It is also way better for her to be active and doing what she loves rather than being too cautious. If they feel something is off they can seek medical treatment at any time along the road. I'm sure they will do what's right for their baby at any cost.
And people gave birth for centuries without having ultrasounds and doctor appointments every other week. They still do in less industrial countries. My mom never had an ultrasound, and neither did anyone else in her generation. As long as she's healthy and taking care of herself and eating right, and her doctor says it's ok, it's not a problem. If something is wrong, being at home isn't going to make a difference, unless it's something requiring bedrest. And if that happens, I am sure she'll skedaddle home.

Agreed, what they are doing might be not the norm for us in the western world, but shes not compromising her heath or her baby's.. Her dr can't stop a miscarriage any more than any other dr she would see if some sort of emergency arose. She might be unconventional but shes not being risky what so ever.

I don't know if it's risky per se in the sense that she's putting the pregnancy at risk (I'm not a doctor, and I've never been pregnant, so not much of an expert on that) but it is risky in the sense that there are a lot of things that need to be planned and paid for and I don't think they're weighing those responsibilities appropriately.

He's not working full-time, as they've previously disclosed. She's not working full-time. Their channel isn't profitable enough to support a family of three. They don't have a place of their own to live. Who is paying for this child? How are they going to find a midwife in Oregon if they're not in Oregon? It just doesn't add up.

Just started today's vlog, and good grief they don't even know that North Carolina is in the south. Well, they did go to the same high school as Bryan and Missy, so...

Really ya'll.... Zika? I'm glad they're not coming to my city now. They would probably skip over all the good parts.

I thought the only cases of zika here were people that had traveled to other countries and came back with it?

I looked it up, and the only place where Zika has been contracted without traveling in the US is Florida. California actually has more cases of travel related Zika than my state. Just say ya'll are cutting the trip short, but Zika is a pretty poor excuse to cut out a whole part of the country.

I can't believe they called 911 for a non-emergency advice situation. I'm sure there would have been some other local agency to call...even the closest park services or something. Shouldn't it have been obvious what they were supposed to do in a storm? Generally a car is not that unsafe of a place to be during a thunderstorm.

I think they are heading home.. They just have to get back across the country. I know they have whatever it is in AZ they are heading too but after that it seems like home is the destination.

Kelsey is so over it... lol
It was awfully sweet when she realized she had been feeling the baby. That made me smile from ear to ear, such an exciting thing for a mom to be. :)
The storm bit was so redic. You can tell they are PNW folks, they have no idea how to deal with a big storm. Where i live is actually more active than Tornado Alley, (Dixie Alley...) and they had me

Well, they are geographically challenged, so maybe they're unaware that Alabama and Louisiana aren't the same thing as Miami Beach. I think traveling down the road in that junk heap is more dangerous than the risk of contracting Zieka in Alabama or Louisiana. The CDC has recommended that pregnant woman not travel to Miami-Dade County. That's it.

They are less than smart. That 911 call over a severe thunderstorm warning was proof of that. And then they didn't even want to take the advice of the 911 operator! lol I hope that was fake but somehow I doubt it.

That's ridiculous. Thunderstorms might be rare in the PNW, but they do happen, and even without thunder, you get wicked strong storms. Our power got knocked out regularly in Washington. I gotta know, but I don't want to watch. Did the 911 operator laugh at them?

the storms you guys get must not be anything like the storms we get here in the south and in the midwest. The vlog today showed them in a nasty storm again and i agree it was a pretty bad one but they are losing their minds. I would have just been sitting there watching and admiring it (although i am a weather nerd, love storms, extremely fascinated with tornados. Always wanted to be a storm chaser, RIP Tim Samaras)
Personal: We bought a brand new car in April, I had to drive it home from the dealership about 2 hours away. It had 6 miles on it when i drove it off the lot and i ran into the WORST storm i have ever driven in, in my entire life. Sideways rain, crazy close lightening and hail the size of nickles to ping pong balls that was so thick it looked like it had snowed. I was following my husband and we were on the freeway going 20 mph bc visibility was down to nothing, honestly i couldnt even see my headlights. We just kept rolling on bc we knew the further we went we would run out of the storm. I was white knuckled on the wheel the whole time but i was more upset that i was in this awful hail storm in my brand new car!!!!!! As soon as it cleared we pulled over to a gas station to check for damage and THANK GOD zero damage. (I learned from my insurance guy that unless the hail is HUGE like baseball size, you should keep moving in you car as much as possible. Don't pull over and stop unless you have too bc moving cars dont get damage like a parked one would, the air flow helps the hail slide over the car instead of a huge impact) ANYWAY, point is i didn't call 911 and freak out bc of a storm. They didn't show what the 911 operator said, i sure they were amused... not..

I love thunderstorms too. Thanks to my dad the Navy man telling me how exhilarating and exciting thunderstorms at sea are. I can't get over adults being terrified. Unless of course, they are stuck outside with nowhere to go.

Part of me kinda understands leaving the campground to head somewhere where they have a building to get into in case it gets really bad, but leaving the entire state, driving all day and night on a day they were planning on relaxing for most of the day JUST bc of a bad thunderstorm is a little OTT. I mean even Kelesy was saying "oh storm is over have a great rest of your day!!" That's how storms work Kels, they come and then they leave... Ride it our and enjoy the rest of the afternoon.

Haha, I'm just watching them with a mix of amusement and abject horror that these people are real. For their sake, I hope this is just click bait in an attempt to bring their numbers back up. They just seem so unprepared and so unknowledgeable. He needed people in the comments to tell him to go to an auto parts store to buy a replacement gas cap.

They're going to the Bumps too, according to Bryan on Twitter
