hannahbanana wrote:Typical picture of Tayler trying to show off her shitty tattoo. How sad that she can't post a picture without having to mention how she's doing it all on her "own". Chuckie probably gave her some money. she's probably on the way to the dollar store to get the kids their Christmas gifts so she can save the rest for another tattoo.
She's wearing that nasty black hat. Probably Walmart Santa...but can't take the kids??

Honestly I hate those charities for this reason. Give clothes only, then people wouldn't abuse it so much

I'm sorry but that's a horrible thing to say. Some people truely appreciate and need those charities. I hate people like Tayler who abuse those charities.
My mom is part of those toy charities for low income families were you sponsor a child with a couple of gifts (I've sponsored some kids before) you wouldn't believe the amount of 'broke' parents who come in saying how their kids want an iPad or expensive electronics.
She posted a picture saying how she spent $350 on gifts, looks like she got a couple of pillow pets, guitar for jakoby, some frozen blankets, and a bag of clothes from the children's place. I wonder if she's saving any of that money for her tattoo fund.
We need to start tallying up how much money she spends and when so we can figure out what day of the month her welfare check comes in and how much it's for.

I'm pretty sure she goes every year. Hate the abuser, not the kids. We donate things to a few different kid's charities for Christmas. She could do so much better with Christmas if she set a budget and bought one item a month or something. I mean even Jess has a good plan for how to spend a smaller amount but get enough gifts for her now 6 kids. Doesn't have to be a lot of money, just a few good items.

I actually agree with twomommies about the whole toys thing. Don't get me wrong. I don't hate the charities nor do I hate the fact that they give children toys. And I think twomommies is saying something similar to the point I'm about to make. It's the fact that such charities that give toys are more likely to not reach everyone in true need because it also attracts people that aren't as in need or in need at all. Nine times out of ten, you'll get the same toy you could have bought at the store yourself for your kids through the charities versus that pair of Ugg boots. Meaning that people that might not be poor at all would be wiser to go and grab a toy from there to add to the pile than to buy it themselves then go out and buy whatever name brand or high priced item they want. Leaving that one family that hasn't been able to have a Christmas for their small children in two years without all that came with that bunch of goodies that person took just for the toy.
If clothes were all that were donated then people that could easily shoot for a name brand outfit would buy it themselves than risk getting a "frumpy" little top and pants because it wouldn't be worth the waiting in line. Leaving that family that just ran out of fitting clothes for their little one the opportunity to get something that year versus things running out. So it'd be nice for the charities just to give clothes out but children want more things than just what's practical. So for the people that are truly in need, it'd be nice to get a toy from those charities and then spend the money you get every month on things to survive or save for a rainy day. It's one of those things where you do it and just hope the right people get what they can. Otherwise, to keep the abusers away, you have to deprive those in need.
Controlling the toy to clothes ratio would be nice or having people have to show some form of identification but that would make the whole thing a lot more time consuming and would have adverse effects. It's just one of those things where you just have to hope someone that really needs gets because otherwise you're depriving people in need when trying to weed people that don't out.
Ugh. School has been kicking my butt so I've been MIA for forever. Despite that, I'm a bit upset that my last class before I graduate next year is pretty much over next week. Love and hate have never been so clearly outlined for something. How odd. Anyway, so I'll just jump in here.

Then we need rules so people who don't need them can't abuse them. Because they only help so many people.
I was assuming there were rules, and that you had to sign up through some agency beforehand. That's how these things work here. There's nothing where you just go stand in line and get something. Plus there are many different charities that do this, plus firefighters, police, etc. They identify the families who qualify based on need. No one gives or gets expensive electronics. But in relating this to Tayler, she could easily provide her kids with a decent Christmas all on her own if she wasn't so selfish and if she had an ounce of maternal instinct towards her kids. Tattoos above children? They'll be able to read about it on the internet themselves someday. Not that it won't be drilled into their brains by then anyway. Kids aren't dumb. They know when they aren't the main priority in their mom's life. They already know that dad doesn't really care.

It's like she feels the need to constantly start fresh or renew herself and immediately says "fuck it". She needs to break this habit and get off the fucking Internet. Quit sharing every detail about your shitty life and get "where you want to be". You sure as hell aren't gonna get there sitting on your ass and waiting for welfare to magically give you a raise every three months. Depending on Chuckies child support money will only make you feel shittier about yourself. How can you feel good about tattoos that were funded by your abusive (ex)husband? I hope she never has another child. Quit saying you have all these issues. I've seen literally mentally retarded people with degrees and jobs. She has no excuses.

My uncle has Down Syndrome and is more independent than Tayler. He has a job which he catches the bus to, he lives by himself and does a lot of things on his own. Him and his ex wife also have a better track record than Tayler and Chuckie and she was literally insane.
