Cassie showing Ollie how to climb on top of the grotto was not a smart idea. I can just see him doing that when no one is looking.
Watch her kids? Like when she watched Finn almost skate down the hill and only turned when Ollie screamed his name?

I don't know. With Missy mentioning that she can just jump into the water and grab the boys rather than they falling into the empty pool. And that time they "tested" Oliver. It's not a nice thing to think about but more watchful parents than Bryan and Missy have had children drown because they lost sight of their kids for just a few minutes.

Fin is probably okay for the moment, but doesn't he have a door that connects to the yard in his bedroom (please correct me if I'm wrong)?
They had a pool fence with the old one but I have no idea if it's a law that it's mandatory to have one if you have kids. However, knowing them they probably ordered a new one they haven't installed yet.

Why did she have to force Finn to go down the slide? He's a year and a half old ffs.. and the arm floats he had on were not appropriate for his age.

And is it a salt water pool? Because I think you can go without chemicals in that...but if it's normal...they should really wait for the chemicals. They could really get hurt swimming around with fresh chemicals.
In a new pool you can't add chlorine to the water for the first week and salt for more like 3 weeks.

I've heard that pool guys (maintenance) and contractors are often at odds because people will listen to their maintenance person say things are fine, when in all actuality they aren't. You need to take instruction from the person that installed the product first and foremost because they it isn't necessarily ready for use until they say so and can void the warranty.
Ahhh, okay!! Isn't it a little dangerous to swim in an untreated pool? I mean, I highly doubt there's going to be parasites or bacteria in there already, but it's better to be safe than sorry. Especially because who knows what they'll drag in...wouldn't shock me if they walk through the chicken coop and then go for a swim :?

And I'm not surprised about that. You should definitely always listen to who installed it because they would know if it's okay or not.

I don't like the new pool. Lol Not that my opinion matters! But it's doesn't look like a pool that you invite family and friends over to swim in with their kids. It looks more like an adult pool than a pool for the kids. I guess it makes sense for when the kids do get older but ehh. The rocks is want is scaring me. Who wants to swim in a house pool next to rocks?

And of course they have shown Ollie how to climb on the rocks even though that is extremely dangerous. I hope they put their pool fence back up.

That pool is very ugly, i think the starfish make it look even more tacky. How hard would it have been to just add a slide to the old pool?
Also missy sounded like such a brat saying how the grotto would be good so the wind wouldn't make them cold. Tell that to Ellie and jared who walk through the SNOW to get in their hot tub lol

Ooookay, time for me to chime in on the "pool".

I live in SC. I grew up with a pool and we just built a pool last year. Whatever it is that Missy and Bryan just built....yeah it's a neat little water slide/grotto/hot tub "thing", but I wouldn't classify it as a legit pool. You can't actually do laps in that thing! Not that Missy and Bryan actually do real swimming by any stretch of the imagination, but it's so curvy and bumpy and actually quite narrow. Someone mentioned the distance between the ledge and the other side of the pool is quite short...correct.

If I tried swimming laps in that thing, I would be afraid of hitting the curved sides/rocks. There's nowhere to flip and turn around! There doesn't seem to be enough shallow end for the kids to play in. Kids need the shallow water to walk in and play games in!

And GODDDDDDD, one of those children are going to slip on those rock faces and bust their nose in or break an arm. No diving board, no ladders...I know those aren't mandatory, but I like my nice, boring, L-shaped pool. It looks great, we have a deck/pergola, landscaped area around the pumps, and it's SIMPLE. Non of that techno-crap they've got going on that TRUST ME, will constantly cause problems. The more parts you have, the more that can and will go wrong.

I hope they ruin it.

They were outside, and Finn and Ollie were playing around, Ollie on his bike, and Finn rolling around on the skateboard, and Missy was standing with her back to them, yammering on about her pool problems, and Finn started rolling down the driveway, completely unnoticed by Missy, until Ollie hollered "No, Finn!" I guess he earned his quarter. Missy turned around and laughed it off "He's such a little daredevil". If he's a "daredevil", that means you have to pay attention to him!

This is ridiculous. Don't put your naked kid on the internet, but bathing suits? Come on. I suppose tank tops and shorts are also pedo bait. Or gymnastic and figure skating costumes.

There reaches a point where you just have to accept that pervs gonna perv, and there's only so much you can do to mitigate that before it becomes overkill.

Im not criticizing... I watched a 'why I dont film family pool days' video before the bumps today.. just saying the pool will be paid off faster than you'd think.
Also, what a turd Missy is.. smart mouthing off about a pool that needs to be finished.. then goes, "oh if you're wondering why in not in.. I don't like to be cold"
And Bryan- we all saw you can't get your knees to your chest for the cannonball form, bruh.. didn't fool me

Someone is going to get seriously hurt... bust a head open or break their face then how much are they going to love that stupid pool? The edge of that water slide looks sharp too and it's not far across from the other side of the pool. When Bryan went down with Ollie I thought Ollie was going to keep flying right across into the other side. And you have to climb over a barrier of rocks to get to the waterfall above the grotto or whatever. Someone's going to have an accident on that. Probably Finn. Poor Finn. I hope he doesn't get hurt.
