Yeah, apparently it was every DailyBumps thread. Image

On a side note, I am happy that this topic now exists so if people want to talk about their birth stories, etc, they can. What's the thing? Birth without fear? Post without fear ;)

I'll share the short stories of mine.

My daughter first. She's my second but her story is shorter lol. Due thanksgiving day of 2010... Preeclampsia, scheduled repeat c-section on November 18th at 7 am. I ran a ton of errands the day before because I had been in bed rest and still needed a ton of shit... Contractions started at around 11 pm on the 17th, called the hospital, Doctor said until they're 5 mins apart lasting 60 seconds (I was at about 10 mins apart lasting 45 seconds) and wasn't dilated at all on Monday) then just come in as planned, my check in Time was 5 am. They jumped to 6 mins apart lasting 50 seconds by 2 am, full blown labor. Got to hospital dilated to a 7 but she was a footling breech and they decided it could be sketchy to deliver her naturally especially if my water broke because the cord was already loosely wrapped around her neck so we went ahead with the c-section as planned and she was born at 7:03 am. They started earlier than my 7 am time by about 10 minutes because by then I was dilated to 8 and they didn't want it to become an emergency.
