has a soother by 3 or 4 that its just lazyness that you havent taken it off them) and a poster starts saying oh well i done it with my baby and im not lazy blah blah blah. Its like A) i dont care about you B) you probably are lazy no matter what your excuse but as you dont put your life out there for everyone too see i wont judge you.

When people are arguing and someone gives a long post ended with "I'm done with this discussion, stop replying." But everyone wants the last word, so someone else replies and then the first person feels the need to respond with their opinion AGAIN. Bonus points if more than one person does the "here is my point of view, now no one else can respond." As someone with a rather sensitive temper, I find that letting someone have the last word is really difficult but the most effective way of ending a discussion before one of you says something you'll regret.

Not sure if this fits with the topic as it's more of a one time thing and not a common problem on YTMD, but it's bothering me how people are SO upset that none of the popular vloggers (especially Dailybumps) mentioned the SCOTUS gay marriage ruling. Yeah, they're mostly religious and maybe it's because they don't support gay marriage, but that's a big assumption just based off of what wasn't said in the vlog. I'm 100% supportive of gay rights and thrilled about the ruling, but I didn't post about it on any social media. That doesn't mean I'm homophobic. People are saying that Bryan and Missy would have reached so many people with their "message," are you expecting people to change their stance on gay marriage because the Dailybumps of all people say so? I know that much of their audience is impressionable youth but this really isn't an obligation of theirs. Especially because few vloggers have gay friends or family, the decision did not personally affect them as much as other people, and I wouldn't be surprised if they are simply unaware of how big of a deal this all was. I hate to sound like a minion making excuses for their ignorance, but people getting mad because they didn't talk about a news story is just so strange to me.

Ok, let me be clearer. There are several posters who are underage BUT act like mature adults. I don't have any issues with them. They aren't playing the "I'm going to say something super offensive and play the I'm just a kid stop being so mean to me card." Hopefully that is clear as mud.

Okay. I never said you don't know what love is. I said if you're fourteen year's old you're not in a real relationship? It's puppy love. You have no responsibilities because you are a child. Jessica and gabes relationship was puppy love. And when they finally got a responsibility (a HUGE responsibility a BB) the puppy love crumbled and died. they where never going to marry and if they did they wouldn't have lasted.

This is so accurate. I love the paragraph long reply, usually with unaddressed points and new stuff thrown in, followed by "Anyway, MOVING ON."

Sometimes I think we have to remind ourselves (myself included) that we're not writing a thesis paper, we're just shooting the shit about YT.

I just discovered the boxing ring so have been having a little snoop around. Kryptonite I can't believe you're a minor! You're very mature, I honestly thought you were in your late 20's/early 30's

My pet peeve is people who aren't nice to other posters for no good reason.
There's one poster in particular that I can't stand, every single post I've ever seen from them is either a snide unprovoked comment to another poster, or an ignorant, rude sweeping statement. They always voice their opinion in such a blunt, rude way which IMO is so unnecessary.
By all means have your opinion, but there's no harm in doing it in a nice way.
When I first got an account here I was a lot more immature than I am now, I was only 18 and thought this was a place to fight and argue.
Since being here for a while I finally discoveted that it isn't that at all, it can be somewhere for discussion, to hear different opinions and even make friendships. It's a much nicer vibe to the community when everyone is pleasant and friendly

I just like a healthy discussion, I swear.

I don't have any pet peeves here. Maybe just the fact that the website takes forever to load sometimes.

To anyone who is consistently having issues with another poster, PM them. I've ended up really liking some people I've argued with after talking to them through PM. Sometimes you really can't judge tone through words in a post. Most people here are quite understanding when you talk to them one-on-one.

I didn't realise we had this thread, need to check the boxing ring more often. I don't think I have many pet peeves for this site. It's the Internet and I frankly don't take anything to heart from the Internet.

But... I think my main pet peeves are,

the social media stalking- I roll my eyes and try not to have an aneurysm over some posters (coughjrgoldanyone?cough) who constantly harass YT people and come back here for approval. I've said this maybe countless times, this site is our domain to talk/discuss these mums. They have the choice to look or not. Do not harass them/send screen shots for gods sake.

the sentence " if you don't like it, don't read it" when your debating with someone over different opinions- I won't take you seriously, all that says to me is " I'm losing my side of the debate and don't wanna dig myself a deeper hole so I will just tell you to shut up so I don't look like a fool".

oh and just a mod pet peeve, double accounts people, stop doing that. I will shame you for being stupid.

I agree with Yue, the stalking is crazy. Some people take stuff way to fair. I also want to add adding family, friends, and coworkers makes you look like your crazy (like really fucking crazy)
