I'm super annoyed about their renovation and insurance BS.

I may be being childish, but it just hits a sore spot with me. In August of 2016 my area got hit with MAJOR flooding. An entire parish(county) was underwater and majority of the surrounding parishes saw flooding as well. I'm talking most people had water in their attics. My house was on the edge, but I still got four feet in my house. The water rose so fast there wasn't much time for preparing, I loaded up necessities in my truck and hauled ass. Lost everything else and within a week I also lost that truck because I had to drive through deep water to get to safety. My grandparents live in the same neighborhood as me, they got four feet as well. My parents less than five miles away got two feet. None of us were in flood zones so insurance wasn't a factor for us, and we got pennies from FEMA. Most of the restoration we did out of pocket. And here this chick is, getting damn near everything DONATED to her, and insurance money, and she is certainly coming out on top with all the upgrades.

Not one whisper of her putting any money or materials towards any type of charity or cause. That's one thing I'll say about the flooding we experienced, charity was NOT in short supply.

I'll own that I'm taking this too personally, but dammit I just can't help feeling like she's taking advantage of the generosity of all these companies by accepting the donations while also pursuing an insurance settlement.

Ugh I’m so sorry that happened to you, your family and community. It’s really frustrating to watch them just sit back and accept all this stuff. If she was truly the giving person she claims, she would’ve donated a lot of the stuff to those in need. They can certainly afford their own couch, furniture and paint. I know it’s kinda silly to donate paint, but she totally could’ve donated the furniture they received to flood victims, etc. It does seem like they’re really taking advantage of the system.

I dont think shes as selfish as other YouTube's. The video she posted today about giving thousands of dollars to people that wrote her was really nice and you never see other YouTube's do that. Of course everyone probably could give more than what we do but she got a free couch and paint from a company that she worked with. Its not like she got a fully furnished free house.

I'll agree she does a fair amount of charity and giving back to her viewers, more so than most YouTubers I've seen, and that's great. I applaud her and I've kept patronizing their channel because overall I like the family. But that doesn't change that they're getting an upgraded living room for next to free while also taking a full payout from insurance. I feel that, as I said before, they are taking advantage of the generosity of these companies(possibly under false pretenses, I can't imagine she disclosed that she is taking an insurance payout to the companies who've donated to her).

So some companies are being nice and sending them free things after a tragedy... I feel like if companies were doing that for me and we were also getting insurance money, I would take all the help I could get, honestly. I think it comes down to the fact that all of this happened quickly and unexpectedly and she's probably just glad to be getting some help, some free help at that. Yes it doesn't seem like they need and could probably afford everything without it, but who are we to say for sure. I think it's nice that they're getting blessed with some free stuff.

I wish she'd label the vlogs TTC update and not Infertility update. She has not be diagnosed with infertility. If she were infertile her Dr would be giving her more of a plan then get busy this week and I'll see you in 2.

WOW. She couldn’t even go get dan a thoughtful gift. She gave him something that google sent them. This is getting outrageous with the sponsorships and brand deals
Also, forde is annoying AF In that video. He doesn’t shut up and keeps interrupting them. They just ignore and keep talking over him yelling. They really need to work on that with him, or it’s only going to get worse

Elle is either fine with being dishonest or is getting desperate. She periodically tags her videos with other more popular youtubers probably to generate views of people trying to find their channels.




Why else is she tagging her stuff with tanner fox, dome and crissy, mark dohner, cole and savannah, slyfox, jacksfilm etc? She never mentions these in her videos but they're mysteriously in her tags? um.... OK?!?!

They’re relationship is so weird. Like they don’t seem to flow very well together. They’re very opposite, which can work well but I think Elle nags dan a lot. He seems laid back enough not to let it get to him too much. Just seeing them interact over the lip plumping thing was awkward. It’s almost like she insisted on kids so she wouldn’t have to interact with him much lol. Seems like she settled because she was getting older and needed someone ASAP

I don't know that I agree that those are answers. Those are structural things that were in place for previous conceptions where they didn't have trouble. I don't get why now all of a sudden those would be playing a huge factor?

I agree that this update wasn't really anything new besides that they will be monitored. I really feel like she is grasping to hold on to this infertility title. Obviously only having one tube will make it more difficult to conceive but it doesn't mean you are infertile. I know we don't know exactly how long they have been trying but I think she should be grateful that the drs are already talking iui and she just needs to be patient. That's not usually the first step. She knew this month was a right month and obviously wouldn't know yet when the update was filmed if she is pregnant. I think they are hyping up all of this and are hoping for a "we beat infertility Valentine's baby miracle, God is good"
