Re: Samika? Part 1
Has anyone watched David's draw my life. Pretty intense. He was my favourite sibling before but he just earned more of my respect now.

Re: Samika? Part 1
I did. I subscribed to him right from the start. I found it very moving and it was good to see he took control of his life and did what he needed to better himself and it sounds like he's on a good pathgenericusername wrote:Has anyone watched David's draw my life. Yesterday's vlog was nice sam is good at editing and Jens little speech about how great sam is seemed really genuine. I feel like these guys arnt as popular because they are a nice, normal, drama free family. It's more fun to hate watch for some people

Also DP to add, I like that they are on top of safety. Making Noah wear a helmet riding indoors.

I loved that Sam acknowledged MLK day as more than just a day off. They really are good people.

I don't think _anyone_ else mentioned it, at least among family vloggers. Good for him!

well the Nive Nulls did but... They were a little smug and self righteous about it.lmmomSD wrote:I don't think _anyone_ else mentioned it, at least among family vloggers. Good for him!

Re: Samika? Part 1
They are so much more practical. They will have PJ in their room with them does first bit like most parents, then eventually move Noah into toddler and PJ into Noah's crib. Which is what most of us parents would do, which makes them way more relatable.
E and J Bought two NEW cribs and they switched jacksons into toddler before Calvin was even in his crib (Calvin still sleeps with them). That was a majors waste. Same with daily bumps, they didn't reuse ollies crib got a whole new one.

Plus, the way they talked about buying a house-- how they want to be sure they're going to stay in the area, and other considerations. Can't stand most family vloggers (my daughter watches them, not me) But these guys are growing on me. And I just want to hug Noah. Those chubby cheeks!

Re: Samika? Part 1
I wonder if they are more relatable because they haven't lived that "perfect life" so there's no image to present. Jenn's parents split, they didn't have much money, and David went through a really rough patch that must have effected all of them.

Is their neighbor married? Taio's (sp?) mom? Does her husband just work a lot? I'm sorry if it's been discussed before but I started watching them again after the friendship was formed and was curious about her.

I'm pretty sure Tau's parents are married. His dad is away a lot. Tau's mom seems like a sweet lady.rdt1004 wrote:Is their neighbor married? Taio's (sp?) mom? Does her husband just work a lot? She seems shy and quiet on camera but she does seem sweet. I love her laugh.Lovethesnark wrote:I'm pretty sure Tau's parents are married. His dad is away a lot. Oh my gosh the footage of when sam was a baby was sooo cute! He really does look like his dad! Haha they had the same hair and everythingn
Re: Samika? Part 1
How much do you think sam makes with Trixin? What does he do again? Does he do like the technical trouble shooting or something for the website/customers? That's just what I remember him saying when he first started the job- he said he was doing something similar as his old job.

Re: Samika? Part 1
Does anyone watch Sam's sister (the Glass Posse) in NYC? She definitely seems like an older mom. Sometimes she's cool but there's been a few times where you can tell she's trying things she found online but only halfway. She also seems to buy a lot of very high end makeup for someone who doesn't use all that much anyway.

Re: Samika? Part 1
I struggle with Kristy, sometimes I like her, other times she bothers me horribly. I hate the way she lets Pippa roam free in NYC, she has said before she gets a lot of flack about her parenting when in public. If others are coming up to you saying things about how your children are behaving, there is a problem!
