I definitely think that Tal and Jeff will be included on the trip. Jeff and Bryan are joined at the ahem hip. I guess the question that we probably wouldn't get an answer to is will DB pay for everyone's flight and accommodations?

I don't think Missy gets excited about these DBEJCK vacations. Her parents are usually not invited and she has to parent her own kids. If Jeff and Tal go, then at least she can pass Finn to them.

Everyone is letting their hate for the bumps fog their memory.

Failure to progress? Yes. Failure to descend? Yes. Missy calling the shots? Bullshit.

It was her shitty midwife that kept pushing her to try a little longer, try new positions and to try to reposition Finn. There was no bragging about going against medical advice. She was listening to her midwife team, who gave her terrible guidance.

And yeah, she was sad that the doctors rushed Finn away. She never said she was mad, or had an angry rant about the doctors. She expressed that after two days of labour, no sleep, an unexpected c-section and a traumatic delivery of a distressed newborn that she was anxious and just wanted to be with her baby. And when she first held him she was overcome with unspeakable guilt and sadness that waiting so long caused him pain.

She's not a heartless bitch. For all her faults, you can tell watching that birth vlog that she was in emotional turmoil after the birth. She wept when she held her baby.

Seriously, y'all so blinded by hate that you fabricate false stories of the Bumps and repeat them until they become fact in these forums.

How long until the "Nancy is an alcoholic" story starts making the rounds again. I was hoping this place would get better in the six months I stopped coming here...

Watch her video called "Emotional Birth Story!" On her own personal channel. She says earlier in video they explained his position being wrong then @ 11:10 she says they told her "you really need babies head to push on your cervix for.it to progress. There really is no point in pushing your body or baby any further it is time for us to do a csection. She said in response "that might be the next step but l want to try for a couple hours to try and move this baby if l can.Put me in what ever position l don't care." I call that going against medical advice because you want your way. I am not blinded by hatred nor did l fabricate anything. I have been in her exact shoes 2x almost down to the detail. She thought she new better than the Dr's and it bit her in the butt. When the Dr's said "there is no point in pushing your baby or body any more" you listen. She then in the same video bitches they took Finn away and that they should have thought about it and let him nurse not wisked him away for an hour. You know what, the emotions of the mother are not their biggest concern when a newborns head is double in size due to swelling and he could potentially have bleeding on the brain. Who does she think she is. Yes it's her baby but guess what she would have done if they didn't error on the side of caution and ensure he was okay before giving him to her and heaven forbid something went terribly wrong. She's the worst combination- ignorant and arrogant. I have not always hate watched her...l watched her couple years loving their videos. The last year-1.5 yrs they have changed so much they have become awful. I still watch occasionally because l think their kids are adorable and mainly because my preteen loves watching them. In terms of you checking back to see if we have changed on this board- this is not a fan page so l am not sure what your expecting...

This was a GOSSIP site long before the petty nitpicking and hate mongering started. An influx of "seen the light" minions showed up and wanted to vent their newfound hatred and drove out all the moderate posters.

It's fun to gossip. It's obnoxious to nitpick over every benign detail.

But keep on keeping on. I'll see myself out again.

After everyone has rehashed the details regarding his position, doctor's advice, etc, I definitely agree with you more now. I still wouldn't blame her 100% though, if her midwives, who are supposed to have some level of experience and knowledge, were telling her it was okay to try and change the baby's position before giving up and going to c-section. There is so much judgment out there regarding having to resort to c-sections and it seems like Youtube moms in particular really push the idea of natural birth being better, so I get how it could be a bit confusing, even if I think it's stupid and frankly ignorant (and after 30+ hours of labour after induction, I was jumping on a c-section, holy pain relief!)

I definitely do agree though that the way Missy acted and the videos she put out after "her" birth, gives the impression that her motivation was all about her. Did she even once say she was just happy to have a healthy baby, or that they were both alive? All I remember is her going on about how she was traumatized, being vague about it for months and months, and then a video where she said she was still mad about how the doctors took Finn away before letting him nurse, to check that he was okay, but that they "should have known" he was okay without doing that. I can't go back to get a direct quote now though, as hubby bitches way too much if he hears their videos, lol.

The only thing i saw special about it was that Ollie only got two pieces of candy. With the title and thumbnail i was expecting a whole bag of sweets. I was pleasantly surprised.

Am I the only one that remembers all the castor oil she took while pregnant with Finn? Sorry but doing something as stupid as that shows that you're NOT putting your baby first. It's common knowledge how dangerous that is.

I'm sorry, but I'm getting sick of being accused of _hating_ Missy and Bryan just because I don't agree with someone's opinion of them. A blanket statement that we all hate them here is ridiculous. Isn't it possible that this gossip page has gotten worse because Missy and Bryan have gotten worse? Sure, sometimes there's nitpicking, but most times it's just us observing the seriously stupid things these two do. I can only speak for myself, and I can say my criticism of them isn't hate. It's that I'm dumbfounded by Missy and Bryan's behavior on an almost daily basis, and I'm concerned about how they are raising those boys. My daughter and I met them once in real life, but we don't _know_ them, so we don't hate them. Hate is too strong of an emotion for people we don't even know, and it takes too much energy. I have been watching Missy and Bryan again recently out of a sort of morbid curiosity LOL and I just come here to vent after I watch that nonsense. I don't hate on them, and I'd appreciate it if the posters who keep saying we hate them would stop with that accusation.

It's one thing to criticize them, it's another thing to flat out make shit up. Like the comment right above yours about the castor oil. Dislike of them has created some incredibly selective memories.

You mean the several doses of castor HER MIDWIFE told her to take? Repeatedly? In the HOSPITAL? UNDER SUPERVISION?!? You forget that detail? It's not like she made these decisions on her own FFS.

She had a shitty birth team. If anyone in this situation is to blame it's the midwife that sent her to the hack chiropractor, gave her castor oil instead of pitocin, and kept trying to turn a 10lb+ baby who was stuck in her pelvis.

You can hardly put the blame on a tired, labouring woman for listening to her midwife. One of the other clear headed adults should have stepped in on her behalf.

While it would have been great if another adult would have sat Missy down and tried to talk to her about getting the c section earlier. No one ever stands up to Missy or dares to go against what she wants to do. The idea of trying to get Missy to do something that she wasn't 100% on board with already probably didn't even cross their minds.

That is absolutely true. She listens to the person who tells her what she wants to hear. She got rid of the doula who told her to walk (if memory serves-- Theirmom, correct me if I am wrong), and many times has said things like "the doctor said this but I looked it up, and I am going to do that"(sorry I don't have specifics) What about letting herself get dehydrated at Disneyland while heavily pregnant? She was grinning when they wheeled her out. She has a distrust of doctors. She blames her OB not doing ultrasounds for losing Gabriel. Even if the OB had done what she wanted, there's little chance anything would have been different. But she seems to have convinced herself it would. And of course, she saved Ollie. So she always knows best.
Letting Ollie nap before his EEG is classic Missy "I'm going to do what I want instead of what the doctors say". She may have had a shitty midwife, but she listened to the person who told her what she wanted to hear.

I agree that she had a shitty midwife. Missy didn't bring the castor oil from home and snuck it in. The thing that bothers me about Missy with Finn's labor is she seemed determined for it to be an experience. After experiencing an early loss, I was solely focused on getting her out safely. I don't understand that about her. And the
dehydrating herself at Disneyland was insane. Bryan us as much to blame for that. Why didn't anyone say that it was a horrible idea. I guess a vlog title is more important than Finn's safety. And she definitely got dehydrated. She said she drank the entire time she was there but it was around 100 degrees. I was in LA the day that they were in Anaheim and it was brutal.

All this.. and i think PopTheButterfly made a good point on the last page and you touch on it as well ImMomSD.. She saved Ollie. She went against what the dr's told her and saved her son. In that instance i do think it was a good thing to go with her instincts and get checked. She has a right to be hesitant with dr's given her history, but its like shes come to the conclusion that since she was right that one time with Ollie that every dr is incompetent and SHE will always know what is best and what should be done. I'm not saying that mothers instinct isn't a good thing, or that you shouldnt follow your gut, but i also think that sometimes going with what the dr says is best. Even with Finn's kidney issues, she SAID she always gave him the antibiotics he was prescribed at birth, but she complained about it the entire time and acted like it was so dumb and not really something she should have to do. She was never happy that he got a good report at the dr, but just happy she got to stop giving him meds, bc it was just such a drain to have to keep tabs of when he had to take it. Missy will consult and go by dr google and some random yahoo answers page over a real dr any day, and i think the thing with Ollie was just what solidified that in her. She was right about Ollie in that moment, which means she will always be right. I'm wondering if her cult upbringing has anything to do with that, wonder if they shunned off dr's care..

They're still shitty people, shitty parents, the works.

She tried self inducing Ollie at 32 weeks, same with fin. She was so happy to be dehydrated at Disney, she was smiling when they wheeled her out, why not just walk if you're so happy?! Who goes to Disney heavily pregnant in the heat? Stay home, walk the mall where it's cooler?

Castro oil in the hospital? I doubt her midwife said that? We never saw the midwife recommend any of that. Are they allowed to prescribe you something like that? we just can't believe anything she says, she lies way too much.
