Once a heartbeat has been found, the chances of a loss is pretty low. Twins are a higher risk pregnancy but she will be followed closely I’m sure.

They say that, but everyone I know, including myself that’s had a miscarriage, they found the heartbeat at 6-7 weeks and then the baby passed. So I don’t really trust those stats anymore

Yes I had an ultrasound at 6 weeks 4 days and saw the heartbeat and I had a miscarriage the next day.

That question, was not posted on an appropriate time though, just after she confirmed she is having twins...
we know she has been pregnant for a while and the majority here said it should be twins, but it was not confirmed. Why nobody asked this question at that point?
I think I am going back to be a silent participant on this forum, as you do not appreciate different opinions.
I knew it, her IVF journey has mirrored my own, starting with our 19-week losses. Having twins was the end of my journey, though, we are done at three. My twins were born early, two weeks ago, at 34 weeks. They are both healthy and home, after 8 and 12 day stays in the NICU. It was a hard pregnancy, more so emotionally. We weren’t trying for twins but we had to be prepared for it, choosing a two-embryo transfer. The supplemental hormones messed with my emotions badly, I had a painful SCH bleed at 7 weeks that I thought was a MC, both babies had cord insertion complications that thankfully didn’t affect them. There’s so much potential for clickbait for Rach, I hope she is tasteful about how she shares developments.
She has an opportunity to really delve into this stuff, but she absolutely won’t because she’s too into living a fake life. Money doesn’t exist in their world, jobs/careers don’t matter at all. Their family just “is”, like a plastic family in a doll house. Nothing affects them, they don’t have any relatability because they’re too busy hiding behind the BS. They have to be secretly shaking in their boots over this, I sure as hell would be if I had a husband that didn’t work and a money pit house that I can’t afford. And I would feel pretty stupid for buying that overpriced house one month before a potentially life-changing embryo transfer. Now she’s stuck in a 3 BR retirement farm, with two more kids on the way.
Anyway, sorry this post is all over the place, it took me a couple hours to finish it with all the cluster feeds and poop diapers happening around here. I wish them well, I just don’t want to feed into it.
I’m really hoping it’s a boy and a girl, because then she can’t call herself a “girl mom” but also loses out on being able to make the twin super twinny.

For some reason I can’t find the post to quote it, but I totally agree with it being odd that her first reaction both times was to try to almost pit Emma against the new babies? I’m pregnant now, and my daughter is 1 1/2, I have never once thought to be like “you’re going to be sooooo jEaLoUs” just seems incredibly odd to me. Poor Emma is going to have to compete for attention, already. Breaks my heart.
Poor poor soul. I have ivf twins and I love it so much but I also don’t have any other kids and I’m also a strong women and don’t complain about everything. It’s incredibly hard to have twins. She in for it.. you think she complains now? Just wait
