lol yeah that's my comment they responded to. i love how many people agree with mespooky wrote:They rarely have Fin dressed appropriately; makes me cringe when he runs around in a diaper or a onesie and the rest of the family is dressed for the mountden. It's okay though, as one of the YT comments stated: "Finley is very short, he's only one. The length from his knees to his ankles is not very long. Shorts for Finn is basically the equal to pants "Playsinrain wrote:So aside from the day being so sad...
Ollie chooses shorts to wear but Bryan tells him its too cold for those and they should get some pants.. next scene? Finn walking around in a shorts and short sleeve onesie.. so i guess it's just to cold for the golden boy Dudley, not Finny Potter?
Phew! So glad I don't have to worry about Fin being cold anymore.

But she wasn't panicked about losing her wallet. She was panicking because her precious phone might die.whys0seri0us wrote:I'm sorry but I completely understand why she cried. She even said when she was crying about how she doesn't know why she's so ditzy, she was clearly frustrated with herself.
I would have had a full blown panic attack if I was in her situation. I double check my purse for my keys and wallet every time I leave the house or leave somewhere. She would definitely benefit from making a habit of doing the same.
I also want to point out that she seemed to vlog a lot while she was upset and I think it's because vlogging kind of felt like a comfort.
I absolutely get being upset and frustrated. Traveling is hard. But she is 27 years old and acts like a child. Does this "I'm so ditzy I can't do anything alone" bit get her attention and reinforcement? Because it sure seems like it does.
And I notice these people (her and Ellie mostly) seem to toss around words like "anxiety" in ways that get them more attention. It makes it seem disrespectful to people who deal with actual anxiety. Lots of people get anxious when they travel alone. That doesn't mean that they _have_ anxiety.

As much as she looks at her phone, you'd think she would have realized she could use Apple Pay to buy things much sooner. I assume she never uses it. It makes things much easier, especially when you're in a hurry.

Once upon a time, didn't Missy proclaim to be a super ontop of it type of person? Am I making this up? She's become to pitiful and helpless in the last 3 years. So gross.

Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
What if Missy is pregnant and that's why she was emotional in the last vlog and cried? I mean, it could just be that she really is just crying about the flights, lost wallet, phone, etc. But this is just something to think about...ehh what do I know?
Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
I admit, I would cry if my phone were dead and I had no charger, because I don't know many numbers by heart. Especially if my flights were delayed, I'd be upset that I can't contact anyone to tell them I'd be late. Missy, however, had the charger and her phone was ALMOST dead. She was crying because she can't live without a phone.
She is very irresponsible with her wallet. Literally, the moment I leave a checkout line, I peek in my purse to make sure my wallet is there. At night, I check things in my wallet that I didn't even touch to make sure they're there!
I would probably cry in her situation, too, but I'm a highly emotional person and I panic easily. Missy doesn't have strong emotions at all, but she cries over THIS? She may be dramatic and incapable of doing things alone, but it's weird. I hate to say it, but she's either PMSing/on her period, pregnant, or upset about something bigger. Coming home from the shower of a friend who's having a girl, maybe?

Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
I really don't think she was crying because she couldn't play on her precious phone. That's a bit of a stretch.
She was panicked. She thought she was stranded, without money or a way to contact someone to fix everything for her.
I don't doubt the sincerity of her panic.
But.
Someone her age should be able to have their freak out and then take control. It's one thing to have a bit if a cry and then take stock and regroup. It's another thing all together to be rendered completely helpless. Something like this happens to her literally EVERY time she's without Bryan or her parents. She can't cope with anything.
She shouldn't need to be coddled so much. By this point she should just KNOW that she loses things, and take steps to avoid that. Put a chain on your wallet and attach it to your belt/purse. Don't keep your phone in your tiny back pocket. Keep 20 bucks and a card with phone numbers in your shoe. Keep a back up charging stick loaded and in your bag.
You know, boring adult things.

Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
The panic over her phone being ALMOST dead is what has me rolling. She was clearly about to have a mental break bc she cant be on her phone the entire time. I might be a little upset if mine was completely dead, but she had access to a charger and was still freaking the hell out. Just the shear thought of being without it was enough to break her down. Surely she knows her home number, or bryan's cell or mimi and poppa's number by heart... Sure i have a ton of phone number stored in my phone and could not tell you my two best friends numbers off the top of my head but you better believe that i know our house, my husband, both the kids, my mom and my stepdad's numbers by heart. She has no excuse to be so upset over a phone except for the fact that shes attached to it more than she is her husband. She didn't seem that upset about anything else except the phone, like the wallet and her being hungry were afterthoughts.. she lost her wallet after she bought wifi on the pIane, so she had been using her phone the entire flight? lol shes just a hot mess. I would be a little upset if i were her too, but my phone being dead would be the last of my worries. Plus when Bryan talks it up about it being such a sad vlog.. the fuck it was.. it was your wife whining about some major first world problems.lmmomSD wrote:But she wasn't panicked about losing her wallet. Everyone is exactly right when they say that everyone around her is the reason she is freaking out and cannot handle being alone. It's a struggle for her to do anything on her own, today's vlog is a testament to that.

Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
Stranded at the San Francisco airport - the home of Apple and Silicon Valley??? I know you're joking, but 'cmon? She's a millionaire. Her worse case scenario would have been staying at a nearby upscale hotel and getting an early morning flight. SFO has literally more than 1000 free phone/device charging stations. Her delay was only about two hours. She acted as if she was alone in a dangerous foreign country for a week!Theirmom wrote: She was panicked. Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
Having grown up without technology clearly didn't give Missy any additional life skills. I mean seriously, how is she ever going to teach her children to problem solve, or "think outside the box" if she's so incapable? Answer... she isn't. It's only a matter of time before they experience a power outage, run out of gas on the side of the road (and Papa is too busy to help) or forget to bring the iPad on a shopping trip and the boys lose it. You'd think they've never experienced real trauma before.
It's crap like this that really make me question the details of Gabriel's birth. If all happened as they said it did, you'd think it might have given them a little more perspective about real adversity.

All Father of the Year, Bryan, said was, "Lets not shoot people. Go shoot some dinosaurs, ok?" Bryan should tell him without a doubt that it's never ok to shoot people! Asking, "ok?" every time he attempts to tell Ollie something gives Ollie the option to say no! Parenting 101!
I hope to God that we are not looking into a Magic Ball & this is the last time he points a gun at his family members & friends!

Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
So I'm watching the vlog and I have to admit that in missy's situation I probably would've panicked/cried too. The combination of losing the wallet and not having the charger and not having eaten and missing the flight would've overwhelmed me. But I have an anxiety disorder.
Brian's dramatics during the vlog and on twitter are what made me laugh. Watching the vlog I can see why he deleted his tweets; they weren't warranted. Telling people their logic is flawed and acting like a terrible tragedy happened. He knew that no amount of editing the vlog would make it look like that big of a deal so he decided to pretend he never said anything.

I just hope this is a wake up call, she is so used to mimi and papa coming to bail her out, how many times have they ran out of gas? forgot something etc.. she was just talking about losing her wallet the other day.
Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
I can't believe the total lack of emotion from Ollie to Corbin at 3:15 in today's vlog. That kid is a ZOMBIE. I will also forever defend my opinion that he is on the autism spectrum (many children that are are verbal and can be in regular classes, but have slight social problems such as not showing proper emotions in correct situations, not making eye contact, etc.).
I'm also not surprised at Bryan throwing in that Ollie could be Juniper's first kiss... and then Corbin says "Well I don't know about that"
WHY constantly push girls/sexuality/gender stereotypes onto your child? He'll have enough time to deal with that when he's older. Bryan seems so desperate to have a "cool kid" that he doesn't realize his child will be worse off in the long run because of how he is raising him.

Re: DailyHomeImprovements: Part #81
It's hard to muster any sympathy for missy, even in this situation. With anyone else I would feel bad for them. Unlike Missy most people would know how to get out of the situation by thinking and executing an easy plan, but not Missy. It is so much easier to whine and complain and stop your feet. These two are entitled assholes.
